Eri sounded so excited when she called him on the phone. She said that her father finally finished developing a new game and gave a copy of the game to her. When he arrived, she showed him a new game that her father helped create. He looked at the cover with interest. The cover had a few guys, girls, and …was that a superhero?!
“Wait, wait, wait. You can date a superhero?!” Hideyoshi shouted as he looked at Eri in shock.
She shrugged her shoulders. “I guess so. It seems like the main character really admires this guy. It isn’t too surprising to have an idol option.”
Hideyoshi looked at the cover carefully. It seems that there is a thin sickly blond person hiding in the superhero’s shadows. He narrowed his eyes to look closely at the details.
“Is that a senior in the background?! We can date old people too?!” He jerked his head back from the cover to stare at her in horror.
“Love transcends beyond something as simple as age.” Eri giggled as she looks at his reaction.
“See? You can even date animals too!” She points at the cover where there was a cute (dog, mouse, bear?) mascot waving its’ paw at them.
“?????”
‘That’s got to be a joke…right?’ Hideoyoshi thought before grimacing. Eri’s father did have an odd sense of humor. It sounds plausible.
Eri just laughed as she put the disc into the gaming console.
He smiled and laughed at some of the choice options that Eri picked. The universe of the game was fascinating. If it wasn’t a dating sim game, he would’ve thought that it would have been a great RPG game. Everyone’s powers were so interesting and unique! The main character especially! It was so powerful that one punch could destroy his own arm! A strength power isn’t uncommon in video games, but at least this game showed that it’s not an easy power to use.
After a few hours of watching Eri play the game, Hideyoshi concluded that the dating sim aspect wasn’t as bad as he thought. The game revealed that there was a traitor hiding in UA. Since the main character is involved in a lot of these cases, it seems suspicious to a few people that the main character manages to get out alive without any major injuries each time (not counting the injuries he caused to himself).
At the end of the first semester, the hero commission will accuse the main character of being the traitor. By developing the relationships between him and his classmates and teachers, he will have evidence and testimonies from them to counter these claims. It is not required for the main character to be in romantic relationship, but it doesn’t mean the player can slack off befriending his classmates or else he would be put into prison for life. Sounds very drastic for a high school drama if Hideyoshi must say, but these types of games always have some kind of impending doom in the horizon.
While Hideyoshi thought the game was pretty cool, he didn’t think that one day he would be transported into that universe. Unfortunately, he wished that he didn’t have to die and leave Eri and his mom all alone.
Sorry Mom. Sorry Eri-chan. Please find it in your hearts to forgive me.
The game starts off when the main character entered UA and meets the girl that he saved in the introduction so please tell him why he was transmigrated into middle school? And why was he quirkless? He has the main character’s name, so he should have the super strength quirk. This doesn’t really make sense. Will this be like Spiderman or the Flash and he gets a superpower by punched by the strongest person? Oh my god, does he get powers by getting punch by All Might while being radioactive or something?! Is that why in the game All Might is mentoring him? He’s so excited right now. When will he meet All Might?
He was jolted out of his daydream by Bakugou grabbing onto his school uniform and burning his shoulder with his quirk.
‘What the fu—’ He was roughly pushed away from Bakugou as he was being scoffed at.
‘What crawled up his ass and died?’ He thought as he watched his “childhood friend” walked away after throwing his notebook away and telling him to go kill himself. ‘Wow, that guy needs THERAPY!’
He sighed as he grabbed his remaining items and walked outside to where his notebook was. Strangely enough, all of the students and teachers with the exception of Bakugou and his lackeys looked like his original classmates from middle school. It was weird to see his real mom in this world with green hair this morning but now seeing all of his old classmates with quirks was surprising and confusing at the same time. He wonders who else he will be able to recognize in this world. He hopes that they will also have the same names, so he won’t accidentally call them out by the incorrect name.
He grabbed his notebook from the pond and tried his best to wipe it down as best as he could while he walked home and wow, did he roll a 1 out of a D20 dice? He managed to get captured by some slimy villain and almost got choked to death. An experience he wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Zero out of five stars. This is a shitty first day in a new universe he must say.
When he awoke from his impromptu nap, he saw the bright smile of All Might?!? Okay, if getting choked to death lets him meet his favorite character then it was worth it. Highly recommended actually. He changed his rating of this experience to a three out of five stars. Review - Recommended, but not for everyone.
When All Might tried to run away after he placed the captured villain into his pocket, he couldn’t help himself and flung himself towards All Might and caught one of his legs as All Might jumped high into the sky.
They manage to land without any injuries, and he watched All Might deflated to that familiar old man in the cover of the video game. He gasped in happiness and couldn’t helped himself. He blurted out, “Woah! You’re All Might?!!”
“Shh young man!” The thin weakly All Might shushed him.
“Ah, sorry.”
He sighed in relief. Okay, so the old man on the cover isn’t just some random old person he could potentially date. Thank goodness.
Wow, All Might was older than he thought! Eri was right. Love really does transcend beyond age. Of course, he’s not going to try to make this into a romantic relationship, but he will definitely make his bond with All Might his first priority to max out! Usually after a side character is maxed out, they will be left forgotten in the background. Hideyoshi is guilty of this himself, but he will not allow this to happen with All Might! He would spend all day and night with him if All Might allows it!
~After the USJ attack~
“Hello dear students! Am I a dog, mouse, or bear? Nope! I’m the Principal!” The creature cheerfully stated as it entered their homeroom.
‘Oh my god, I can date the principal?!’ Izuku banged his head on the table as the rest of the students murmured to each other.
~Shopping mall~
After Shigaraki kidnapped Izuku and they had their conversation.
“You interest me Midoriya Izuku.”
‘Relationship with Shigaraki leveled up!’
‘Uh, what the f—'
“Uh, yeah. Good talk.” Izuku murmured, mentally freaking out.
‘I can date villains?! I don’t need a man-child in my life thank you very much. What next, a yandere?’
A faint sneeze could be heard off into the distance.
“Oh, come on!” Izuku yelled out as Uraraka spotted them and started running towards them.
