Chapter Text
It turns out putting someone in a coma has consequences; it takes a while and is not the consequences he expects
Poor Wisp (Izukus's guardian name) goes through it in this story, falling into the Hellmouth...it worked out for him in the end, though. He has to do some questionable things down there. I'm sure his actions there will go well.
To no one's surprise, it doesn't go over well with everyone but his fire team.
Wisp doesn't get along with the powers that be most of the time.
He and his fire team even go rogue and are declared criminals a few times.
For everyone in Japan, he was asleep for a few years, but it was roughly a century for him; everyone was surprised when he woke up, especially Bakugo. Especially when he wakes up with his Guardian powers, considering he has no quirk and suddenly has powers! Not that he knew who anyone was. Of course, he didn't remember everyone, so he immediately snuck out of the Hospital.
Just like in the Last City, he didn't take any shit when it came to injustice; he and the HPSC pretty much immediately went at it VIOLENTLY but subtly (sort of). It scared his new friends.
If you don't want to be adopted, don't be an abused/neglected child who can see you.
Wisp even becomes a teacher at UA. He takes his job very seriously and pushes everyone to be the best they can be, although he can be intense. He even temporarily demotes Todoroki to general studies until he accepts both parts of his quirk.
Wisp has a lot of trauma; he has been fighting to defend humanity for over a century!
It turns out that using the darkness can have consequences. Not that Wisp had a problem with killing, but due to its influence, he was extra brutal in front of class 1-A.
The Witness REALLY wanted to corrupt him, much to Wisp's horror/annoyance. It was quite literally a thing of nightmares.
