Deka Emergency! Rescue Kairi Yano!

Summary:

Being sent to the world where aliens and humans co-exist with one another is really baffling; however, what Keiichiro and the others didn't expect was that a sick Kairi gets taken by Zamigo to said world. Will both teams save him in time?

Chapter Text

It was quiet in the city streets, the only sound that could be heard was the faint echoes of cars driving by the lonely streets and alleyways. Airplanes and helicopters could be heard from above.

The silence was soon interrupted by the blaring of sirens. A patrol cruiser was chasing after a cloaked figure, who had a large weapon sheathed on their back. The figure seemed to be very tall for a normal human being, they had a broad yet lean body type. The figure also looked to be very muscular; hence, the reason for the seemingly heavy weapon.

The police car comes to a stop, they get out of the car, and rush towards the figure. They stop about halfway, pulling out their guns, and pointing them at the unknown entity.

"Stop! You are under arrest in accordance to the law!" One of them shouts.

The figure comes to a halt, slowly turning around to face the officers. The policemen become terrified at the sight. They back away, tripping on their own two feet, and falling onto the ground. Their screams of fear seemed to be giving the figure power, making them stronger.

"Oya? What's wrong? Weren't you guys just being brave before? Now you're shaking in fear in front of me. Humans sure are weak."

"W-What are you?!" The second asks, voice trembling.

"What am I? I wish I could tell you; however, even if I did, you two won't live long enough to tell others."

.

.

.

Everything seemed to have fallen into complete silence, no sound was heard. Suddenly, a large explosion erupts into the sky, followed by screams of horror and pain.

The figure huffs, putting his weapon away.

"Hmph, weaklings."

The figure walks away, leaving no trace behind except for the burnt ashes of the officers, and some destroyed buildings. More sirens blare all around the city, lights within buildings turning on, and many other noises followed. It seems the city is now awake and the night will continue to be restless.

Chapter 2: Chapter 1 [W.I.P & Preview]

Notes:

So uh... Hi everyone? I know it's been months or so since I've updated any of my stories but I have good reasons! One being school, I haven't had time to write anything and two is that my motivation to write lately hasn't been what it used to be. So, to apologize for that, here is a preview of chapter 1 for this story. I'll most likely put this as my main focus now because it's just something that I've been itching to rework on. Also, I apologize for my bad 3rd person writing as I do better in 2nd and 1st person. But I'm trying! Anyway, enjoy what I have here and updates will come but very slowly though.

Chapter Text

It was another busy day at Bistro Jurer, customers kept coming in any time a table was free. A young girl dressed in yellow was waiting the tables, while a tall male in blue cooked in the kitchen. The young girl managed to finally catch a small break from going table to table. She leans over the counter, letting out a huge sigh of relief.

"Ah mou!" She whines, "Where is Kairi?! His break ended about an hour ago!"

The male in blue grins, before handing the girl in yellow some plated foods.

"You know that he always does this, Umika. Plays hooky when the restaurant is busy with people."

Umika pouts, grabbing the plates, and taking them to their designated tables.

.

.

.

Meanwhile, the city was just as busy as the Bistro. People filled the streets, coming in and out of stores.

A young male wearing a simple knitted sweater, sat in a chair at a table. He was currently scrolling through his phone, looking at the latest news. His face skewered by a face mask, only revealing his eyes and up. His face seemed sickly and small coughs escaped his mouth.

"Kairi-Kun?"

Kairi turns to face a man, who was dressed in a regular suit and a trench coat. In his hand was the daily newspaper and a can of coffee.

"Kei-Chan." Kairi responded, his voice hoarse.

Keiichiro winces at the sound of Kairi's voice, he pulls up a chair, and sits beside the younger male.

"Kairi-Kun, are you alright? You sound sick."

"That's because I am sick." Kairi answered nonchalantly.

This sent Keiichiro into work mode, checking Kairi's temperature, and making sure the latter wasn't running a fever. Kairi swats at Kei-Chan's hand, letting out a huff of annoyance.

"Thank goodness, you don't have a fever."

"Tch. Don't treat me like a kid. Geez, you remind me of my brother."

"Really? Hm, guess we're both worry warts for you." Keiichiro chuckled.

"Never mind... You aren't similar to my brother after all." Kairi sighed.

"What does that mean?!" Keiichiro huffs.

"Exactly what it means." Kairi retorts, looking away from the officer.

Keiichiro sighs, placing a hand on Kairi's shoulder. In turn, Kairi looks at the officer, a faint blush hidden behind the face mask.

"Kairi, as a friend and officer, I advise you to go home straight away. Your health is of the utmost importance to me."

"Importance my ass. If you cared half as much you wouldn't bother me..." He mumbled under his breath.

"What was that, Kairi?"

"Nothing," Kairi rolled his eyes.

Keiichiro sighs, his earpiece buzzes, slightly jolting from the sound. Kairi tried to listen in on what the other was saying, he knew it had to do with a Ganglar, so at this moment, he was trying to get some information.

"Zamigo?! Alright, I'll be there right away!"

Kairi perked up upon hearing Keiichiro say Zamigo. Keiichiro stands up, putting the chair back in it's rightful place under the table.

"Sorry, Kairi, but I got called in."

"Alright. Well, I hope to see you at the Bistro after work right?"

"Yep, I also expect to hear that you're resting when we get back."

"Alright, fine. Now get going! Don't make me take your VS Changer! I will use it again like last time."

"Har har! Very funny, now get going. Duty calls me."

"Adieu, Omawari-San!"

Keiichiro smiles before running off, making sure to throw away his coffee can, and the newspaper. Kairi grins quietly following after the police officer, he had sent the other two a quick message about Zamigo appearing. It was good timing as well because they had just finished up with the rush hour and were closing up shop for the afternoon. He puts his phone back inside his pocket, a mischievous smirk on his face.

"Heh, sorry Kei-Chan. But, I'm not listening to you this time. Zamigo is mine."

.

.

.

"ZAMIGO! DON'T MOVE!"

"Oto! Why, if it isn't the GSPO Officers~ How touching."

"What are you up to Zamigo?!" Keiichiro shouts.

"What am I up to? Oh my, that is very cold~ Even for a hot-headed policeman like you."

Kairi hides behind a group of boxes, he had managed to take some medication so that he could at least feel a tiny bit better. He lets out a few coughs, but kept them quiet. He kept a keen eye on Zamigo, making sure to act quick if he needed to.

"Hm?"

Zamigo grins before suddenly disappearing and reappearing right behind Kairi.

"Oh~ Who do we have here?"

"Shit..."

Zamigo grabs Kairi by his throat, picking him up with one hand. Kairi struggles to get out of his grip and with him being sick, it put him at a disadvantage.

"Well well well, if it isn't Red-Chan~"

Kairi snarls, baring his teeth as if he were some wild animal.

"KAIRI-KUN!" Keiichiro shouts.

Zamigo grins.

"So this person is important to you huh? Well, I do enjoy taking the loved ones of others."

A portal opens up behind Zamigo.

"With this, I bid you farewell, Patrangers, adios~"

He steps into the portal, taking Kairi with him. Keiichiro tries to go after them, the portal closing before he could make it through in time. Keiichiro rolls along the concrete and into a brick wall. Both Sakuya and Tsukasa make their way over to him, making sure their hot-headed friend was alright.

"Senpai! Are you alright?!"

"I'm fine, Sakuya."

"This is bad! Kairi-Kun got taken..." Tsukasa states, a slight hint of panic in her voice.

"How are we going to explain this to the others?"

"I don't know. But we better report back to Commander Hilltop. I'm betting that he wants a full report of this incident."

Little did they know that Umika and Toma had witnessed the entire thing. They were very worried about Kairi because they know that Kairi would have normally been able to at least get out of a Ganglar's grip if he was ever in civilian form, so something had to have been wrong with Kairi.

.

.

.

After reporting to Commander Hilltop, Keiichiro and the others went to report the incident to Toma and Umika. This is what happened...

"What?! Kairi was taken?!" Umika gasped, faking a surprised face.

"It was our fault for not acting quick enough. Especially me, I should have made sure he got home before joining Sakuya and Tsukasa in going after the Ganglar. I'm sorry," Keiichiro apologized.

This made all of them pause and look at Keiichiro in confusion.

"What do you mean, Keiichiro?" Tsukasa asked.

"When I ran into him this morning, he told me that he was sick. Naturally I told him to return back here but then I got the call from you two. He told me that he would go back home and I trusted him on that."

"How sick was he?" Asked Toma.

"Not too bad, but now that he's been taken. I'm sure he'll get worse if we don't get him back soon."

"This is bad..."

"We trust you in saving and bringing Kairi back safely." Toma says.

"Of course, you can count on us." Sakuya salutes.

Umika smiles before hugging Sakuya.

"Thank you! We'll make you guys our special when you return!"

"U-Uhm! Y-You really don't have to do that!" Tsukasa said.

"But, we're friends aren't we? You guys are doing us a favor and in turn, we'll return it."

"What are friends for, right?!" Sakuya smiles.

Sakuya's face was bright red, the other three, minus Umika, couldn't help but snicker.

"We'll be heading out now. Have a good night you two."

"Same goes for you three!"

The Patorangers leave the Bistrot, which allow Umika and Toma to take a huge sigh of relief. Umika looks at Toma, before placing her hands on his shoulders, and shaking him back and fourth.

"Toma! What do we do?!"

"I- I don't know..."

"Well, that was certainly a conversation."

Umika and Toma turn around to see Kogure sitting at one of the tables. He was looking through the Lupin Collection Book, seeing which ones were left to be collected.

"Kogure-San!" The both of them gasped in surprise.

Kogure looks at them and smiles his usual smile. He closes the book and locks it up tight.

"What are you doing here?"

"Well, I came to give you all your next mission; however, it seems plans have changed." He stated calmly.

"What do you mean?"

"Well, after overhearing your conversation from earlier, I'm deciding to give you guys a break. That is, until you can save Kairi-Kun."

"But we don't even know where he is."

"You might as well start looking for him then. Have a good night you two."

With that, Kogure leaves. Umika and Toma look at each other before letting out a heavy sigh, tomorrow was going to be a very long day.

.

.

.

"Kaitou? What are you doing here?!" Shouts Keiichiro.

It was the next day, both Umika and Toma had dropped by the GSPO headquarters to discuss things with the police. Kogure had also joined them, posing as 'Lupin Red'.

"Don't read into it too much." Toma said calmly.

Keiichiro moves forward slightly, holding his VS Changer at both Lupinrangers.

"Keiichiro-Kun! Why don't we here them out, yes?"

Keiichiro looks back at Noel, before clicking his tongue in annoyance. He lowers his VS Changer before putting it away. Noel smiles before walking over to Toma, Umika, and 'Lupin Red.'

"You may speak now."

Toma nods.

"We oversaw what happened the other day with that friend of yours."

Keiichiro and the others look at each other before looking at the other three.

"We know what it's like to loose someone important. So, we're willing to help you get him back."

"Blue is right! But we'll only do this one time and one time only!"

Keiichiro balls his hand up into a fist before ultimately sighing.

"Fine, but only this once."

"Good, then we have a temporary truce?"

"Yes."

"Since that's all, we'll take our leave now. Adieu~"

The three Lupinrangers leave and head back to the Bistrot, leaving a confused Patranger team alone in their office.

"WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!"

.

.

.

"Thanks Kogure-San, we owe you one."

"It's no problem, Umika-Chan. Just doing what I can in Kairi-Kun's absence. Now, best of luck to you all."

Umika and Toma nod, cleaning the place up a bit, before closing shop. They leave a sign saying that they went on holiday and wouldn't be back for a bit. Little did they know that this was only the beginning of something much bigger.

.

.

.

The muffled sound of chatter and music echo through Kairi's ears as he slowly comes to, blinking open his eyes.
