Work Text:
The three of them were piled onto their bed when the door opened up. Seongwu who was awake early groaned before leaning back into Hanho who was attempting to go back to sleep. Neither of them got to go back to bed as Jisu had nudged Seongwu who managed to shove Hanho.
He looks at her betrayed when he follows her line of sight towards the door once again. There were only a few people who would walk into their room without warning.
One, Hanho’s parents — they were essentially acting as all of their parents now but the first time they walked in without knocking his mother had simply laughed at them with a bright smile before leaving. It turns out later, when they went back to bed that she had grabbed an old camera with a small amount of film left on it and stole a few pictures of them together.
Seongwu secretly loved it.
Hanho’s mother had apparently been bragging about it to her friends she worked with at the kitchen. Seongwu had managed to take one of them in secret, but he’s pretty sure Hanho’s mother had left it out for him. He’s also pretty sure Jisu has one as well, but not one hundred percent.
Two, the prosecutor had walked in once as Hanho and him were relaxing on the bed together. They hadn’t had any time off until that point, almost everyone - including them, were working their asses off for almost 18 hours a day.
When you got time to relax, you relax.
It was an accident on the prosecutors part, it was quite obvious by the way he had tripped and slammed into the closed door before it swung open leaving him on the ground. The slam had woken up Hanho, making him jolt up and move from where he was warming Seongwu’s side.
This somehow became a reoccurring issue with him and their cursed door.
It did not have anything to do with Seongwu having one of his better minions trip him without noticing every time he happened across a door with a side handle. He was only safe with the round door handles now.
It was a just action after what happened with Hanho almost dying for him.
…it also somewhat helped train his minions in stealth.
And that’s back to the third…group allowed to walk in unannounced, his minions.
Standing by the door was Righty. Obviously, their favourite spirit - but that didn’t really explain why he was there. He was holding something, Seongwu couldn’t really make it out but it was somewhat ratty and worn out - it was quite old! That’s all he could really tell.
Jisu flipped back into her position, mumbling, “he’s your kid so you deal with him.”
Seongwu opened his mouth in shock before Hanho piped up, “Jisu, it’s your turn.” He was also getting up, turning over to look at Righty but instead he blinks.
She grumbles but goes to move out of the bed. “Oh,” Hanho says before patting the bed. Jisu stopped moving, looking at him before they both stare somewhat in shock before Righty climbs up the bed, Hanho tucking him under the blanket before once again closing his eyes. It looked oddly practiced…
He and Jisu looked at eachother, the two were both equally dumbfounded by what just transpired before deciding to wait until later to ask what just happened.
…it turns out Righty just missed them. Seongwu hadn’t realized that his minions, as Hanho lovingly calls them, could feel emotions like this.
The thing in Righty’s arm was also an old stuffed animal, turns out Hanho had scavenged it from their old apartment a little while ago while on a mission. It was his when he was a kid, now that Seongwu knew that it was kind of cute and not at all ratty or old looking.
He would never admit to his thoughts of it being kind of ugly if Hanho ever asked, he would end up on the metaphorical couch for a few nights if he ever got wind of it.
