Work Text:
The salon door flung open, whizzing past a sobbing woman, hands grasping where long hair had hung mere minutes ago. Another woman stepped past her. She was donned in armor, a sword sat in a scabbard and a gold, luminescent rope hung from her side on a belt. The woman strode to the front desk purposefully, making an appointment. Besides the small crown with a red star resting upon her forehead, there was another metal scrap tangled in her hair. Two sharp ends stuck out, black locks wrapped around every edge.
The TV in the corner was showing footage from the night before. A giant gorilla lay unconscious at the bottom of a crater. The scarlet speedster moved from the side of the animal to the edge of the indentation in a flash, the dark knight and an Amazon stand further back.
If the camera had stayed on them a moment longer, watchers would have seen the Flash run past the two others to join them. Batman’s cowl and cape flew atop the following wind, gracefully and dramatically drifting back down. The blue skirt Wonder Woman wore flapped along while her unfortunately long, wavy, dark hair caught onto the Batarang the caped crusader had been holding, only making it worse when she stepped away. After tugging it around trying to get it out, the weapon was only more tangled. It cut through some strands while others wrapped themselves around it, bringing it higher and deeper into the warrior’s head of hair. The two Leaguers barely stopped her from chopping it all off immediately with her long sword.
A shield dropped onto the floor clattering against the chair as Wonder Woman flopped down, decked out in blue, red, and gold, onto the cushioned seat for a haircut.
