Chapter 1: Prologue - The beginning

Chapter Text

When Izuku finally woke up, he felt much better than yesterday. Even too much, if he was being honest. in fact, he felt better than ever, like he just woke up from a healing rest. It was weird how he didn't feel any pain from his last night's training for the provisional license exam. he swore that last night he had terrible pain in his leg. Maybe he went a bit overboard, but he didn't care, he made a promise to All Might, to become the number one, and that's what he is going to do. Even Aizawa complimented him about his performance, and for him, that surely was an achievement. He still remembers when his teacher said that with this power he couldn't be a hero. He was happy that he managed to at least change his mind, even if only a bit.

He left that trail of thought to notice that his bed was also much softer than before like it was made just for him, which he surely didn't remember it being so comfortable. And this room didn't smell like ours, in fact it smelt of vanilla...

'hold on... this smell isn't familiar...'  Izuku panicked, literally jumping and falling off his bed and maintaining his balance with his right leg, which didn't hurt at all! Even if weird, Izuku was happy. At least he could move freely. Now, he found himself looking around the room, and his suspects were confirmed. The room was literally absent of his All Might collection, in fact, it even had a different layout! Looking on his left, he saw his phone near a lamp on a nightstand, it surely was different from his one. Still looking around, he saw a window, he rushed to it and opened it, letting the cold outside's airflow into this room. Getting closer to the window, he saw that outside was snowing. Getting on the balcony, he saw that there was a little table with wooden chairs, which looked really cozy.

He also noticed that this his class dorm, infact this building was at least ten floors high, he realized that this must be a hotel on a mountain, a really beautiful hotel if he must add.

Getting back inside, he closed the window and once again scanned the room, apparently someone was also under the bed's covers. So he wasn't alone, great. Slowly he made his way near the bed and pulled the covers off, revealing a pretty feminine body, who he recognized as Uraraka.

"Still five minutes... I am sleepy..." Uraraka said, disturbed that someone pulled the cover's off her.

So URARAKA was sleeping in the same bed? In the same room? Under the same covers? Oh boy, this was too much for Deku, he was lucky that he finally managed to don't stutter while talking to her, and now the world punishes or blesses him by revealing that she was sleeping with him.

"Deku you really need to stop with that mumbling thing you know..." Uraraka said, while now sitting on the edge of the bed, slowly adjusting to her surroundings, Izuku began to look at her and noticed that she was wearing a pink blouse with some black shorts, while her hair was a mess. Izuku couldn't contain his enormous blush, seeing the early-morning version of Uraraka made him reconsider how pretty she was. Hold on pretty?!

Anyways, he was also still wondering why she didn't care at all that she woke up in the same bed as him, did they engage in some activity that their best friend Iida would consider "Illicit"? Now his blush increased even more, but it was impossible, he remembered that after dinner, he went to his room to sleep, as he was too tired to even undress that he fell asleep with his casual clothes. Did someone kidnap him and her into some type of research facility on top of an uninhabited mountain? Impossible... UA wouldn't permit it, in fact it was almost impossible to enter in it, especially in the student's dorms.

Urar-a-aka di-d w-e d-o a-a-any-thing la-s-t ni-ght?" Izuku asked, unable to contain his blush. Wondering what has he done to deserve this.

"Done what?..." Uraraka still sleepily replied, having no clue what was happening. After a bit, she turned around and noticed that DEKU was in the same room as her, and that the bed was a mess on the other side of where she slept... did they sleep in the same bed?!

"DEKU?! Why are you in my room this early!?" Uraraka yelled, panicking that she slept in the same bed as Deku.

"I have no clue! I just woke up here, and I also noticed that this wasn't my room and we aren't in the school's dorm, infact outside his snowing and this building is at least ten floors tall!" He replied instantly, informing her of what he discovered.

Hearing this news, Uraraka calmed herself, what did he mean that they weren't in the school dorms? Did someone kidnap them? Was this another one of Aizawa's surprise tests where they should fight for expulsion?! But how would he put in the same bed Deku and her? Something didn't add up...  She decided to confront Deku, asking him about what was happening.

"Deku... Do you think that someone kidnapped us? This doesn't look like my room either..." She asked him, trying to understand in what mess they were.

Hearing this, Izuku stopped blushing, entering in his "hero" mode, they could be at risk, both of their lives, he couldn't make her die, nor could he. He decided to focus, slowly scanning the room. But if they were kidnapped, why wouldn't they tie them to the bed? why leave the window open? Why make them rest in a luxurious hotel room? All this ordeal was weird, it surely wasn't a kidnapping, but they should be on the lookout anyways.

Uraraka, hearing his mumble, agreed with him. In fact, this couldn't be a kidnap nor one of her teacher's tests, otherwise, he would have at least left them some instructions...

"Well we won't find out anything if we stay here, let's dress up and investigate, I tried out and the door seems unlocked.." Izuku said. Infact, while Uraraka was thinking, he scanned once more the room, noticing that this was a normal apartment room with his and Uraraka's clothes, and a giant tv hanging on the wall, with under it a table with a decoder and a remoter. It also had a bathroom, which had all a bathrooms needs, simple as that.

"Alright, I'll get some clothes and change. B-b-but are we changing together?" She asked, thinking about  both of them changing in the same room was something that she never thought about... Maybe.

Izuku hearing this reminded himself that he didn't inform her about the bathroom, so he immediately told her with a small blush that he would change there, and once she was done she would have knocked on the door to inform him. Agreeing with him, they both got a pair of decent clothes, Izuku went into the bathroom, meanwhile, Uraraka changed in the bedroom.

Once changed, before heading out of the door, they heard someone shouting in what hell was he sent to, while he made explosions with his hands. Needless to say, they recognized their classmate, and immediately bolted out of the room to find him. At least they weren't alone, something that they were both glad about. The more they were, the better they could fight whoever tried to harm them, especially with the explosive power of their friend.

As expected, it was pretty easy to locate him, by the loud explosions that he made with his quirk. While running around the corridors, they noted how their theories were correct, this was a six-star hotel, with golden nameplates on each door's room to signal who owned this room. On their trip, they collected also some of their classmates on their journey to find their friend, as they were confused as much as the two friends.

"Hey Midoriya, any idea of what's happening." Shoto Todoroki asked while they were searching for their friend. Turning his head back to reply to him, he noticed that it was pretty funny what was Shoto wearing, In fact, his shirt had a soba figure on it, saying that he was as cold as his soba. Some people made remaks about it, and he replied saying that he never owned this shirt, but he would buy an entire stock once they got out of here.

Avoiding the attention from his shirt, and the small laugh that he emitted, he replied. "No clue, but we'll get to the bottom of this" Izuku said, determined to find out what was happening.

After another minute, they reached the first floor and began to look around. This was probably the all, in the middle there was a fountain which was made of gold, and on the edges of the room, there were also many flowers, which Izuku couldn't recognize. But what got the most attention was when they saw that a slightly older version of Bakugo that was literally yelling at their same classmate, saying why a brat like him always needed to shout and that they should get him to the vet for being such an angry pomeranian. Masaru, Mitsuki's husband was trying to make both of them calm down, but without success.

Needless to say, everyone started to laugh once they started imagining Bakugo being a dog who could only bark for hours. "Didn't know that someone could actually tame that beast" Denki added while rolling on the floor, unable to stop laughing. It was rare to see someone that could actually tame Bakugo, but Izuku knew well that his friend's mother was one of the few people that could do that. Well, now Bakugo was pissed and ready to explode. But someone interrupted him.

"Izuku? Is that you" A gentle voice that he recognized instantly asked. He turned around and saw his mother, who was wearing her usual pink jumper. "Mom?" Izuku replied. As soon as she saw him, she ran and hugged him tightly, too tightly In fact he was sure that he was going to die by lack of oxigen. Luckily, Uraraka distracted his mother, otherwise who knows what would have happened.

"Hello Ms. Midoriya! I am Uraraka Ochako, Deku said a lot of good things about you!"  She happily said, distracting Inko and making her release her son. By the face that Inko was making, he was sure that she was going to embarrass him.

"Oh Uraraka! I've heard a lot about you, Izuku always talks about you!" She replied, making Izuku blush so hard that he was sure he was going to faint. He knew that his mother would have embarrassed him, but why did she have to with Uraraka, why not with someone else like Todoroki, who was always polite and a bit reserved.

"O-oh! I hope good things!" Uraraka replied, blushing a bit thinking that her cru- best friend was always telling good things about her to his mother, She also tried to say some good things about Deku to her parents, so that made her happy that he also did the same. Even if it embarrassed her.

Before Izuku could stop both of them to talk about what He said to his mother about Uraraka, a deep male voice with a female one interrupted them. "Ochako!" Everyone turned around and saw two people. One was an older version of Ochako, who had also the same permanent blush on her cheeks and her hairstyle. The other one was a tall and light-brown-haired man, who was also a bit muscular. Obviously, everyone recognized them as Uraraka's parents.

"Mommy! Daddy! You are here too!" She exclaimed, before rushing to them and hugging them. She was so happy that she finally could see once again her parents, with all their work, rarely she could see them. In fact, this was why Uraraka chose to become a hero, to repay her parents for what they have done for her, this was what pushed her forward apart from Deku. But she was also a bit preoccupied, meaning that they were stuck with her in this weird place.

After the reunion, more students made their way to where they were. Uraraka also introduced Deku to her parents, saying that he was the one that saved her during the exam. Deku, already flustered that she was presenting him to her parents, became also MORE flustered as both of them hugged him, crying and thanking him a lot of times for saving their baby. Izuku began also to cry, as when someone cried, he always followed them. He made sure to say that he had done what a hero would do, and he didn't want any reward for it, Uraraka's wellbeing was enough! He didn't mean to say the last part aloud, in fact looking at her he saw that she was blushing, and that worsen a lot his blush.

Izuku had a strange feeling that his mother and Uraraka's one were going to be instant friends, in fact as soon as they stopped crying, he noticed that her mother presented herself to them and both mothers began to talk about how their kids would be cute together, needless to say, that both Uraraka and Izuku almost fainted, while her father was laughing about their reaction.

A bit later, they heard their tired teacher's voice, Aizawa's one, and on how he said to shut up otherwise he would have expelled everyone. Everyone istantly stopped speaking, noticing how their principal, Nezu, came out of their teacher's scarf. How did he even fit in there? Anyways, All Might, present mic and midnight also joined them, greeting them in the process.

"Now, now students, calm down. If you are wondering, no, this isn't a test, in fact, on our way here we met the owner of this place. And it had a deal that would greatly benefit us, so please listen to him carefully before speaking." The rat-bear-dog thing said, while also gaining the attention of everyone. Izuku thought about the deal, what could it be? If it manage to gain Nezu's trust, then sure it was something worth accepting.

"Thank you Nezu, I will now present myself. I am Jade, owner of this place. I summoned to give you an opportunity." The voice replied, no one could figure out if the voice was a female or male one, but everyone was still wondering what was this opportunity it was talking about. Were they sure that this wasn't a villain?

"This opportunity is that I will permit you to watch the future, and give you the possibility to learn from the mistakes that you will probably commit. But beware, we will watch the story from the perspective of one of you, I won't say yet who, but he will be the protagonist. If you want to accept this opportunity that would benefit you, take the hall to your right, otherwise, the one on your left, which will bring you to the living room and wait until the show is over. Now, I'll give you ten minutes to reach the theatre, just head to the corridor to your right and take a sit once inside. See you in a bit." Once the voice concluded his speech, there was a silence that lasted for at least a minute.

"BULLSHIT! THIS IS JUST A VILLAIN WHO IS TRICKING US! WE-" Bakugo yelled. Too bad that Aizawa's scarf reached to shut him before he could speak further, gaining a laugh from Mitsuki, happy to see that someone was teaching her son some education, in which she failed. He activated his quirk, making his eyes red.

"Enough Bakugo, the owner already talked privately to the principal in private, explaining what they were going to see. You are still under our protection, and this was the best choice. Now I don't want to hear anyone else talking, I'll wait for you in the theatre." He said, deactivating his quirk. The teacher faculty followed him, and slowly everyone followed suit, scared by Aizawa. He can be persuasive when he wants.

Izuku meanwhile was thinking about who could be the protagonist of this show... Maybe Kacchan? He always said that he was the "main protagonist" or stuff like that... Maybe even Todoroki, but that would be an issue. His familiar situation was bad, and looking at his past would trouble him more.

What if it was his own story? What if everyone found out about his past and one for all?! How could he live after that!

Luckily, Uraraka called him saying that she reserved a sit for him, bringing him out of his worried state.

'Yeah... Nothing to worry about...'   Izuku thought while following Uraraka and sitting right next to herm while her parents were next to her. He also noticed that All Might and his mother got a seat right next to him, and he was happy that at least he was near his Idol and his mother, who both smiled at him. Meanwhile, Iida was right in the seat behind him, trying to calm everyone. It wasnt a big theatre, it just had enough seats for everyone, and the screen was big enough for his likes. He was in the second row, so he could see everything decently, He was lucky that Uraraka saved him a sit, he had such a caring friend. He was lucky to have her.

While waiting for the show to start, everyone began to chat wondering who would they were going to see, obviously, Bakugo was screaming about being the protagonist, as everyone else was an extra. Izuku didn't notice how Uraraka was calming her father down, as he finally recognized the blonde who was talking, who was the one that hurt badly his baby girl.

Suddenly, "Jade" once more began to speak, telling everyone to calm down and that the show was starting.

"Alright little listeners, stop speaking and get ready to watch!" Present mic yelled while Aizawa was thinking about asking for a raise, he was too tired for this.

The screen of the theathre slowly turned on, everyone had their eyes glued on the screen, curious what was it about...
