Factions / Sovereignties of the Overworld

Norahail Empire
Formed about 20 years ago in the arctic north, the Norahail Empire is a force to be reckoned with in both battle and politics. Although an Empire, its government structure more closely resembles a constitutional monarchy, especially since the current royal family founded the nation.
Capital: Avalgarde
Colours: Blue, White, Gold
Hyacinth Empire
One of the oldest nations in all of Etheos, the Hyacinth Empire has ruled the lands around Spawn for centuries. It is an absolute monarchy, although many of its larger cities have begun following in the footsteps of their northern neighbours and begun implementing representative systems.
Capital: Roesende
Colours: Violet, Silver
Agrestühl City
A walled city on the coast of the northern taigas, Agrestuhl City is a notoriously neutral city-state that has managed to remain independent from the rule of other nations. It is somewhat of a representative system, relying more on bloodlines and experience than people’s choice for the role of Governor.
Colours: Spruce Green, Orange, Copper
Valigneo Kingdom
The oldest kingdom in Etheos, the Valigneo Kingdom is built around the eastern mountains and the profitable mines beneath them. It is a dictatorship, having moved farther and farther away from a representative system over the years.
Capital: Mondihir
Colours: Red, Grey, Gold
Oakendale Republic
The first long-lasting and stable republic in Etheos, the northwestern Oakendale Republic is barely 10 years old after succeeding in a brutal uphill revolution to win their independence from the Hyacinth Empire. Presidents and representatives are elected by citizens, and its government system is revolutionary in its design.

Kingdom of Ocello
An old kingdom with a new ruler, the Ocello Kingdom encompasses the entirety of the thick jungles of the southwest. A peaceful revolution over a decade ago resulted in the overthrowing of the entire government system, and is now a constitutional monarchy under a king who was unanimously crowned by his people.
Capital: Ocello City
Colours: Brown, Pale Yellow, Light Pink, Bronze
Evokia
A new nation that emerged from the midst of the dangerous woodlands of the west, Evokia is a strange and belligerent society with only one settlement. It can accurately be described as a military dictatorship, with rank determined by skill in dark magic.
Colours: Dark Grey/Black, Green, Gold
Vannash Alliance
Made up of four tribes allied together to stand united, the Vannash Alliance has staked claim to the eastern savannas between Hyacinth’s plains and the uninhabited deserts. While most of the Vannash tribes are nomadic in nature and origin, the alliance does have a handful of permanent settlements and cities. Tribes are Clan Ezal (south coastal), Clan Dayue (northeast), Riders of Faroh (central west), Acao Tribe (southwest).

Holy Guardian Queendom
Based around South Monument City in the southeastern ocean, the HGQ is a powerful and theocratic nation with a Queen and a High Priestess to govern. Interaction with land-based nations is limited, as the Queendom is largely self-sufficient and detest land dwellers.

Colours: Aqua, Orange, Gold
Craft Order
An independent organisation devoted to the protection of the Overworld Spawn Grounds made up of elite warriors and a mysterious leader. They created the Craft Order Sanctuary around Spawn to protect the recently respawned from spawn kills; any acts of aggression or violence are not tolerated anywhere within its walls.
