Chapter Text
October 31, 1981
“HARRY!” sobbed a woman into the rain as she ran down the street, her wet hair blinding each step she took forward. Her eyes, a vivid green even in the moonlight, were marred with stinging tears and battering rain drops. She screamed the further her legs took her. It was only when the dark shadow of the street intersection broke her path that she stopped.
On the tarmac of the road, a woman fell to her knees and cried up to an unforgiving sky. She screamed again.
“HARRY!”
And again.
“HARRY!”
And again.
“HARRY!”
And again.
And again.
And again.
Blood from her grazed knees flowed freely down the street, taking her pleas with it.
