Work Text:

The body that I hit with the frying pan in my hand crumpled to the ground. The intruder is no doubt knocked out cold, especially since I also kicked him in the ribs and he had not moved in any indication of pain. I licked my lips; the intruder is starting to bleed from his head.

“Misha?” I turned to the person who was calling out to me. In the kitchen doorway was my roommate, Sebation Lee, who was rubbing his eyes to try to get rid of his drowsiness. I watched his expression change as he took in the sight of an unknown male knocked out in our kitchen behind the kitchen island and me holding a slightly bloodied frying pan, standing in front of our fridge. His eyes glowed red as he realized he could smell the blood that was leaking out of the intruder’s head, I could even see his canine teeth sharpen even from where I am standing. “I… smell… blood…,” With his pale skin, lean physique, and fluffy black hair; Sebastian is quite handsome if he was not making quite the terrifying face or his eyes glowing a bright red in a hungry haze.

“Well, I did launch myself off the top of the fridge to maximize my hit strength,” I smirked and held up my weapon to show off the bloodied frying pan. Sebastian was staring intently at the bloodied frying pan, the hungry look on his face made me wonder if he could restrain himself to help me drag the intruder downstairs. “Sebastian~” He was in a trance. I think I have to wake up Shiraishi for help, though, she is probably already awake from the bloody smell too. I huffed and walked towards Sebastian, wrapping my arms around him, I then dragged him with me to the basement.

Upon opening the basement and going downstairs, after laying Sebastian on the bench next to the basement door, I called out to Shiraishi.

“I doubt you’re still sleeping, especially since there is blood all over the kitchen floor,” I heard a thump then a click of the light switch that turned the single light in the basement. The light shows me a room with a couple of shelves and boxes for storage and three doors. Standing next to the light switch was Shiraishi Ton, my other roommate, whose eyes are also glowing red though her sclera are slowly turning black. Soft long brown hair and a petite build; Shiraishi is a cute girl that could outlift a bodybuilder and more. I smiled at the roommate who I do not see often because of her night job. “So, as you know, we have a body upstairs, still alive, and Sebastian doesn’t look like he can control himself,” Shiraishi gave me a thumbs up to gesture that she understood what I was asking her to do. She left the basement to drag the intruder downstairs, as she is doing that, I dragged Sebastian to his room and made him lie down to cool off.

I regroup with Shiraishi in the basement to make plans on what we should do with our intruder.

“Do you think he is safe for you to eat and drink for Sebastian?” I asked, Shiraishi shrugged. I hummed “Ollie is more knowledgeable in this area, “

We could text him, ” Shiraishi signed.

“He’s probably asleep right now,” Shiraishi nodded and started to sign something in response before we heard a thump in another room. We looked at each other and I sneered, “Looks like the intruder is awake,” Shiraishi followed me as I entered the basement room that holds the intruder. His screams are muffed thanks to the gag that Shiraishi placed on him. He then glared at me when he saw me and tried to lunge too however he was secured to the chair Shiraishi tied him to. “Hello intruder~” I smirked, he muffed something in response but was frozen as he looked behind me, my smirk turned into a grin. I licked my lips; he is scared of Shiraishi as no doubt he noticed her eyes and her large, black, claws with glowing red veins that replace her petite hands.

“I see that you have noticed my roommate here,” His eyes turned back to me, he is trembling now. “What a hateful and judgemental person you are,” I tilted my head and smiled with my teeth, the intruder frozen. I licked my lips; he realized his mistake. “I don’t appreciate you trying to burn this house of ours down,” His pupil dilated in fear. Maybe I should bully him a bit before handing him off to Ollie.

I watched the sunrise from my kitchen after cleaning up the mess from last night. Ollie came to pick up the intruder an hour ago to test him for Shiraishi and Sebastian; I wonder what Shiraishi is planning for him. I licked my lips.

“How are you feeling Sebastian?” I turned to the doorway and like last night, Sebastian was standing in the doorway of the kitchen, I waved at him to come to sit next to me at the kitchen island.

“Fine, sorry I wasn’t much help,” Sebastian apologized and I waved him off, “Anyways, what happened last night?”

“There was an intruder,” I replied.

“I get that much but why was he here?” Sebastian questioned.

“To kill me by burning our house down,” I sardonically sneered, looking away from Sebastian.

“...What the f-,” There was a thump from the basement that interrupted Sebastian and he glared at the floor, “fuck.” There was a loud thump that followed Sebastian's curse word.

“A monster the neighbors whispered about me,” I said.

“Enough to hate you?” Sebastian asked.

“Enough to attract the ears of an entitled twat,” I propped my arms on the kitchen island to lean my head on my arms and made direct eye contact with Sebastian. “He won’t be the last though,” I can see his pupils turned into slits, out of anger probably.

“Wait…has this been happening before me and Shiraishi moved in with you?” Sebastian questioned.

“Yep,” I replied.

“Damn,” Sensation and I ignored the thump that followed.

“I’m not alone at least, poor Connor is harassed at least once a week,” I reassured.

“Who the fuck is Conner?” Sebastian asked, Shiraishi might get up to hit Sebastian at this rate.

“He lives three houses to the right,” I replied.

“Three houses to the right…wait, I thought that house was abandoned?” Sebastian’s eyebrows furrowed in confusion. “Like, isn’t that house used by teenagers as a test of courage shit?”

“It is, Conner is squatting in the basement,” I giggled, “He calls me every time teenagers entered the house,”

“Wait! Is he the rumored tentacle monster in the basement!?” Sebastian stood up from his seat.

“Yep,” I smiled.

“Oh my god!” Sebastian yelled.

“Aren’t you an atheist and a vampire?” I teased.

“...” Sebastian gave me a deadpanned look. “I’m going back to bed,” Sebastian sounded like an annoyed teenager, he flipped me the bird as I giggled and he walked out of the kitchen. “and who the fucked names a tentacle shadow monster, Conner?” Sebastian mumbled. I stood up from my seat to head back into my bedroom. Walking past the mirror, which was next to the staircase that leads to the second floor where Sebastian’s and my room are at, I stared at my reflection. Short white hair, candy red eyes, pale skin, and sharp black nails: I licked my lips, a forked tongue too. I am a monster though and though.

Notes:

Context:
This story was about the reptilian person, Misha, and her roommates, Sebastian Lee the vampire and Shiraishi Ton the ghoul. I hope that throughout the story the reader would get that the three were not human and through Misha's habit of licking her lips and near the end that they realize Misha was a reptile. I also implied that there were many attempts of people trying to burn her house down but Misha knows that there will be many more attempts.

(What are the chances of my classmate finding this?)
