Were all the names they called the man who barely showed himself to the eyes of the humans living in Liyue. One of the "Mighty and Illuminated Adepti" guarding Liyue, also heralded as the "Guardian yaksha."
Some were afraid of him, and some loved him to the bone. There were rumours about him; the owners of Wangshu Inn, describe him as someone who loves "peace and quiet" while others describe him as an evil demon. Nobody knew the truth about him.
Some people even claimed he at night took people out of their homes, to get fed by the wolfs living in the tall mountains nearby. Other's said he was bound by contract to protect Liyue from demons and evil gods. People were missing in Liyue, which is why people made terrifying claims. It was easy to blame a thing nobody has ever proven to have seen, but it created fear among the people.
People were scared to leave their homes after noon and if you said a word about him, you'd get locked up for speaking about him out in the open. People thought that might anger him and summon him on the spot.
You, a pretty young lady living in Mondstandt, wants to find out more about him. You had packed your stuff; clean clothes, enough mora, your sword and a notebook. You smiled at yourself in the mirror, excited for the journey you were going to go on.
