I stared at the creature before me for what felt like long suspended minutes until it spoke mouth unopened, “My name is Kibly. And as for why I'm here because I bet you were wondering, my job is to make a single wish of yours come true! Is there anything you truly desire at time and place?”
I took a few deep breaths in and out before speaking, “You can make anything at all come true right? No strings attached?” The creature who called itself Kilby nodded ecstatically the bells on its ears jingled as its small head bobbed up and down. “Alright then… I wish I weren’t such a letdown to those around me…” A small smile spread across Kilby's lips and it made my stomach twist as a pain sprung into my chest making my eyes water from the pain that came only for my focus to go to a bright green glow coming from where the pain was coming from as it felt like something was being yanked out of me but I didn’t know what it was until through my clouded vision I could see the shape of a keychain before blacking out in the hangout spot hearing Kilby’s voice say, “It is done now that your wish is fulfilled and brought to the reality you are destined to fight the darkness of nightmares shrouding the land. Just don’t succumb to fear or it will consume you and harm the ones you hold dear to your chest.”
