Work Text:

Narcissa Black Malfoy loves Draco with all her heart. He's her little dragon, the constellation she looks for every night. Still, she wished upon all the stars in the galaxy. She begged for years for another chance.

Narcissa looked for any means to first cure him and then, when the time came, to bring him back to life; ancient runes, rituals, spells. Followed any rumours of illegal time turners built in the farthest of continents. She left her home, never to return. She dreamt of seeing his molten grey eyes again.

Narcissa's journey took her to a quaint bookstore in Australia, owned by a young witch. She was a singular person, some called her the brightest witch of her age. She came looking for answers, the means to see him just once; in its stead she found something better: a reason to live, to grieve... to move on.

Narcissa Black Malfoy loved Draco with all her heart. He was her little dragon, the constellation she and Lyra look for every night.

Notes:

Thank you so much for reading. I posted it on twitter a couple of months ago but it had actually been sitting on my notes for a long time before that. Chels gave me the courage to post it here for all to see, thank you as always for your support!

English is not my first language and I didn't have a Beta reader so any mistakes are all my own. Leave a comment if you feel up to it!
