It was a late afternoon in Megapolis.
About 3 weeks after lady Bone Demon’s defeat.
Everyone had been rebuilding parts of their fine city that had been destroyed by the lady bone demon’s ice.
Sandy had finally rebuilt his boat with the help of nezha and some mystic monkey powers!
The old girl was almost back into shape
Just a few more fixes here and there and she’d be good to go.
The blue demon had been out on his dock platform.
Organizing some boxes here and there, cleaning up his dock a bit.
He’d miss home and is happy to be back in his cozy boat with his cats.
Well, it seemed another guest would be joining him very soon…
Sandy heard a groan from somewhere on his doc platform, he set down his box and went to investigate.
Near some fallen boxes laid a monkey with
black fur.
‘Macaque?’
His eyes were closed shut and his breathing was slow and even.
Sleeping.
With further inspection Sandy saw scratches and some small wounds on the monkey’s face. He wore a pained look.
Sandy was confused on why he was laying here on his dock but pushed the questions aside for now.
He carefully picked up the sleeping shadow monkey and started heading towards his boat.

He went into his bedroom and laid macaque down on it.
Sandy went to get the first aid kit from the bathroom.
When he returned he saw the pained look become worse as red seeped through the side of his clothing.
Blood…
Carefully he took off the others shirt and saw a wound on his side..
Scratches and bruises covering his body-
He started to clean the side wound and wrapped it in some bandages.
The blue demon checked for any broken bones and found 2 broken ribs- and possibly some bruised ones.
Possible sprained ankle.
He began to clean the scratches and wrapped macaques ribs and ankle.
Sandy brought some liquid pain medication to the others mouth who struggled to swallow it.
Sandy pulled the blankets up and scratched macaque’s head a bit, who leaned into the touch.
He heard Mo’s meows and saw him hop onto the bed
“Could you stay with him Mo?”
Mo meowed and curled up beside the sleeping monkey.
Sandy smiled and left the room.
He sat on his couch and got his phone out.
Dialing MK.
“Hey Sandy! Need something?” MK asked
“Hey MK, I umm- well, I found Mr maquack on my doc-“
There was silence for a moment
“Is he okay?! Are you okay??? Also it’s pronounced macaque!” MK asked in a rush of words
“I’m okay! And he’ll be okay hopefully. He was injured pretty bad but I patched him up. Mo’s with him right now keeping him company. He was passed out when I found him” Sandy reassured him.
“…it must’ve been from possessed monkey king!- he was laying holding his stomach whenever he threw him down! I knew I should’ve asked if he was okay!” MK cursed at himself
Sandy sighed with a sad smile
“Don’t worry Mk, he’ll be okay! I’ll help him in anyway I can. Mentally and physically”
“Thank you Sandy! You the man”
“You’re welcome MK!
He ended the call and looked towards his bedroom where the sleeping macaque was.
He knew macaque would would be okay physically…
But mentally?
That was a whole other deal.
