“Uh, well, I, uh…” Mira leans down and kisses Rumi, nipping her lower lip and retreating when she feels Rumi’s tongue trying to slip into her mouth and deepen the kiss, “I think you should stay.”
Rumi's eyes sparkle with mirth. "Really?"
"Yeah, I do." And then Mira's moving strands of purple hair from Rumi's cheeks, cups the back of her in both hands, and pulls her into a kiss. She runs her fingers through the tangle of her braid in both hands, and pulls her into a kiss. But first… She nudges Rumi's nose with her own until she pulls away. "And I think you should play a game with me."
"Oh yeah?"
Mira settles her hands on Rumi's hips, smirking. "Mm-hmm. This game is called… "she pauses for dramatic effect, "'Too Hot.'"

A sudden, timid knock at her door tore her thoughts away from her slight internal panic.
“C-come in,” Mira quickly stood from her chair, fixing her shirt as she rose, and cleared her throat.
The door swung open slowly. Slow enough that Mira thought someone had somehow put a slow motion filter on her life. As it moved inch by inch, Mira’s nose was assaulted by the singular most mouth-watering scent she’d smelt in years…or ever.
Rain lilies and jasmine permeated Mira’s office, powerful enough that she found herself gripping the edge of her desk to desperately try and grasp the already taunt wire of control that somehow was slowly slipping through her fingers. Rumi’s scent was sweet and wrapped around Mira in an unknowing vice that threatened to bring her to her knees.
