Chapter Text
Julia Black, Twin sister of Jacob Black. Daughter of Billy Black and his now dead wife. Aggressive and always ready to fight or party.
She stood before her supposed father as he talked to her angrily, she rolls her eyes clenching her jaw as to not say something hurtful to the man. She looks down at him before he sighed loudly "I was able to get you enrolled at Forks, you'll be starting after the weekend. You better not get in trouble again"
She raised her eyebrows "No." she said appalled, that was like an hour away on the bike.
"Yes. Now go to bed"
She groans softly before doing as said however she actually just jumped out her window and ran into the forest, it always gave her a sense of freedom. She breaths in the smell of the forest, she could smell the upcoming rain and it only made her smile more. She walks a bit further until dropping herself down onto a log and looking up at the stars. She sighs softly knowing she had to eventually return home.
After two hours she made her way back after nearly falling asleep in the forest and climbs in through her window getting into bed after cleaning her bare feet, she drops onto the bed and found herself in dream land.

She held the bookbag tightly, it was nearly completely broken but her father didn't care. She steps of her bicycle locking it and pulling a hand through her hair, it wasn't super long but just below her shoulder. She looks around at the people staring at her, she rolls her eyes and walks to the front desk silently.
Some guy walks into her "Watch where you're going" She clenched her jaw angrily not adding the 'Fucking cunt' that was on the tip of her tongue, she walks past him and continues her journey.
"Hey" She greets the lady behind the front desk who looks up
"Julia Black?" The lady guessed and the Black nodded
"Call me Jules." She got her schedule and everything before giving her a note so that she wouldn't have to attend gym today since her gym clothes came in tomorrow.
"Can I not wear my old highschool gym clothes?"
The woman debated it for a little before nodding and changing the note, Julia smiled politely "Just get your teacher to sign them and hand it in after your classes" Julia nods again before saying goodbye and leaving the rather small room, people seemingly making a path for her to go through automatically. Seems word travels fast.
She found a rather beautiful girl and walks up to her "Hey, could you help me find my classes?" She asks giving her a rather charming smile, the girl blushed pushing her glasses up a little
"Yeah sure, what class do you have?" Julia handed her the schedule she got and the asian girl scans it quickly
"We have nearly every class together" Julia smiles
"Well seems I went up to the right person."
Julia held out her hand randomly "Julia, or call me Jules" The girl took the hand smiling
"Angela"
Julia grins "A beautiful name Angel" She tips her imaginary hat "Lead the way" Angela nods before walking to the classroom Julia beside her
"I didn't see you come in with a car?" Angela questions
"Right I had to go on my bicycle" Julia shrugs pulling the backpack up a little, she could hear it tear a little more and clenches her jaw anger running through her but she pushed it down
"That's like an hour away!" Angela says shocked and Julia just nods, they reached the classroom and Julia smiles at Angela not allowing her to further question it. Her smile fades as she looks at the classroom. Fuck school.
Angela walks in holding her books to her body as she quickly walks to her seat, Julia walks in and the classroom falls silent watching the new girl. She hands the paper she got to the teacher and he signs it appointing her a seat beside Mr Cullen. She rolls her eyes, Cullens right they'd be here. She sits down beside the blond haired male who seemed to be in pain and he seemed to stop breathing as she sits down.
She ignores him and looks at the ceiling, how the fuck did a pen get stuck there. She let out a quiet laugh and the male beside her raises an eyebrow, she points up and he looked up a small smile forming on his face seeing the pen randomly stuck there. The teacher quickly started the class and Julia was to busy on her phone to care. She was casually scrolling through Instagram liking a few posts here and there, Jasper stares at her for some part of the class until she angrily asked him to fuck off. The emotions she was feeling was very overwhelming for the empath and he immediately stopped not wanting to anger her more.
"Miss Black!" The teacher says finally noticing she was on her phone, she looks up
"What." She asks staring at the teacher who scoffs
"Phone away and focus on class" She nods putting a smile on her face until the teacher turned around again and she continues on her phone.
Finally when class ends she met up with Angela by the door and they went onto the next classes "Want to sit with my friend group at lunch?"
Julia nods "Sure, they nice?"
Angela shrugs "Jessica is a rather jealous type who wants the attention on her and loves gossip, Mike is nice but doesn't know no for an answer when asking someone out on a date, Lauren is a bit of a bitch" Angela blushed slightly after saying that "And Eric is really nice, he'll probably ask you if he can make you front page on the schoolpaper."
Julia nods "Well he'll be met with disappointment."
Classes till lunch were uneventful and boring, right after lunch she had gym with no one sadly but oh well. Julia sat at the lunch table looking around no interest for those who she sat with, Mike was irritating, Jessica and Lauren thought they were better then everyone and Eric was trying to get her into the paper. The Cullens walk in which didn't interest her at all, she didn't even look at them. She's never actually seen any of them since they aren't allowed on the reservation but she had to admit they were good looking. She'd seen them throughout the day, receiving a few glares from them. Probably history and shit, maybe those kid stories.
She sighs standing up "Where is gym I have that now" She could've sworn she heard one of the Cullens swore as if they heard this and disliked her
"Not interested in the Cullens?"
She shook her head "Family stuff." Angela was quick to give her the directions and she went off.
She shared gym with two Cullens, she felt drawn to one of them but ignored it. Her father would hate her even more if she even felt an a little bit attracted to them. She never looked at them ignoring them, she sat down on the side tying her shoes.
She stood out between all the Forks gym clothes with her La Push one, two people sit on either side of her and she tenses.
She looks to her left and immediately found the body of the bulky Cullen, her eyes only had to quickly look to the left knowing a certain blonde goddess was beside her. The teacher started the class making the two vampires unable to question her, or even get to know her. Julia only once locked eyes with Rosalie and it seemed to only irritate the blonde more, the human was out of there faster then the vampires who walked at a normal pace.

"Hey Chief!" Julia lights up a little hugging the awkward man, she had come with her dad and brother to sell him the truck. A bit bitter the truck would be going to his daughter instead of her but oh well.
She has been going to school on her bike for the last week and honestly it was exhausting, a few days now she just didn't come home and went to a spot she found with a waterfall. She usually passes out there and wakes up by the birds chirping happily, her father nor brother had commented on it. Maybe they hadn't even noticed.
Her clothes were dirty and so was she but she just smiled at Charlie "Buying this piece of junk?" She jokes and was met with a glare from her family
Charlie let out a soft laugh "It's big enough to keep Bels safe"
Julia smiles "I should get going home"
Charlie glares at her "No meet Bella first" Julia nods and leans against the truck as Charlie goes inside to call Bella down.
Julia looks at the door as it opens showing Bella, she gave her a friendly smile before Charlie and Billy started play fighting. Sort of.
Jacob walks up to Bella and Julia could swear she saw a faint blush on his cheeks, she chuckles softly and he glares at her. "We used to make mud pies together."
Bella nods "Right and Jules used to make fun of the mud on your face, which she'd then slap onto you."
Julia smiles "Hey you remember me" Bella rolls her eyes and Julia laughs, Charlie and Billy walk and roll back to the teens
"You like your welcome home gift?" He pats the truck and Bella's eyes widen in surprise
"What no way!"
Charlie nods "Just bought it of off Billy" Jacob goes to walk to the other side as Bella opens her door hitting him rather hard, she says a quick sorry before getting in as Jacob. In pain. Walks to the other side and got in as well.
Julia looks at the house she spend many nights in and had many 'dinners' in return she helped Charlie clean, redo Bella's room and even taught him how to cook a reasonable breakfast if he ever wanted to. "Oh.. it would be nice to know someone on my first day"
Julia looks at Bella "I go to the high school here in Forks" Julia says and Bella looks at her "So you'll know me" Bella looked rather pleased knowing now at least she won't be bullied, or else Julia will hit them if she was still the same after all those years
"Want a ride to school?" Bella offered and Julia smiles
"That would be amazing, I can meet you here in the morning?" Bella nods and Julia gives her a fist bump, Jacob looks at her jealous but said nothing of it.

Julia parks her bike in front of the Swan residence locking it before knocking on the door "Coming!" She could hear Bella say and she leans against the truck holding the old backpack tightly, she used some tape to keep it alive since it had died this morning. The straps were held together with the tape and all the holes were covered by it too, the bottom of the backpack had multiple layers on it to ensure no books fell out.
Her pants were torn on her knees as she had fallen this morning because her bike broke, she had to walk the rest of the way. Dried up blood was on her knees but she ignored it, the bike looked worse now as she had angrily kicked it and thrown it.
Bella exits the house and greets Julia softly, Julia gave her a smile before getting into the passenger seat.
"Don't worry Bella they're all below you" Julia jokes getting out the car "Now c'mon I'll show you the front desk, we have to be fast or Eric will find you" Bella sighs getting out aswell, eyes immediately on her. Julia rolled her eyes "Ignore them" Bella blushed out of embarrassment at the stares and looks at the ground, Julia glares at someone as they made a comment about Bella's truck. "Fucking twats" Julia walks beside Bella leading her to the front desk until Eric found them, she liked the guy but for the love of god no new kid wants to be front paper.
"Eric, mate, I don't think any new kid wants to be front page." Julia said it almost as if threatening him, he gulped and nodded as Bella gave a grateful look to Julia. "Will you help her to class and get her schedule I can't afford to be late again" Julia might've been late a few times already, Bella gave her a look of betrayal which made Julia laugh and give Bells a forehead kiss much like an lover would "If anyone messes with you, tell me" With that Julia ran off.
She ran past a few Cullens sliding around a corner and two of them seemed to freeze, she ignores it and ran into the class right before the bell. She gave a smile to the teacher "Heyyyyyy" She waves at him and he rolls his eyes
"Hey, go to your seat" She laughed and went to the back and sat into the only free spot, next to a certain blond goddess.
"You should get that checked out." Rosalie pointed out
"What?" Julia asks confused looking over at the vampire
"Your knee" Julia looks at her knee
"Oh yeah, fell off my bike cause it broke. I'll need to find a new way to get to school" She mutters, if her dad had given her that truck then she could pick up Bella no trouble.
"I can pick you up" Julia was surprised at the offer and laughs
"You aren't allowed over the treaty line, old stupid useless rules" Rosalie grimaces, why did she even offer that? "Thanks for the offer tho, but not only that but we don't even know each other"
"I'm Rosalie" Rosalie turns her attention to Julia raising her perfect eyebrow
"Julia, or Jules." Julia smiled, maybe the Cullens weren't so bad after all.
She was wrong, Bella just told her what Edweirdo did. She was angry to say the least "You don't smell Bells" Julia answered putting an arm around her shoulder "Maybe a little" She jokes but Bella glares at her "Alright alright fine" Julia pulls her arm away and they stand infront of the office, she saw Edward there and her anger spikes. She waited outside and she saw him glare at Bella before angrily storming off, she walked behind him before slamming him into a wall.
"Do not hurt Bella, look at her again I will kill you" Julia warns glaring at him, she pushed him into the wall again before letting him go and going off to find Bella.
Edward could hear Alice laughing in the distance and only growls, how dare that mutt. He thought before rushing to his car and going home.
"Where did you disappear to?" Bella asks as Julia jumps into the car through the open window
"Just had some business to do, no need to worry" She smiled at Bella before said girl started the truck
"Don't jump in through the window again. Might ruin my beauty" Bella pets the dashboard making Julia laugh
"Alright Bells just get us home, I need to ask Charlie for a favour..." Bella looked at Julia concerned
"Is everything alright?"
Julia waves it off "It's fine don't worry"
Julia grins at Bella "No." Julia ignored her hanging her body out the window "WHOOOOOO!" Bella laughs
"Jules get back in here!" Bella yelled at Julia who looked inside
"What?"
"Get back in here before we get into trouble-" She jinxed them didn't she.
"See this is why you shouldn't hang out of the side of a car." Bella says as she pulls over at the side of the road because of two things, one was that a fly flew into Julia's throat and she was now coughing aggressive and two was that they were pulled over by a cop.
Julia coughed and spit out the window "Fucking bugs" She mutters "I'm sorry Bells it's my fault I'll take the blame"
Bella shrugs nervously "It's fine..." Bella was looking at Julia right now so as she saw a huge smile form on her face she was... confused maybe a little scared underneath that.
A deep rough voice made Bella jump in her seat and turn her head as fast as possible to the cop, she however was met with her dad and Julia laughing loudly. "I should've filmed that" Julia laughs and leans to Bella as she blushed out of embarrassment trying and failing to scare Julia with her glare, Julia slaps Bella's arm playfully leaning her head on Bella's shoulder her whole body still vibrating with laughter.
"I hate you" Bella complains causing Julia to laugh louder "I pulled you over to say that Jules shouldn't hang out the window like that and because I'm going home too, I was wondering if you wanted to go out to eat immediately or not"
Bella looks at Julia "I should probably give her a lift to her bike"
Julia gave a tight smile to Bella "Yeah and I should probably be home on time"
Charlie looks at Julia again, his eyes found her backpack before looking at her torn pants. "Alright I'll see you tomorrow Julia, will you join us for breakfast then?" Julia hesitantly nods looking at Bella
"Is it okay tho? I understand if you wish to spend time with your father Bells"
Bella shook her head "No it's fine it would be fun if you joined us"
"If I want to be home on time I think we really need to uh get going" Charlie nodded at Julia
"Alright, I'll be home in a few Bella then we'll go out to get something to eat. Bye Jules" Julia waves at Charlie as Bella says a bye to her dad before driving off when Charlie walks back to his car.
Julia grabbed her bike "See you tomorrow Bells" Bella went into the house and Julia sighs picking up her bike and throwing it down beside the trashcans before starting her jog, the fastest way was through the forest she wasn't far when she sighed again her backpack was a bitch so she took it off and set it beside a tree.
She ran for a little until finding her spot and sitting there catching her breath, this at least gave her amazing stamina she thought to herself. She was there for a while depending her life choices before going back home, it took a while and when she did a car was in the driveway. A scowl found its way onto her face as she angrily walks forward and goes into the small house, she slams the door closed and went into the living room seeing her father and a piece of shit talking.
She roughly pushed the man "What are you doing here" She asks demanding to know
"Julia!" Billy yells outraged "To your room and stay there, I don't want to see you anymore."
Julia glares at Sam pushing him away roughly again "I'll fucking kill you" She mutters before going to her room slamming the door closed, she angrily punched the wall going through the wood. Her eyes widen as she grabbed her fist in pain, her eyes fill with tears as she started angrily cursing.
She looks at the hole in her wall and ignores the pain in her whole arm before putting a poster infront of it, she tears up one of her old shirts and wraps her bleeding hand after taking out a few splinters. She lays in her bed her hand on her chest as she tries ignoring the pain, she instead focused on another pain but it was also filled with hate. A lot of hate, maybe to much for one person.
Sam had gotten her kicked out of La Push high, lost all her friends because of him and he was always around her father who adored him. Plus he was watching her brother like a pedophile for some reason, even corned him once.
Time passed but she couldn't sleep from the pain so she jumped out her window, she started her walk to Charlie's home. Not house no home, she felt at home there. At peace even, he cared for her unlike her father. He tried to talk to Billy but he would never listen, Charlie missed his own daughter and in turn adopted another. Now that Bella was back there was a small bit of fear that maybe Charlie would stop caring, she knew it was a possibility but tried to hide her fear. She reached the Swan home before the sun came up and sat on the patio staring at the dark streets, she eventually fell asleep holding her possibly broken hand to her chest.
"Julia?" Charlie asked concerned picking the girl up, he was surprised but happy the girl was still very warm as he carried her inside and lays her on the couch.
"Charlie?" She asks slowly waking up
"Why were you outside?" He asks "I couldn't sleep so walked here and then fell asleep" She answers tiredly rubbing her eyes but winces loudly when she used her bandaged hand "Why is your hand wrapped in shirt?" He walks to her taking her hand and she groans in pain as he unwraps it, it was thick and slightly bloody.
"Jules!" He said concerned before disappearing and grabbing the first aid kit before walking back
"I was angry... punched through a wall" Charlie looks at her giving her a look "I'm sorry, I put a poster before it. It's fine" He gave her another look before cleaning the wounds she had on her fingers making her wince again "Not all of my posters have holes behind them"
"What I don't understand is that you punched through your walls before but it never seemed broken" He mutters
"This was a different one, the stronger one."
He sighed "You might have to go to an actual doctor for this one"
She immediately shook her head "I'm fine, just wrap it for me please?"
He sighed nodding "Fine, you're lucky I know first aid young lady"
She smiles "Yeah yeah, I think I'm having deja vu" He rolled his eyes before putting everything back
"Done, go to the kitchen and get started on breakfast as I wake Bella and clean this up" He said already starting to work on breakfast, which Julia finished making.
"Morning Bella" Julia greets stuffing her face with eggs, she took a bite of her toast chomping on it with a smile.
"You're here early" Bella mutters rubbing her eyes and finding a seat at the table "Is this edible?" She asks jokingly
"Julia made it, plus she taught me to make it for when you got here" Charlie says as he puts his jacket on "I'm sorry I can't have breakfast with you two, work called and needed me" He kissed Bella's forehead "I bought you a new backpack Jules! It's at the frontdoor" He said smiling at her before making his way out.
"What did you do to your hand?" Bella asked looking at her neatly wrapped hand
"It's nothing to worry about" Julia smiled at Bella before realising her backpack was still in the forest "Oh shit I'll be right back you get ready for school!" Julia ran out the door into the forest jumping over a few logs until she found her backpack, it was ripped open and her papers were everywhere. "Mother fucker" She sighed picked up what was left of everything, there were some large claw marks on the tree left by whatever animal did this.
She groans before running back sweat building up on her but she ignored it, she reached the house again and walks in "Bella, really lock the door if you're alone" Julia says scaring Bella who was putting on her jacket
"Jules!" She smiles at Bella
"Sorry for scaring you." Julia found the new backpack and leans down dropping her backpack, the pieces of it, on the floor and filling her new backpack with the torn notebooks and books. "Are you ready?" Bella nods
"I'm going to confront him today, about yesterday." Bella announced as they waited in the car
"What?" Julia asked confused.
"Edward, I'm going to confront him." Julia frowns "Are you sure it's a good idea? Do you want me there?"
Bella shook her head "It's fine."
The day was mostly uneventful that was until Julia sat in gym and the teacher was busy setting something up so two certain vampires could talk to the girl "What?" Julia asks, her tone wasn't nice at all and she had a scowl on her face
"Why are you attending school here?" Rosalie asks back in the same tone
"Does it matter blondie? Just stay out of my way" Julia jumps off the bleachers and lightly jogs to the coach picking up whatever he had trouble carrying and bringing it over to where it should.
"We're going to do a timed parkour" The couch explained receiving many groans except Julia who grins "You can go prepare as I continue setting it up." Many students start gathering in their own group doing stretches to get ready, Julia helped the coach set up stating she will go as one of the last so she can stretch as the others run the parkour.
It was a big parkour, many obstacles, and it made some people nervous as they look at it. Julia's eyes found a set already looking at her, she smirks at her before the coach told them to form a line. She went to the bleachers and started her own stretching watching the students.
Her eyes focused on a certain blond female's back as she went on to do the parkour, she was graceful at everything it seemed. She seemed to be holding back however, it confused Julia greatly but she thought nothing of it.
She could hear a few of the boys talking about how they'd 'do' Rosalie and that she should give them a lap dance once, she glared at them immediately about to speak up but Rosalie was finished "Julia! Your turn." The coach says and Julia nods bumping past the boys roughly, the coach gives the signal and she was off.
She jumps over a few obstacles before jumping onto one, the coach stared at her confused about what she was going to do. She could feel a certain set of eyes on her and grins, the next obstacle was rope climbing. She jumps to the rope quickly climbing to the top and jumping onto the wooden ladder they were supposed to be taking up, the coach had set down a set of secure poles to walk over or you would need to climb from rope to rope. First option was quicker but scarier and no one had done it yet, Julia takes a deep breath before running over the poles. She jumps onto the rope hanging there before swinging a little and dropping to the ground, she rolled out of it and climbs over the last wall and jumped down.
She smiles at the coach her chest rapidly moving up and down as she gathers her breath, he pressed the stopwatch to a stop as all eyes were on her. The loud click of the stopwatch the only thing you could hear, she had done it in record time maybe fastest in the school with her tactic. "Sit down on the bleachers Black" She grins at the couch before finding her place away from the other finished contestants, she however felt a body sit beside her.
She looks at who it was and saw Rosalie "Hey" She mutters, Rosalie offered her a bottle of water which Julia took thankful for the cold liquid
"Thanks" She opens it quickly taking a few sips "Do you want it back?" She asks offering but Rosalie shook her head
"Keep it" Julia smiles immediately taking a much larger sip
"Thanks, needed that" Rosalie was still staring at Julia intensely making said girl laugh "If you have a question do ask, maybe this time I'll answer"
Rosalie's lips twitch up before returning to her neutral face "You are hurt?" Rosalie couldn't keep herself from asking "Your hand." Rosalie added after Julia seemed confused what she was talking about
"Ooh, yeah don't worry about it" Her hand didn't look fine, even under the bandages that were now slightly torn by the parkour. She also seemed to be using that hand the least
"Shouldn't you go to the doctor?" Julia shrugged at that.
"Don't know, probably" She grins
"Did you wrap it yourself?" If she did Rosalie would be very impressed
"No Charlie did, uh Chief Swan. Bella's dad" Rosalie frowns "He found me sleeping on his porch and when he saw my hand he wrapped it for me."
Rosalie's frowns deepens and she could even see Emmett look at Julia confused slightly concerned even "Anyway, I have to go soon. I have an appointment in La Push and having to run there kind of takes long" Julia laughs and stood up "Thanks for the water blondie!" Julia walks to the coach muttering a few things to him before leaving the gym to the changing rooms, she grabbed her stuff not changing since she would sweat again anyway.
The door opens and she looks over seeing Rosalie "Let me take you"
Julia sighed "Sorry but we both know that even if they're children stories you guys aren't allowed over the line"
Rosalie seemed to contemplate something "I can take you at least the line then"
Julia thinks, could anyone see them? The chance of anyone seeing them wasn't big so she nods "Fine, thank you"
Rosalie nods, already regretting her decision. "Do you want me to change? After the line there is still quite some distance"
Rosalie shrugged, very uncharacteristic for her "Whatever you want."
Julia nods picking up the new backpack and looking at Rosalie "After you m'lady" Rosalie rolled her eyes before walking out the smelly locker room Julia following behind.
