Chapter Text
Legacy. What is a legacy? Why was it so important? Why were all these men ranting and fighting to leave this ‘legacy’ behind before his mother claimed them down into her kingdom?
You see, before he was born, Technoblade knew his fate would never be what he wanted it to be.
He had been destined from the moment of conception to be the dreaded Blood God, a deity killed thousands of years ago by the Primes as a way to bring peace at last and have control over the Nether.
That wasn’t the only thing he couldn’t control.
His parents were two of the most powerful Primes and their titles only guaranteed the bringing of the next Blood God.
Kristen was the Prime of Death, ruling over every server imaginable when it came to their afterlives while his father had been Lionmaker, Prime of War and the one responsible for countless battles that kept his wife’s job lacking any form of vacations OR breaks.
To the eyes of everyone around, their marriage had been rocky from the moment they got together, his half-piglin-half lion hybrid father’s love for power rivaled against his avian mother’s compassion for human rights and freedom.
The marriage hadn’t even lived for more than a mortal year before his father met his fateful death at the hands of his mother.
The Prime of War had been killing countless servers behind the backs of his Council and had been running an underground kingdom as a tyrant within the Nether’s hellish wastelands.
It was only because of a whistleblower did the Primes’ learn about what was going on.
They had declared war on him at once, furious at his actions, and gathered as many people as they could to try and fight against him. The resulting bloodbath that followed was predicted but still shocking.
His mother had initially refused to join the battle, feeling unwell yet not knowing she was with child when she’d been asked. But once she saw none of the Primes could defeat her husband she took it upon herself to do something about it.
It was a brutal battle but Kristen was victorious in the end for nothing was stronger than Death herself. She could hear the cheers of the surviving troops when she lifted her sword coated with her husband’s blood to show their victory.
It was right after his death that she discovered she was pregnant with Techno and fell to her knees weeping for what she had done and for her unborn child who was clueless to her actions.
It took the entirety of her pregnancy to bring back peace to the servers and to the survivors before the fateful day came for her firstborn to be brought physically into her loving arms. Kristen fell in love with him the minute he cried out to the world, undeterred by the obvious legacy that followed him.
To her, he was her tiny son and nothing would ever change that.
”My beautiful boy,” Kristin had said, as the baby calmed down to nuzzle into her warmth, “my beautiful baby boy, Technoblade.”
