They walk through the portal made from the white light. WIld messes with War’s scarf They were in War’s Hyrule, but it wasn't. It was too, something to be War’s Hyrule. Too colorful? Wild couldn't put his finger on it but, it seemed less stuffy in a way that was before. Twilight pinches his nose, while Sky makes a weird face while holding his head.
“The air stinks,” Twilight announces. And Sky nodded in agreement.
Wild tilted his head at them, the air isn’t that bad.
CHOO CHOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooo!!
They all jumped from the loud noise. Wild hears someone laugh.
“Visitors,” The man laughs, “always start freaking out when they first hear the horn.”
Wild look at the man, he looks very familiar in a way.
“Gonzo?!” Wind shouted in surprise.
Wild’s mouth dropped, that's why he looked familiar! Wind always talks about Terta’s crew, and he even shows them some photos of the crew too around camp, but he looks a little different from the man he knew. Before “Gonzo” could respond,
“ MR ALFONZO!”
Someone bumps into him, and in the corner of his vision, he sees where the blue scarf around his neck should belong. But Wild blinks away the vision and sees a man in a black uniform with a red cap.
The Hero of Spirits, his mind whispers, as there was a sketched-out photo of what the uniform for a Royal Engineer would wear in the tracks hadn’t faded away in the thousands of years since that era.
“ Mr. Alfonzo, I heard what happened with-”
“ It’s alright Link, now I think you should deal with these passengers, why don’t you.” The man begins to leave, and the Hero of Spirits turns to them with a smile. An achingly familiar one.
“ How do you do, passengers!” The Hero of spirits cheerfully smiled.
Four was the first to speak up, “ What is that?”
Four was pointing at the big metal thing that their new hero got out of.
“ Is it a Divine beast?” He interrupts.
“I'm afraid I have no idea what that means.” The hero of spirits says, “ But the engineering marvels of today leaves me rail-ly impressed right?”
Wild’s eyes widen, puns. Themed puns. OH MY HILIYA WE HAVE ANOTHER SILLY LINK TO THE CHAIN!!
Time nodded, “I suppose so.”
Legend was squinting at the Hero of Spirits, who just. Waved at him.
Wild turns to Twilight. The rancher’s eyes were open wide, staring at the Hero of Spirits.
The hero of spirits glances at Twilight.
“ You seem familiar,” The hero of Spirits says, “ Have we met before?”
Twilight frowns, he was about to speak before the Hero of spirits interrupted him.
“Wait..Haven't I met you all before?” The Hero of spirits looks at the scarf around his neck.The hero of spirits blinks at him.”Wild?” He heard him whisper.
“Captain?” He asks instinctively.
Wait, that couldn't be the captain. Wars only had one adventure- right?
But that face looked so much like the captain he now realized.
Wind was the first to jump and hug Wars, then it followed with everyone else (even Legend!) tripping the captain with everyone's weight, and making him fall to the floor laughing.
“Oh my Hylia, you're all actually here!” Warriors laugh.
“What did you think would happen, idiot!” Legend says, Wild pretends to ignore the tears in the veteran's eyes, because he's going to ignore that to tease him later.
“We will always come back and annoy you!” Wind yelled.
“And what were you thinking? That was a stupidly dangerous decision, Wars!” Sky scolded.
“I know, I know,” Wars says, “But it had to be me, I'll explain later when Time removes his heavy but off me.”
Four snorts, as Time shrugs.Wind was attached to Warriors leg.
“We missed you dumbass!” Wind yelled.
“I missed you all.” Warriors smiled.
Hyrule points at the uniform Wars was wearing, “Wheres your green tun-"
Now Wild didn't mean to interrupt Hyrule, but he was dying to know.
“Why didn't you tell me that you were the Hero of Spirits!” He nearly yelled, “You were the one of the most mysterious heroes documented besides Four and Sky!”
“What.” Four and Sky said at the same time.
“Pretty boy? Mysterious?” Legend laughed, playfully jabbing the Captain, “As if! He's an open book.”
“Then again, Flora mentioned something about documents being lost between like Captain Tetra's journal-”
Wind turns to Warriors with a huge grin. “I HAVE A SUCCESSOR! YES!”
Wind then fell silent in realization, “ FUCK HE DIDN’T STAY DEAD!”

“Wait, before we leave,” Wild hands Warriors back his scarf. “You need this back.”
Warriors look at the scarf he placed in his hands and smile fondly. “Thank you for holding on to it for me Wild.”
