While Minho danced, lost in himself, someone else was watching.
Seungmin.
He observed every movement—not with judgment, but with understanding. He felt the pain in Minho’s every motion, the silent screams of his mind. He longed to hold him, to shield him from the wounds no one else could see.
Unlike the crowd, Seungmin saw Minho. He saw the curve of his muscles, the flex of his arms—but more than that, he saw the invisible bleeding, the weight crushing him from the inside.
When Minho collapsed, his body aching, his mind torn to shreds, he barely noticed Seungmin at first. And then he felt it—arms wrapping around him, holding him tighter than any thought could.
And for the first time in years, the unbearable weight on his chest lifted.
As they sat together, Minho’s body went limp. The pain he had carried alone poured out of him, uncontrolled, sobs wracking his frame. It was painful to watch, even for Seungmin.
And then, before his mind could form the words, Seungmin spoke:
“Hyung… I’m here. It’s okay. It’s okay. I got you.”
He whispered into Minho’s ear, holding him close, letting him know that he didn’t have to hide. That it was alright to be in pain.
In that moment, time stopped. Even the air seemed motionless, as Seungmin held him, as he let Minho finally be seen.
