Prologue
Thank you for taking the time to read and review – NONE of the characters are mine – I am just playing in the sandbox of Bellisario and CBS – I promise to give them back when I am done, and I am not making a profit on them!
If I use the lines from the actual show, I have posted them in BOLD.
I am using the following episodes and have marked in parenthesis what month I believe them to occur. We know that the episode THE DEADLY CIRLCE takes place on February 14, 1985. For the timeline of Blackjack, I figure it is somewhere around early June 1986 as the monsoon season (aka Storm Season) runs from May-September in Burma and Vietnam. I have left out three of my least favorite episodes (Little Wolf, Hawke’s Run and The Girl that fell from the Sky) and changed one other least favorite (Tracks) because it works for this Fic series which is about Caitlin and Hawke.
- Wildfire (March 1985) – I leave out the Dom stuff – this is mostly what was going on with Caitlin and Hawke since we don’t hardly see them.
- Discovery (March 1985)
- Day of Jeopardy (March 1985) – more of Caitlin’s side of story than what’s going on with Dom and Hawke.
- Little Wolf (March 1985) –as I don’t like this episode all that well – it’s not mentioned or even considered in my universe.
- Desperate Monday (April 1985)
- Hawke’s Run (April 1985) - as I don’t like this episode all that well – it’s not mentioned or even considered in my universe.
- Break in at Santa Paula (April 1985)
- The Girl that Fell from the Sky (April 1985) –as I can’t stand this episode at all – it’s not mentioned or even considered in my universe.
- Tracks (April 1985) – changed to work for this fanfiction series – I liked the idea behind it but there wasn’t enough Airwolf!
- Birds of Paradise (June 1985) – I see it as June since Hawke had a broken leg in Tracks and it would have taken six to ten weeks to heal and most LA county schools ended the first or second week in June thus allowing Half-Pint to still be in school).
- Blackjack (June 1986)
Also, my references to Saint John Hawke – he will ALWAYS be Christopher Connelly in my mind (I can NOT stand Barry Van Dyke) – so he will be described as we see him in Echoes of the Past, HX1 and those episodes as blonde and features are those of Christopher Connelly.
And finally, something that I thought that just fit Caitlin and Hawke - a quote stolen from SILENCE OF THE LAMBS:
