Chapter I
‘The End of All’
The silence was heavy in the war room, nobody could speak a word not even if they wanted to.
Many eyes were trained into the table that contained all their plans for the final confrontation with the King of all Villain, All For One.
Her green emerald eyes pass over all the members still alive, counting them one by one, noticing like the days before, the few of them that were left after The Apocalypse, the name they use to describe the beginning of the end when the League of Villains leaded by Shigaraki Tomura somehow not only manage to maim and kill a few of the Top Thirty Heroes in the subsequent months since his Sensei has been capture but also broke down into The Tartarus, the prison with the most advance security system aside from U.A. barely two years after the incident and free All For One. The subsequent battles and skirmish from that point on were bloody and brutal, Heroes dying faster than they could count while civilians getting involve as backslash, destroyed properties and the government trying and falling to contain the disaster, so the students gathered around at U.A, and other schools around Japan trying to come up with ways to stop the madness without actually archiving anything at first more than pure survival.
And then there was Yagi Toshinori, formerly known as All Might.
A sharp pain that was a constant in her life since a few years ago still manage to make her heart throb agonizingly, it was a wound that has never been able to heal when she thought of him begin abduct right under their noses and then show up brutally murder in the middle of Tokyo’s park as a statemen to them that they were fair game, that there was no safe place for them to hid were they wouldn’t be able to find them. After that many of the family and friends of the Heroes start going missing and showing as mangle bodies or alive but maimed with terrible traumas that they have to live with for the rest of their life.
Many people start going underground to hid, when it became clear that going to other countries wasn’t an option because the frontier and every single way of leaving Japan was blocked by a massive lockdown, however others went up against the Villains that were starting to overcome the police and government and take over the country at a fast pace, many of the families of the students were under guard at U.A. the ones who hasn’t been murderer, that is.
“This is it, isn’t it?” Uraraka Ochako, better known as Uravity, one of their better combatant said, voice quiet but serious, the look in her brown eyes shadowed like the rest of the people surrounding the table were their plans were made. She was one of the many who lost her parents. “The final battle”
“Our one chance to avenge everyone and protect the rest of the people that still are waiting for a better world” Yamada Hizashi, or as many knew him as Pro Hero Present Mic with his blond hair and green eyes smirk, thought there wasn’t any mirth in it, not since his wife and child were murderer in a surprise attack two year ago together with his best friend, Aizawa Shouta, Pro Hero Erasurehead.
“We cannot muck this up” whisper Aizawa Kyra, her dark brown eyes fixed in the papers and small figures detailing the plans, her hands were into fist and resting in the border of the big square table, her long white hair braided dawn her back reaching her calf, the lights of the room reflected on her dark suit as it did with almost everyone else.
“We won’t” Inko finally spoke from the head of the table, her spine a rod of steel, despite her short height everyone in the room turn to look at her with the according respect directed at their leader and their hopes shining bright in their eyes, and she make sure each one of them was reassure that this was it. “We are going to end this reign of terror and bring peace to everyone, and we’ll do whatever it takes to archive our goal” the decree was strong and to the point.
“Whatever it takes” many echoed those somber words, before parting ways to prepare for the next day, except for a selected few who stay behind for a bit.
There was again a quietness surrounding the room, but she couldn’t pay attention to them right now, not with all the thoughts of what was to come in the approaching battle and the memories that were surfacing in her mind against her better judgement, of all the loss and heartache that came with it, especially when her son Izuku came to her mind. Her heart and soul were irremediably broken having lost the two persons most important in her life and then some more, the ones that had made her world shine and fill her with an immense happiness that she thought would never end… until it did.
Even now Inko couldn’t think about the way her only son has wasted away, slowly, so painfully slow caused by an injury in a fight against All For One and Shigaraki, and how because of that she end up in the position she was in that moment, shouldering an enormous responsibility that would forever drag her down but one she couldn’t shake off or pass to someone else because she was the one carrying the burden and the will of the previous holders.
She had a job to do.
But in the end Izuku didn’t succumb to his injuries like many would have thought he would, no, he was a Hero all the way to his last day, dying in a fight taking down Shigaraki the right-hand man of All For One, something that make the attacks after that to turned incredibly bloody in retaliation, she was sure, and inevitable it leads to here, the moment of calm before the storm.
“This is going to work” Hizashi said quietly sitting down on one of the couches in the war room his hands intertwine in front of him and gaze fixed on the floor, not at all like his charismatic persona of Present Mic, how he used to be before the world went to hell, before the Villains killed his beautiful wife and his child who has barely been two years old. “Because I don’t know what I’m going to do if it doesn’t” the whispered confession echoed around, leaving a heavy atmosphere weighing them down realizing that if they fail many more than just them would suffer.
In those circumstances, dying was better than begin alive to see what their torn-up world would become if they didn’t manage to kill the bastard and his high raking minions.
That day the family of Hizashi was killed was a horrible affair with the most of them begin out in another place fighting a group of Villains, at the same time Aizawa’s group were moving a small group to another safe location and between those with the Pro Hero was Yamada Amy and her infant child who were being moved to a safer place than U.A. at the end of the skirmish when they came back worried about the silence of the end of the intercom they found the massacre and he almost went off the cliff with grief and emotional devastation, if it wasn’t because Kyra was in the same boat with him suffering along because of her husband death and still mourning her children who had die a year before in another attack. They grieve together and promise that they would avenge their love ones if it was the last thing they did, since then both devoted their life to the cause, rescuing civilians and fighting the Villains at the side of their friends.
They both were two of the most higher ranking in their group, and one of the deadliest and ruthless.
“The younger ones have been through a lot, they deserve a chance at a normal life, especially after all this madness” Aizawa Kyra nods, resting tiredly in a chair with her head against the back and her gaze looking into the distance while concentrating in the sounds coming from the other places of the Base, never letting her guard down for fear of a surprise attack, which was valid seeing as it has happened a few times before when they were barely starting to understand that the life as they knew it, was over.
Back when they learn to hid better or else get killed, they learn that lesson the hard way.
And they were right.
Even now Inko could picture the devasted look in Izuku’s eyes when the fight became more brutal, when people he knew start dying or coming back maimed, with the shock in their faces of the horrors they had to live through or see happening to others, the pain when they retrieve Toshi’s body from the open and Recovery Girl did the autopsy confirming what the mangle flesh already shown, that he was torn apart from the inside out but not before he was torture inhumanly. Then his first friend from U.A. was killed, Sero Hanta, in a massive attack in the street that took with it many other casualties, it was then that his green eyes, the same color as her, turn dark slowly marred by all the things happening but even then, he was like his father figure, standing up with newfound power and strength and saved people with a big smile on his face as often as he could, living up to the memory of All Might, because he wanted his mentor to rest in peace.
But even then, many civilian were dying in the crossfire o simply went missing, and so Inko realize that she couldn’t stay with her arms crossed specially after her own incident and the first of many encounter to come with All For One, the man she most hate in all the world and the one she was determinate to kill no matter what, because it was him that has taken everything she love and now there was nothing left for her but memories, it was because of those and the promise she made to her dying son that she was still standing and continue to fight, because maybe Izuku would never be able to live a life like a normal young adult and grow to be the magnificent Hero that she and Toshinori has believe he would become, to be happy and find love and fulfillment in life, no, her sweet son was dead, but some of his friends were still alive, those kids that have become like her own children after fighting beside them and for them, after comforting them and curing their wounds and simply begin a helping and supporting hand when they came back bloody and horrify by every battle.
-...Shouto, Fuyumi, Mirio, Nejire, Kaminari, Momo, Mina, Shinso, Kirishima, Tsuyu...-
And many more, every single one of them have become hers, and she has been broken and in pain every time one of them die doing what the adults should be able to do, and then there was the other Heroes, how they became friend and colleges, which turn into brothers and sisters, because you could simply not care deeply for someone when they eat, sleep and train together every day in excruciating circumstances depending on others to survive just one more day.
They have lost too much, too fast…
-Nemuri, Shota, Amy, Enji, Nezu, Shinya, Chiyo, Keigo-
She didn’t want to see another child dying, another of her friends get killed while offering an opening for others to scape because the Nomu’s were overwhelming them too much and someone had to stay alive to fight another day, to save as many as they could, for the future and the millions of innocents that still live hiding underground, waiting for a miracle to end all the calamity.
“They’re too few of us left…” Inko mutter her green emerald eyes looking through the window at the group of young people sitting around many tables eating their dinner with wan and tired faces, all looking like the fierce soldiers they had become to survive and help others, many didn’t smile anymore, didn’t have the energy to do so, only a grim determination to push through the next fight and take out of commission as many of the Villains under All For One as they could. “If I could, I would have spared them this, but as it stands we can’t allow us that liberty, not if we want to win this”
“Beggars can’t be choosers” was all Hizashi said, understanding the green hair woman, who after losing everything have stand up from the ashes like a phoenix and become the one to guide them, specially after their main genius strategist and the one to be the force behind the fight, Izuku, had die.
“Indeed” Kyra nods tiredly, before standing up stretching her slim body like the cat she was and after a long dark look at the table walked toward their leader and giving her a pat in the shoulder in silent support and then left, to start getting ready and to patrol the perimeters, quietly followed by Present Mic after he nods to their leader.
She looks at them walking out, thinking that the only reason those two were sane was because they support each other like brother and sister, if one of them would die and the other remain alive… she didn’t think that the one that’ll survive would do so for long. They were each other force, the sole reason they keep getting up to fight, that and getting revenge.
That was a sentiment share between all living under this roof.
Inko stay for a few hours more in the war room, so still she could be probably mistaken by a statue but it wasn’t until every one of the kids eating down there left that she felt like she could leave, and she did, walking silently to her assigned room in the fortress that has become U.A. nodding silently at any persons she crossed paths with in the way which weren’t many to tell the true. It was one thing she learn early on in her training, how to be unheard when walking and the advantage of stealth, along with were to hit to cause the more damage and incapacitate an individual so she could get away and then that turn into were in the human body was best to hit so the person would be killed instantly, after all no killing their opponent and showing mercy was something that was quickly forgotten in the new world they live in, a lesson hard learned.
It was kill or be killed.
And compassion usually got you murdered pretty fast, those were the rules they live by now, it was as simple as that, and they had too much to protect to allow themselves to get slain.
They learn to be ruthless, brutal war machines so they could accomplish their purpose, they trained their bodies and minds as a weapon to endure and kill, to be faster, stronger and deadlier, work hard and long periods until their lungs and muscles scream to stop and even then, they push beyond their braking point so they be ready or as ready as they could to fight the bastards that had made their world a dark place filled with horror and painted in the blood of the innocents.
In the blood of the those she has love with all her heart.
She stops in front of the metallic door, opening it and entering her eyes surveilling every corner as an afterthought, an instinct hammered into her constantly during her trainings and missions that soon became part of her, like checking every food and water for poison and always sleeping with all her senses in alert, the few times she manage to sleep without waking up for so kind of emergency or because of nightmare that is, in which case she end up going to the training facilities and practicing her quirk and physical form until she has worked over any feeling inside the blackhole that became her heart.
Inko took a seat in her singled bed and glance with an empty look at the other bed, the one that the late Nemuri Kayama had occupied before she too was killed like so many others, feeling the stillness in the place and in her heart, but there wasn’t anything able to fix it seeing as there was nothing on the earth that could take her pain away, not anymore. With steady hands she opened the little bedside table and took the last analysis book that Izuku made before dying, in an effort to recompile any intelligence on their opponents so they could have an inkling into their enemies moves and way of thinking for future fights, he put down every single thing he knew of them, including details of who they were before becoming Villains and how they got there.
The fingers that ran over ever page, once smooth and soft, now sported calluses and healed cuts, even her once round body caused by built and worrying over her son begin quirkless and her own insecurities has long been changed by a slim figure with slight define muscles underneath her pale skin filled with scars, thought she wasn’t as heavily muscled like Izuku and Toshinori had been in their prime days, it still was more than she had been back when her son first started at U.A.
Even her quirk was trained to become a weapon, specially after they realize that it just wasn’t limited to pull small object to her, but that her body could become a gravitational force in her own way, pulling and even stopping many things from moving or managing to push them away, it wasn’t weak at all, but then combine with what Izuku has given her, she was without a doubt the strongest women in the world, the only one able to take on All For One without begin robbed of her abilities and die by the hands of that monster.
It was a legacy passed down from person to person, up until her.
She learn to harness it faster than even Toshinori and Izuku did, but not because she has been stronger, not at all, even then, at the beginning of her training with that quirk, she has end up with broken bones here and there, aching terribly and yet forcing her shattered body to stand back up again and continue stubbornly, but by combining the physical features and finding a balance in how much force to put and distribute into her being, and because she learn accidentally while she was meditating how to control and fuse her essences better with all that power with the help of every single spirit of the previous holders… the nine presences that came with One For All.
That day have been a shocked surprise, but a productive one that incline the balance of power after Izuku die.
She traced every word written down by the familiar scrawl of her late son, having long ago memorize every single information of their enemies from their origins to their current position as the underlining of the crime boss of Japan Number One Villain, in the hopes of begin able to gain an advantage when facing them in a fight. Many of those have actually die in the many confrontation against them, but All For One replace them almost as fast as they kill them, something they themselves couldn’t do with the same efficiency.
Their numbers dwelled until just a few of them were left.
Inko didn’t know how much time she spent there, sitting in the dark thinking of her son and all those they had lost all those years since The Apocalypse started officially, remembering why she was fighting even if it hurt to even think about it. Even Todoroki Enji, better known as Endeavor the flame Pro Hero has turn for the better, begin one of the strongest they had to fight the Nomu’s and Villains, the redhaired man had slowly but surely work to become a better person and a better man and to reconnect with his children, even becoming a father figure to many of the kids under their care, and when he finally started to fix the relationship with the few of his family that were still alive he was killed along with the new second hand in command of All For One, Kurogiri, barely two weeks after Izuku sacrifice himself obliterating Shigaraki Tomura from existence.
He went out like a comet around the gate quirk user, taking more than fifteen Nomu’s with him, and a few other Villains and in the site of the fight was only left a crater and miles of leveled buildings.
A soft knock in the door interrupted her dark turbulent thoughts, and she has already put the book back in the bedside table by the moment Iida Tenya stood by the threshold.
“It’s time” was all the young man said, serious but with a burning flame of hatred in his eyes that equate the look in all those who were left alive after every confrontation with the Villains.
He, too, has suffered in that new world that was made of their tears and blood.
“Let’s go then” was all she could muster, standing erect taking every energy and will she had inside to face the battle ahead.
Every single one of the able bodies whom had trained to fight were there, more than twenty people with different quirks and abilities ready to face off for the last time against their nemesis and tormentor, ready to give it all or die trying. She connected her gaze with each one of them, seeing their determination and grim faces surrounding her, waiting for the go ahead so they could tear apart whoever stood in their way of archiving their goal.
“I can’t promise we’re going to win” she starts to say in the silence of the room, standing with all her five feet three inches, with her hands connected at her back in a military pose, shoulder straight and firm, face showing nothing but calm and confidence only archive after many years of war and brutal battles, of losing and winning encounters, of begin broken and remade over and over again until only their will of iron remained. “I can’t even promise we’re going to make it out alive, so if someone want to back out from this fight then feel free to do it, I’m not going to judge you and neither will everyone else, each single one of you have earn the choice to leave with my blessing and my best wishes”
At first no one said anything, stern faces and curios eyes roaming around seeing if anyone dare to go along with the opening their leader and only mother figure they had left had given them, but nobody accepted, they have go through hell and back, and they were seeing their choice to fight to the end.
“I say we hit the bastards up with everything we got, see if we roasted some of them up for good measure” Hizashi said with a sharp smirk and cold gaze, a looming figure in the war room, what with his height and all.
“We have nothing else to lose, so we may as well go down like a supernova around them” Kyra shrugs, her brown eyes that had once been a deep pool of rich dark chocolate now were just pure steel changing to a bright yellow-gold with slit pupils, long sharp nails resting innocently against her arms. She has ripped apart more than one person with those delicate hands without even blinking, no hesitation at all, just cold calculated fury born from loss and pain, even when once upon a time she was one of the kindest people around, but like many others, that person die along with her love ones, and just the killer remains.
They didn’t really believe themselves Heroes, not anymore, they have too much blood in their hands to be considerate one.
“Worst case scenario we die like a sorry bunch of fucking losers, best case scenario we win and lit those bastards up good” Bakugo Katsuki snarl from his position against Uravity, who was not only the closest person to him since Deku and Kirishima were killed in combat but was also his wife and friend.
“Is that the choice you take?” Inko ask them, and when every single one of them nods, she curve her lips in a piercing grin, it couldn’t even be considerate a smile it was too jaded for that, it was more a show of teeth than anything else, far from the sweet and kind she has been known for, long time ago. “Then let’s go, you all know what to do” and with that they check and recheck their weapons and bodysuits made especially by Melissa Shield who has killed herself a few weeks ago so the Villains weren’t able to take her prisoner and make her work for them, that was another child she couldn’t save and that would forever weight down on her spirit along with the rest of the people she fail.
They went out of their base in a coordinate troop, each one of them knew which position occupied and how to defend their backs, they were like a good oiled machine ready to act and kill at the least sign of trouble, moving silently in the cover of the night, first under the secret tunnels they have made under the school and then following in the alleys and rooftops from shadows to shadows like they were part of the night itself, knowing that their bait was in place and they wouldn’t resist trying to catch them, specially since the brutal blow they give to the Villains in their last encounter with them that left All For One seething in silent rage.
Inko took a deep silent breath, centering herself in that space in her soul that was mixed with the sentient but quiet essence of the other nine holders, that were perfectly intertwine with hers and made it possible for her lithe body to withstand the immense brutal manpower that was One For All, even when her muscles were not even near how Izuku has been before getting fatally wounded, not counting in the impressive muscle packs of All Might in his prime.
It was still in the dark of night, their bodies crouched in different places over the radius of one of Musutafu central buildings long abandoned and left to be nothing but ruins after the many fights played there. Their intercom as quiet as their breathing, waiting calmly as the trained soldiers they become until a loud explosion could be heard quickly followed by the ground shaking, and that was it, their signal to start the attack.
They descended on the Villains with a vengeance striking fast and hard, with an clinical precision of a calculated eye, leaving only bloody bodies while moving through their ranks like water in a river, fluid and not stopping at all, they went like that for a while, hoping that the main puppeteer would show up soon enough, and while they did Inko was hidden in the shadows still, emerald eyes alert of the surroundings, helping her friends and what family of choice left she still had with her own push and pull when the enemies were too close to them than she’d liked.
It was twenty minutes into the attack that it finally happens, with a strong wind many of the Villains and Heroes alike went flaying in different directions, some dead and others hurt by the powerful attack, but mostly her companions were well. Instantly between a bunch of rubbles came walking the same man they have been waiting to show up, and before he could take another hit at her friends she launches herself from the hidden place aiming a punch directly at his face which he had somehow manage to fix after begin disfigured by Toshinori.
Her fist collide with the earth creating a crater that sent rocks and debris flying with the air force the attack created, she has miss because he had manage to jump at the last possible second, and now was looking at her with those hazel eyes and perfect white hair, dressed in a two pieces suit of fine cloth and shining dress shoes, he could’ve been an attractive business man ready to go to a conference if it wasn’t because his aura was as cold as the Antarctic, there wasn’t any kind of warmth in his face nor any sympathy or mercy, no, looking at him was like staring at the purest of evil creature and watching it staring back with hatred so deep it couldn’t be understood by anyone, but she was sure that in that moment it matched hers to the last bit.
“Ah, at last the final rat has come out of hiding” even his voice was smooth and proper, his sinful lips curving into a smirk so wicked that a few of the Villain move nervously, having noticed the murderous glint in his gaze at once. “How wonderful, because you see, I would very much like to play with you Midoriya Inko-san, after all you are a bug that I would love to squish out forever like the others that came before you”
She tinned her lips into a white line but didn’t say anything back, having learn the lesson in the most hardest of way that indulging him into those petty games of words only end up making her unstable and open to mistakes that she couldn’t afford, specially not that day. Shutting down efficiently her emotions and any feeling that could endanger her proficiency at the moment of battle as she trained herself to do and instead she crouches into a fighting stance with her fist up and legs ready to move with her eyes filled with loathing and a determinate glint to kill him or die trying.
“Such a shame you’re not the talking type like All Might, I always could get a rise out of him” he tutted, looking as if he was genuinely disappointed in that, but his hawk like gaze said that he was waiting for an opening to strike, like a snake coiling into itself, hunting the prey. “Even his successor, Deku, was easier to taunt, but you my dear, you learned from their mistakes… it’s too bad it’s not going to serve you much when I obliterate you like I did your precious son”
If it was possible her emerald eyes turn like glacier, her face to stone, before she stopped the first punch directed at her with such force part of the building behind her crack and fell, but Inko was already moving faster than the human eye could catch and returning fire with fire, landing the same many hits on him that he did on her, and protecting her vulnerable places as best a she could while at the same time trying to shield as much as she could the others who were still fighting the main manpower of All For One high officials. They destroy every single surface they landed on, shattering the few windows still standing in meters around them with their clash of quirks raining millions of crystals that cut into skin thought neither paused to wash the blood that started to seep from their wounds, because as smug as the bastard has start the battle with his arrogance of having acquired new abilities and believe himself stronger than all, a God among men, it was obvious that she wasn’t the weakling from before and she too has turn out to be stronger and deadlier, especially after having finally mixed her own essence with those before her completely, so his mask of amusement eventually crack and the fight started to become fierce and brutal.
A battle of titans.
Around them she could hear the shrieks of pain and of people dying, crashing and burning, of her friends braking and killing and falling taking down with them as much of their enemies as they could.
Her ears rang loudly when Hizashi let out a bloodcurdling scream when Kyra was struck down by a Villain and made her heart bleed anew once more realizing that the sudden cry that produced a soundwave that made more than one building crumble atop many enemies has taken him down along with them; the explosions that cut abruptly that signaled Katsuki position on the other part to her right was followed by shouted sobs from Ochako who then proceed to drop more than two buildings down on as many as she could before begin killed herself thought she brought down to the grave a massive number of the highest ranking men of All For One. Every single time Inko move to attack the disgusting bastard that wanted world domination through cruel means without caring who he destroy in his path, she could see and heard the only family left to her yelling, bleeding, dying, but she refuse to stop, knowing that if she did then the overwhelming sorrow and pain would drag her down to the lowest pit of hell and she still needed to murder the fucker who has caused all the bloodbath and death of so many.
She owns it to her friends and family to end the reign of terror.
Landing hit after hit, each punch and kick turning more savage and vicious, breaking skin and bones, splashing blood everywhere, until there was a stand still when they connect the other with force and back off stumbling grabbing the injuries that leaked their life force into the ground but not taking their eyes off each other.
“You could have been great with that kind of power in your grasp, an asset to me… but instead you chose to stay with the weak while your world turn to ash and dead bodies” All For One spit out hatefully, like a rabid animal cornered by a bigger threat, grabbing the hole in his chest where a lung has been ripped to pieces along with half his organs that not even his various regeneration quirks could heal, his heart has been barely missed by that tiny fist.
“You took everything from me, there is no way in hell I’ve would join your fucking side” Inko snarls withstanding the excruciating pain that was overcoming her body by pure will of steel and stubbornness, pressing the gaping hole in her side trying to stay the flow of blood that dropped like a river down her side, the same place that Toshinori’s has been hit in his first clash with the monster in front of her, the same injury that eventually ended with his career and almost with his life… and that in that moment was fatal blow for her, she didn’t have much time left with the amount of blood she was losing. “I’m not giving up yet, because as far as there is still someone to protect, I would still be keep getting up to stop you”
“There is no one left alive of your pitiful band of friends!” he growls, baring his teeth like the deranged monster he was, filled with hate and craziness infecting everybody like a disease, blood dripping down his chin the same way it did her. “Look around you Hero! There are no more living people but you and I!”
Inko didn’t bother to turn around, she knew well enough that he was right, has know it all along, her companions were long dead, their bodies throw around like discarded broken dolls or under heavy constructions or even obliterated from existence entirely, but even then, she couldn’t stop, not now, not ever until he was no more.
“You’ll never understand the meaning behind protecting someone else besides yourself… but that’s alright, because your reign… is over!” and with that she launch at the highest speed she could muster putting all the force and power behind her punch, all of One for All at its full capacity and beyond her limit, it didn’t leave him time to react putting her small but powerful hand through his chest passing skin, muscle and bone ripping his black heart out and exploding the ribcage along an arm and part of the neck, before putting another into his head making a mess of entrails, blood and brain into the crater she create.
Inko stood there motionless and waiting for him to get up and fight, but minutes pass by and he wasn’t standing, wasn’t moving and right that moment she just knew that that was it, that she has killed the monster after going through a living hell for over nine years of suffering and bloodbath and death.
It was over.
Her knees hit the cracked ground painfully not having anymore energy to move or even care, feeling the warm liquid pour out of her into the dirt without doing anything to stop it, it wasn’t worth it, not really… there was no one near that battlefield alive to ask for help nor around for miles and miles, she even thought that by that point Musutafu was devoid of any life beside the few Heroes under her orders who had fight and die that day with her.
Not a sound could be heard beside the softly caress of the wind on her person.
Her green emerald eyes stare blankly at the sky, noticing for the first time that it was starting to disperse the night into the day, slowly the sun was rising painting the firmament with the light tones of the dawn and she couldn’t help the small curve of her lips at the significance of it.
A new beginning was about to start for those that has waited for it…
Slowly a single bloody tear rolled down the rim of her eye catching into her matted green and silver hair painting it red, while she felt her heart slowing down and a coldness overcome her body stealing any warmth that she possess until the crippling pain receded leaving her numb and filled with calmness, her gaze turning blurry and somewhat black, because she knew she was dying, she has accepted it long ago, her mortality and with it the hope that after she passes away she’ll be able to reunite with her love ones in the other side.
She longed for it, for those day were the only big worry in her life was what to do for dinner, the simplicity and peace.
Inko could almost see it… Izuku, with his warm eyes and bright soul beside Toshi with his kind smile welcoming her with open arms along with her others friends, it was a fantasy come true and one she embraces with her whole self.
When her eyes finally close, there was a white flash of light accompanied with every single one of the shining colors representing each previous holder of One For All, filling her with a powerful sensation that yanked her navel uncomfortably in a strange way before she knew no more, letting the darkness and cold grip of death consume her.
