“It is time, old friend,” Ossë’s sibilant voice washed over the elf like foam over sea pebbles, deceptively soft.
“No,” Maglor replied, just as quiet, just as firm. Before Círdan can sail West he has one last task to complete: find Maglor Fëanorion and bring him home. Aided by the capricious maia of the sea, Ossë, it does not prove difficult to find him. The trouble is, Maglor does not want to come.

Perhaps Love
by John DenverPerhaps love is like a resting place, a shelter from the storm.
It exists to give you comfort, it is there to keep you warm.
And in those times of trouble when you are most alone,
the memory of love will bring you home.Winter in Erebor has set in quickly this year, one full year after the Battle of Five Armies, and word has reached the mountain of dangerous conditions in the passes of the Misty Mountains. Unfortunately, this coincides with the late departure of Kili, Tauriel, and Bilbo from the Shire, bringing Bilbo's most precious belongings back to the mountain where he plans to make his home. A rescue party sets out from Erebor, unsure if they can reach them in time, or what they might find when they do.

Summary
"If I could, I would reach past this land and towards the sea, searching for some old version of my Fingon, who exists outside the bloody tale of the Noldor in Beleriand, who can be mourned in isolation from all our other ghosts and all whom we helped make into ghosts. But my brother Fingon no longer exists in isolation. Dirges in war must be orchestral or silent: there is no in-between. Death was his reward, but not his alone."

On a rooftop three days after the Nirnaeth, Turgon rehearses a tripartite address he's scheduled to deliver the following day: an eulogy for his brother, an account of their final meeting, and his own coronation speech, in one.
