Kiana gazed across from where she sat in a library,while her head throbbed in pain from seeing too much notes in the desk she’s stuck on,she pulled her unfinished essay closer glaring down on it hoping it dissipates for a few seconds but it sadly didn’t….Kiana decided to rest her eyes by staring unashamedly to the handsome model student that sat on the opposite side.
“Hey Class Moni-"
“Hm? What is it?”
Fu hua heaves a sigh letting go of her pen reaching up to rub her temple while shooting Kiana a look for interrupting for who knows what time looking for an excuse to take a break from studying.The latter sheepishly grinned before briefly glancing down at her desk.
“I’ve just thought your right hand looked a little lonely, Can I hold it?”
Fu hua looked down at the said hand with a bemused expression,while Kiana shot her best winning smile or so she thought from catching the president off guard.Her mouth felt dry as the silence stretched on.
“I don’t think a hand can get lonely though,but if it’ll help you sure?”
“Can you grab my hand first?”
There’s no way Kiana’s dignity and pride will ever recover from this but it felt so worth it and well why not try to get the best out of it too.She wanted to badly shut her eyes tight from embarrassment stealing another glance just in time to see the president flashing her a shy smile while reaching out her hand grabbing it awkwardly as if preparing for a formal handshake before squeezing it.
The butterflies on her stomach runs amok seizing her opportunity she squeezed back then proceed to use her other hand to grab her chair pushing it towards Fu Hua to sit more “comfortably” once she’s settled.
Kiana interwined her fingers together giving it another squeeze looking up at Fu Hua are with a satisfied smile,finally going back to finish up her work or maybe purposely drag this out to hold the warm hand in hers just for a little more longer….
“Thanks”
“No problem”
Fu Hua felt her ears flushed red despite doing her best to keep her stoic façade on.It felt odd, but good it sent her heart flutter on exhilaration.
After a while or a few minutes Kiana felt her eyelids grow heavy her mind started to lose the focus needed to study and the warmth sitting beside her definitely didn’t help in staying awake,her mind faintly wondered why of all students the stoic class President is warm and too comfortable.
This is Fu Hua’s fault how dare she look handsome and warm to snuggle while they’re studying.She sat up straighter,gripped her pen tighter determined to finish her work today so can play video games tomorrow but maybe she can rest her eyes for a sec or two….
Fu Hua felt a weight pressed on her side putting a stop on her reading,she looked on her side to see Kiana unsurprisingly sleeping with her head leaned on her shoulder yet her hand remained stubbornly wrapped hers,glancing down at their table to see Kiana’s work mostly done a bit rough but still decent enough to pass.
Fu hua removed her glasses,starting to pack up one handed, while simultaneously making sure Kiana remains asleep.Once their things are all packed up,she checked to see if the “good student” decided to wake up as expected she still hasn’t and Fu Hua really didn’t want to wake her up sleeping while wearing a peaceful expression,looks adorable with her right cheek pushed up leaning on her shoulder,she squeezed Kiana’s hand then started to reluctantly pry it off.
She can’t carry Kiana one handed afterall.Nevermind she can but it won’t be comfortable,strapped with two bagpacks on her back,Fu Hua bent down,pushed Kiana’s bangs up then pressed a soft kiss on her forehead then began slip her hands behind Kiana’s knees and shoulder,walking out of the library with a job well done to their dormitory to finally get their well deserved rest.
