I'm on Fire, Pt 1

Summary:
Edward Teach is in love with his boss. His married boss. His married, straight boss.
The desire growing between them starts with a spark and quickly grows out of control. But, as he and Stede grow closer, Ed also discovers how perfectly Stede fits into his life and how essential the man is to his soul. Will Ed burn himself on the flames or will he and Stede figure out how to live the life they're so desperate for?
Notes:
This little story sprang to life as I listened to Bruce Springsteen's song I'm on Fire over and over and over last summer while imagining Ed pining over Stede. I do all of my creative plotting and scheming while swimming and I spent hours, underwater, dreaming up various scenes I wanted to include in this story!
I'll be posting weekly, probably on Mondays, but some weeks I may be swayed to post more than once, and other weeks I may have to skip because life can be a lot!
