Love virus

Summary:

Moon has a virus, it transfers over to his organic body but instead of being controlling again he just fucks real good.

Notes:

Sun's body is based on my real life body and also i was thinking when they created him they were going for like, a motherly vibe for daycare work. motherly vibes to me are the slightly overweight ladies that take everyone in no matter what and thats where im basing sun from! Moon apologizes first, they kinda make up ambiguously then he feeds sun. (also suns clothes are based on things i'd wear) will be posting more on the leviathan story soon!

Chapter 1: the beginning

Chapter Text

~Sun~

Walking into the Daycare alone for the first time ever made him unbelievably sad. Deep, deep down he knew Moon was broken beyond repair. That he needed to go but for Sun to have gotten this new lease on life, an organic life thanks to Fazbears lack of ethics, while Moon got tosses in the trash made Sun feel like trash. It was unfair to both of them. He takes a deep, deep breath to steady himself. He wasn’t actually sure they had gotten rid of Moon after all. But no one had said a word to him about the situation when he asked. And he asked so many times that they locked him in the dark for two days to get him to stop. (Mysteriously those two workers disappeared and Sun got new techs that were not helpful with Moon but more friendly.) So, he concludes, Moon has to be gone, right?

As soon as the doors to the Daydare are shut Sun drops to the floor with his knees pulled up to his chest and cries.

He shouldn’t be sad. Moon had forced him into isolation for months, the only people he was allowed to talk to, besides Moon, were staff and the Daycare children. But he knew Moon had a virus. A very, very, very bad one. It had corrupted his entire system, and for a while he stopped communicating with Sun. As soon as Sun realized this he put in a call to maintenance to get it fixed. They essentially told him Moon was being a jerk and not talking to him. He almost wishes Moon had just stayed away at that point. After the visit to parts and services that day Moon started talking to him again.

More like yelled at him, scolded him for involving parts and services.

Oh but that was just the beginning of it. Before the virus, they would go and hang out with the Glamrocks frequently. Then Sun told Freddy that Moon had a virus and they weren't getting rid of it (he could see it on his diagnostic scans). Only to have Moon come out and tell Freddy that it was harmless and parts and services had already checked it out. That Sun was just paranoid because it was the first real virus they had well, had. They all treated Sun like he was made of glass after that and he hated it. Then, Moon started keeping him away from the Glamrocks.

It started out small. Moon told him he just wanted to spend more alone time together, Sun agreed hoping he could convince Moon to get checked out more thoroughly. He couldn't. Sun had to watch as the virus got worse and worse and no one would help. No one could help him as Moon started guilting him into staying in the Daycare. Once Sun started to stay in the Daycare Moon started jamming his communication signals. Everything went through Moon first and the only things Sun saw were from management and Parts and Services. Sun had never felt so alone in his life at the time. Never in his five years of being alive did he ever feel so alone, aside from now, sitting on the cold Daycare floor. For a while he wouldnt do anything after he finished his duties for the day. Sometimes He’d sit and mourn for his boyfriend, even though he wasn't technically dead. He might as well have been at that point though, seeing as he wasn’t allowed to oversee the naptime anymore after he hurt a kid.

Poor little timmy didn't deserve that. He never came back after that but he’s got to be ok, because Moon wasn’t immediately scrapped.

He hiccups out a sob and curls tighter into himself. Oh he feels so bad for being excited to go to parts and service that day. He hates that he didn’t get to say good bye. Hates that the last thing they did before going was argue. There was really nothing to be done about it though.

“Sun?” Suns head jerks up at the voice, chest heaving with the voice of his sobs.

There , kneeling in front of him is Moon. he’s wearing a black crop top that has the word fuck on the front in the same pastel yellow that suns skin is. He has ripped up black jeans and black knee high boots with twelve buckles on each boot. It's just so, Moon like that Sun can’t help the smile on his face at the sight. He cries harder as Moon hesitantly reaches out to him, cringes and stops himself. It breaks his poor little already broken heart to bits.

“Look, I know I'm probably the last person you want to hear from but-” Sun cuts him off by launching himself into his arms.

“I thought you were dead!” he cries harder as he clings to the slightly taller male.

“Dead? Why would you think- oh.” Moon stops himself mid sentence and sighs. “It makes sense you’d think they scrapped me, but I assumed they’d tell you I was here.” Moon shuffles them into a seated position, his legs crossed and Sun wrapped around him like a Koala. He holds Sun close and runs a soothing hand up and down the direct center of his spine, like he knows he likes.

“They wouldn't tell me anything. I asked and I asked and I asked, over and over again and no one said a word about you to me! I-” he hiccups out a sob in the middle of his next sentence. “I thought they completely scrapped you and just didn't want to tell me.”

“What a bunch of dicks.” he sighs, pulling Sun even closer to him. “I owe you an apology. Multiple apologies, actually.”

“You don-” Moon pokes him on the nose, effectively shutting him up so Moon can continue.

“Don't start with the ‘you don't need to’ bullshit. The shit I pulled was awful and you didn't deserve any of it.” Sun opens his mouth, likely going to argue that he was sick and Moon sighs. “Yes, I know I had a virus at the time. I wasn’t in control for a long time. It fucking sucked. But if it sucked for me then it had to suck worse for you.” he sighs again.

“I know you didn't mean to Moonie, I tried to help, I did! But you wouldn’t let me.” he wipes his eyes and nuzzles into Moons neck. “I missed you, Moonie.”

“I missed you too, my sweet Sunflower.” he presses a kiss to Suns forehead in between two rays. “Let's get you upstairs and cleaned up. No offense but you smell like two day old soap.” Sun puffs out his cheeks at that.

Moon stands up, cradling Sun safely to himself, and he begins to walk towards a door in the wall. It's already open from when Moon came down earlier and it looks like you need to have a code to get in. He was taken upstairs to a nice little apartment area. Much butter than the trash heap of a single room they used to have. Moon walks through the living room and down a hallway with three doors.

Sun's stomach gurgles urgently.

“I'll make you something to eat while you shower.” Moon says, sitting him on his feet in front of a yellow door. “Bathroom is the lavender, lilac? door and this is your room.” he opens the door, pats sun on the back and walks off.

Sun misses the way Moon's eyes turn purple very briefly when the door is opened. The room is a wreck with boxes of things everywhere so he doesn't bother to try and take in the room. He just hunts down an outfit and goes to take a shower. Maybe there's a chance they can come back from the virus and suns determined to find the way.
