They're standing in the kitchen together when it happens. Buck is looking at Eddie, at his mouth, and he starts to lean in before he's even aware of what he's doing. Then his hand is on Eddie's jaw and Eddie's eyes are staring deeply into his–
But he hesitates, afraid that he's overstepping.
"What are you doing?" Eddie whispers, and Buck begins to pull his hand back but Eddie's hand is there, holding him, trapping him in place, and he says, "Don't stop."
And though Buck started it, Eddie is the one to press their lips together and further it.
