Two siblings held a tight bond since the start, born in a village; living life to the fullest,
until their futures were split into two.
Tenma Saki, was destined to live in royalty. Overtime, she had morphed the world into her control; and her enemy.
Tenma Tsukasa, destined to the peasant life, learning mannerisms and to work for royalty.
But they wouldn't be split forever, eventually; fate brought them back together. Even after they've been apart, they still held onto that tight bond.
And Tsukasa would do anything to keep it.

One day, he was walking through town, going to shop for some ingredients. Except..He actually had no idea where the shop was.
That's when he saw her; a beautiful princess in green, with a knight in blue.
He nervously walked up to her.
"Excuse me..do you know where the shop is?"
She turned around and smiled, he felt himself fall in love.
"It's around the corner to your right."
"T-Thank you very much!" He quickly bowed, but as he was about to turn away, she continued to speak.
"Say..I have never seen you around before. What is your name?"
"Ah- My name is Tsukasa Tenma.."
"Tenma, huh.." She muttered, giving an unreadable look before smiling again, "What a lovely name."
"My name is Kusanagi Nene, next to me is Hoshino Ichika. It's a pleasure to meet you."
Ichika just nodded, not saying a word.
"It's a pleasure to meet you too. I must head off now! I need to get ingredients for my sister."
He bowed once more before turning around and walking away.
"..His sister, huh." Ichika scowled watching the boy walk away.
"He's that queens brother. Or rather, her servant."
"I realized that when he said his name." Nene frowned.
"And while thats true..I don't really think he's that bad."
"Nene, you shouldn't be so nice about everyone. Especially peopled related to the queen."
She sighed, "I guess you're right.."
Tsukaa couldn't stop thinking about the princess the whole time he was out.

He returned back to the castle after a few hours, usually Saki would've smiled and greeted him, but she was nowhere to be seen.
So, he put everything away and went upstairs, as he got closer he could hear sobbing through her bedroom door.
He quickly opened the door, he rushed over to Saki who was sobbing into her pillow.
"Saki! Are you okay?!" He sat down next to her and lifted her head, wiping away her tears.
"Of course n-not!" She cried, "That stupid princess.."
"Huh, what princess?"
"Princess Kusanagi of course! I want nothing more then to be with that knight..Hoshino.."
"B-But she!-" Saki sobbed again.
Tsukasa embraced her into a hug, she sobbed into his shoulder till she ran out of tears to cry.
She then said in a low voice, "Tsukasa, I need you to do me something."
"Of course, what is it?"
"I want you to get rid of that princess, I don't care what you do..Just get rid of her."
oh.
Tsukasa didn't say anything for a moment, he let go of the hug, Saki just stared at him; waiting for an answer.
The princess..The one he fell in love with at first sight, he didn't want to. But..
He swallowed his heartache and stared at Saki, giving her a sad smile.
"Of course."

The next day, he wrote a letter to princess, asking her to meet outside at night.
They soon met up, Tsukasa held a knife behind his back.
"You wanted to talk about somethng?" The princess smiled, he couldn't even look at her.
"Yes, I.."
He walked closer to her, almost letting out a sob.
"I'm sorry- I'm so sorry."
"What do you mean..?"
He walked closer to her, holding out the knife.
"W-Wait! What are you doing?!" She cried.
"Don't come any closer..Y-You don't have to do this!"
All her gorgeous green was soon masked by red.

Upon hearing the princesses murder, the people finally had enough. They would attack the castle and kill the queen.
Both were aware of this, in which Tsukasa had an idea.
As the people charged towards the castle, Tsukasa pulled Saki away from the windows, into her room.
"Let me have one of your dresses, we shall switch roles."
"NO! Are you crazy?!"
"Saki please..I don't want you to suffer."
"But..But!- I don't want you to die.." Saki cried.
Tsukasa just smiled, "It'll be okay, take my clothes and cape. Run away from here and don't come back."
Saki hesitantly nodded, going over to her closet.
Both were soon in their outfits, the people were right outside the door.
"Tsukasa..You don't have to-"
"I already told you, it's okay. As long as you're safe, then I'm happy."
He turned away from Saki, going towards the castle doors.
"Now go through the back door, flee to the village."
And that's what she did, the last thing she saw was the knights sword at her brothers neck, he didn't fight back whatsoever.

Today was the day, the execution of the queen.
Tsukasa had been in prison for a few weeks now, while Saki had hid in the village.
Now today, she had to see her brother die.
She shoved her way through the crowd, it seems the whole village had come to watch.
She ended up right in front, just as Tsukasa's head was shoved into the guillotine.
The crowd cheered, there was a man looking at Tsukasa.
"Any last words?"
Tsukasa looked right at Saki and smiled,
"Ah, it's tea time!"
And just like that, his head was chopped off. The crowd cheered loudly.
Saki could nothing but stare in horror, she felt tears roll down her face.
Everyone soon began to leave, she wanted too as well; but her feet just wouldn't move. All she could do was stare.
The crowd had emptied out, and she finally was able to move.
As she walked, someone tapped her shoulder. She turned around to see Ichika and Rui.
"Hello, you must be Tenma's brother." Rui spoke.
"Oh, yeah..I am." Saki tried to talk as quietly as she could, hoping they wouldn't notice anything off.
"We would like to apologize," Ichika replied, "I know you and the queen must've been close. You're siblings, right?"
"Yes, we were."
"Fufu I see..Well, we offer our condolences. If you wish, you may stay in one of our shelter homes."
"There's no point in being in the castle anymore after all."
She thought about it, "That..Would be appreciated, I suppose."
"Very well then, we'll see you around." The two of them waved goodbye and walked away. Saki began to walk the opposite way.
As she walked, she thought about what time they had together. How he always made her snacks and dinner fresh from the kitchen, how they always hung out together when they could outside the castle, how he always tried to make her laugh with his plays, and how he dreamt of maybe becoming a star one day; even if it was impossible.
And even after his death, they still held that tight bond.
