Crickets chirped and fireflies buzzed about in the night air of the seishin Forest, native critters and creatures alike wondered about seemingly unbothered, though if one were to really look, they would notice how tense the air was. Near silent footsteps sunk slightly on the damp mildewed grass, a figure could be seen silently moving through the forest thickets, seemingly knowing their way in the first which was rumored to steal people's souls who got lost... The figure stopped suddenly, their worn and frayed cloak rustling and shifting suddenly at the movement. Underneath one could see pale near white skin, worn black leather and metal braced boots on her feet, followed by shiny black shin guards, and light thigh plating of the same metal with skintight flight suit pants on underneath. As the figure stopped to look to their right, they cursed under their breath, so quiet it was bit a mere sigh. Suddenly the figure, a women, tensed and vanished, a few blades of grass and leaves floating from where she once stood, the ground lightly cracked from pressure...
Footsteps pounded on damp ground in a hurried and frightened fashion. A figure rushed through the deep forest, not caring of getting lost and only getting away, fair arms getting scratched by bushes and limbs she would run through, her white travelers blouse stained with dirt and blood, not her own. Looking a dozen or so paces behind the running teenager, one could see two grotesque fleshy demonic things rushing after her. One had six legs and bolbous fleshy grothes bubbling across it's entire body, pulsing as if it were a heart, seven grotesque ruby red eyes and nasty fangs the size of ones forearm, dripping with some unknown green venom that smoked in the air slightly. The other demonic creature had two normal bipedal legs, but a hunched torso with massive arms, twice it's body length with sharp bones taking place after the elbow like giant scissors, it also had those same bubbling fleshy and slightly glowing protrusions around it's body, and it's flesh was half rotted off, bones sticking out of each joint like bladed weapons
The second monster managed to get close enough to get a swipe on their targets left Achilles tendon, causing the girl to scream in pain and pitch forwards, due to her momentum she hit the ground with a loud bang and slid and tumbled about ten feet away from where she was hit, finally coming to a abrupt stop when she rolled into the base of a massive tree, it's diameter larger than a small townhouse. She groaned in pain and agony as she struggled to sit up, looking up at her approaching foes, seeing their targets now vulnerable took off faster, slimy black liquid like drool forming from their mouths. The girl screamed and begun to bring her hands up, her right shoulder suddenly screamed at her and her vision went white. After a few moments it started to clear up and suddenly felt a breeze of wind rush from behind her past her so fast it whipped her hair and ruffled her clothes like a angry chickling.
The figure from before was suddenly infront of the teenager, a massive scythe twice the owners size gleamed in the moonlight from behind her, held into hands down low behind her back, she tensed and suddenly vanished yet again, appearing behind the scissor demon up in the air, she silently whirled with her momentum, the scythe dutifully following through the air, carving a gruesome pass through air, flesh, then suddenly bone and back out, it's serrated segmented black blades glowed with odd crimson runes. Suddenly the monsters blood shot out of its own body in spikes to the point it looked like a poricipine. At once the blood of the first demon whirled around itself inna torrent and shot into the air, whipping through the air on a viscous path it suddenly swirled around the figure who just saved her life, the hood of her cloak fell off due to her constant movement as she seemingly floating in the air. The moonlight behind her gave her a eldritch yet ethereal and beautiful appearance, her dark purple hair shining as well as one crimson and one purple eye both with slit pupils gleamed in determination and focus, yet seemed layers with a untold amount of exhaustion. As she was entratured in her dark guardian angels ethereal and eldritch beauty, she suddenly vanished again, this time right in front the second demon, crouched low in a odd spider like pose scythe poised behind her raised to touch the ground just by the tip, the blood suddenly swirled around the scythe blade as its crimson glowing runes suddenly shines brightly, the dark angels eyes glowing in such a way it seemed like bottomless black holes, she suddenly twisted, the scythe obediently following as both it and the blood, sickenly split straight through the creature, right down the center, its own blood sucked out of it almost by a vortex, as the figure alit on the ground silently in the middle of the moonlit clearing, crouched low to the ground and chest heaving with effort, she raised from the ground, the blood being absorbed into her blade as her entire being seemed to glow with a odd purple and red aura, before vanishing once more.
As the beings cloak fluttered in the wind, she got a glimpse at the purple clockwork symbols on it and took a sharp gasp, realising who just saved her life now, the wondering Warrior Goddess of tragedy herself. She suddenly felt nervous being around such a divine being, her mere presence made the air heavy, and her sweat and the hairs stand on end. She cought site of two blade like black snd purple horns coming out her forehead under her bangs, a Dragonic tail of the same color but with a black bladed tip and several blade like spikes running down it and several patches of dark violet scales along her arms, chest and stomach, and neck on her white creamy skin, seen lazily moving underneath her cloak, the figure slowly stood, rolling their shoulders and flexing their fingers, bones cracking loudly as she did. Suddenly she began her short and slow walk to the downed girl, crouching next to her as her eyes glowed suddenly with a ethereal beauty blood flowing out her own had. As her claws sliced them in her own arm, suddenly splitting into tiny tendrils and tenderly and cautiously moving to her injured leg and prodding away. She watched in awe and slight trepidation as this happened. Suddenly before her very eyes her leg was stitched back together down to the fibers of the tendon repaired, as she tendreals vsnished back into it's originators body, sealing the cuts behind it, she backed up sighty and tilted her head to the side silently. Before raising her hand and signing in slightly scuffed basic, "Are you okay now? Come, I will guide you safely out of the forest, you are a innocent but curious and adventurous soul..." Before the figure stood up and was already walking away as if she teleported once she blinked. She scrambled up and grabbed her satchel bag which had fall off her to the wayside and rushed to catch up to the suprisngly short goddess, being shorter then herself. She wondered idly what this goddess had been through, it seemed as it they carried the weight of the universe apon their own shoulders, a weight even the mighty Divine Dragon Atlas would fail to withstand, the one who holds the skies up on the world of the gods and goddesses of the universe... She looked up at the moonlit sky, it being a full moon and both moons were high in the sky, one a luminescent blue and the other smaller a soft green. It cast a gently light as the goddess lead her charge through the magical forest, it's creatures and residents scurries near the duo curious of the new figure with the familiar tainted divine presence...
A handful of hours passed and the night was starting to give way to the pinks and oranges of the early morning. The two were now near the edge of the forest and the goddess stopped, she turned to the traveler, her eyes glowing lightly, signing with her hands "if you go straight this way another couple minutes you'll come out the forest near the edge of a traveling town, this is as far as I'm going to take you". The traveler blinked and asked "thank you ..what's your name?". The figure blinked slowly once and signed "Evaline". Before she turned and began to walk back into the forest, birds chirping and leaves rustling from critters playing in the early morning as the goddess vanished into the forest fog.
