Luna Loud, how does one begin to explain Luna Loud? Well, she meets her name sake that’s for sure. Luna is the loudest member of the Loud family. She’s a talented rocker and music is her passion. Her and her band the Moongoats were a hit in the local community.
Luna herself wasn’t what you’d expect for a rockstar. Sure she had all the attitude and rebellious personality you’d expect a rockstar to have but Luna was also one of the sweetest people. She’d help anyone with anything. She was known about the school but wasn’t what you’d class popular, she and her friends were seen at the punk outsiders but she got good grades and no one had any complaints about her.
Overall, Luna was happy with her life. She loved her family, her friends but at times Luna often found herself wanting something differnt. Like of instance, there was this group of three girl’s at her school. Pretty, very popular and most importantly trouble. Everyone wanted to be them or be seen with them and secretly so did Luna. Though she wouldn’t dare tell anyone that. She just wondered what it would be like to have that attention for once. People admiring you for your beauty and style. Like people admired her older sisters Lori and Leni, they were constantly complimented for their looks and pretty blonde hair. They went on dates and got invited to the best parties. Everyone loved them. Luna wondered what that was like, it was kinda hard growing up in their shadow.
“Hey, you okay?” Her best friend and bandmate Sam asked as she sat on their group bench next to her. Luna broke out of her day dream. The girl nodded “Yeah, fine”. She replied with a smile. Sam nodded “So, you wanna come round to mine tonight? We could do some geo study” Luna nodded “Okay, sure” she said. Sam blushed lightly “Great” she said.
“Hey dudes” Sully said as he and mazzy joined them “Hey” Luna and Sam said in unison. “My guys, school sucks. I cannot wait until we’re out on the road and touring the world, cause if I have to do one more bloody math calculation I’m gonna kill someone” Mazzy moaned. “Well good thing we have maths first thing tomorrow then isn’t?” Sully added sarcastically. Mazzy just rolled her eyes “Oh, looks like the pretty committee is up to their usual tricks again” she then added making the group turn their heads and true to her words it seemed the group Luna was admiring earlier were getting told off by a teacher for something.
“They are so far up themselves, I don’t understand why people think they’re so cool” Sam tutted. “Personally, I don’t think they’re anything special” Luna nodded ‘Yeah, totally” she said in agreement but then looked back a the girls seeing them laughing about their recent telling off, the sun making their jewellery sparkle. “And theres Luna’s boyfriend, Lucas” Mazzy teased as a boy approached the girl group. Luna rolled her eyes “He’s not my boyfriend” she blushed slightly. “You’ve had a crush on him for like ever” she said. Luna sighed “I know”. Sam gulped “You should talk to him” she said with a brave face. Luna shook her head “What? No way, he doesn’t even know I exist”. Mazzy and Scully scoffed “Please, of course he does. You’re a Loud!” Sully said. Luna hummed “Yeah..that’s not always a good thing” she murmured under her breath.
“What?” Sam asked. Luna shook her head “I was just saying, why would a a guy like that like me? I mean look at me I’m not exactly what guys go for am I?” She said gesturing down to her tomboyish look. Sam rolled her eyes “Are you kidding me, you’re stunning. He’d be lucky to go out with someone like you” the other two nodded. “Thanks for boosting my confidence” Luna said just as the school bell rang. The group groaned “I’ve got biology what do you guys have?” Sully asked “Spanish” Luna and Sam said together “History” Mazzy tutted. The group said their goodbyes and headed to class.
Luna sat at her desk tapping her pencil against it rhythmically “Luna? You got an answer for question 3?” Sam asked her. Luna turned her head “Nope” she shrugged bored out of her mind. Sam bit her pen “I think it’s talking about their daily routine but I’m not sure” she said but Luna wasn’t listening “Miss! Can I go to the bathroom?” She asked her teacher. The woman sighed but nodded and signed her a hall pass, Luna grabbed it quickly headed out the class. She could easily kill ten minutes hiding out in a stall, better than being stuck in there with that work.
Luna hide out in a stall on her phone for a little bit when she hear people enter the bathroom. “Ugh Mr Smith was totally looking at my breasts again, what a total creep” another girl chuckled “Well if you didn’t wear such low cut tops you slut, he wouldn’t” she said. Luna sat up slightly. She knew those voices, Hallie, Zoe and Zara. The girls she was admiring earlier. “Then how else would I earn an A?” The first girl, Zoe said. Luna listened carefully to the girls but didn’t dare move or have them acknowledge her existence. The group giggled and smoked, clearly they were avoiding class too.
The door opened again “Ah, the three very girl’s I’ve been sent to find” a teacher said sarcastically “I assume you all have a pass for being out of class”. Hallie scoffed “Of course Miss, Zara wasn’t feeling well” she said sweetly and yet almost mockingly. “Hall pass” the teacher demanded. Luna knew the girls didn’t have one and without thinking she quickly scribbled their names down on her own.
“Umm here Miss, our teacher just gave us the one” Luna said leaving the stall and handed over the pass. The three girl’s looked at one another skeptically. As the woman assessed the pass “Very well, quickly as you can girls. Back to class” she said and left the room. Halle looked over at Luna “So do you always creep about in bathroom stalls” she asked sharply. Luna shook her head “No, I sometimes do it when class is boring” she said. Hallie hummed “Well I suppose a thanks is in order, since we probably would have wound up with a detention that none of us would have gone to” she said sarcastically. Luna just nodded “Sure” she said and headed towards the door. “Wait” Hallie ordered. Luna froze and slowly turned back around. “Who are you?l Hallie asked. Luna gulped “Luna, Luna Loud” the girl smirked “Aw you’re one of those many, many Louds. Should have known. My older sister was in your sister Lori’s grade. She couldn’t stand her. Said everyone saw her as some perfect princess” she scoffed. Luna shrugged “Yeah, same goes for home too” Hallie narrowed her eyes and looked Luna up and down.
“You should hang out with us” she said. Luna looked at her in disbelief “What?” She said nervously. Zara and Zoe looked at Hallie confused “Yeah what?” Zara asked. Hallie gave her a look and Zara put on a smile “Yeah, you should. It will be real fun” she then said to Luna. The girl shifted nervously “Uh I don’t know..” she said.
“You can think of it as a repayment for helping us” Hallie said. “I’m kinda meeting a friend after school” Luna said. Hallie huffed “This is a one time invitation, you won’t get another. Think about it and if you do want to tag along. Meet us at the gate after school” she said before she and the other two girls headed towards the door “See ya Laura!” Hallow called back. “It”s Luna” the girl tried to explain but the trio was gone. Luna stood for a moment in disbelief “Hallie had just invited her to hang out. The Hallie, the most popular girl in school Hallie” Luna squeaked in quiet excitement. She could make up a little lie, she’s sure Sam wouldn’t mind if she took a rain check.

“Oh that’s a bummer, but sure we can do another day” Sam said with some disappointment as Luna told her she couldn’t hang with her “Hope your shift goes well” Luna nodded. She had told the girl she swapped shifts with one of her sisters at their family restaurant.
After school Luna quickly made her way towards the school gate unseen by her friends. At the gate she saw the other girl’s were already there and by the looks of it, they had been for a while so they must of ditched another class. “So you decided to show?” Hallie asked as she flipped her long gorgeous hair over her shoulder. Luna nodded nervously “Well, you made the correct choice” she said. Hopping off the wall “Let’s go” she said. The group followed her, Luna close behind. They arrived at the retro rental video store that royal woods had. Luna frowned it didn’t really seem like the type of place a group of girls like this would hang out.
“Hiya” Hallie said upon entering the building. The girl waved towards the man at the counter “Hey trouble, stuffs through the back” he said with a wink. “Hey, hey, who’s your new friend?” He asked as Luna passed. Hallie rested an arm on the man’s shoulder “Oh this is Laura, I invited her” she said. The man looked at the girl and nodded “Well Laura, it’s nice to meet you” he said extending his hand, Luna shook it “It’s Luna actually” she said before clearing her throat. “Luna, that’s very pretty” he said with a smile. “Go through girls, have fun” Hallie thanked him “That’s Mikey, he’s pretty cool” Hallie informed Luna as they walked through to the back. Zoe and Zara were already there unpacking a box.
“So you guys just..hang out here?” She said confused. The girl nodded “Yeah, sometimes. Sometimes Mikey and his friends throw parties, they’re fun” she said. Luna noticed that Zara and Zoe had bottles of vodka and were pouring drinks “Is that?…” Hallie looked over to where Luna was staring “Yeah, Mikey gets it for us. Want some?” Luna pondered on the idea for a moment. “I don’t know, I’ve never really drank before” she said with some embarrassment.
Hallie rolled her eyes “Well, if you wanna hang. You gotta drink. It’s kinda like a requirement”. Luna gulped nervously “Oh alright” she said quietly. “Zoe, get Laura a drink” she ordered. “It’s Luna” the girl corrected again. Hallie paused “Luna?” Luna nodded “Yeah, like the moon” she said. Hallie just looked
shrugged “Kinda sounds like a name a stripper would use” she said as Zoe handed her the drinks. “Never heard that one before” Luna mumbled quietly, taking one of the cups from Hallie’s hand.
“Hey Zara put some music on” Hallie instructed. Zara did as she was told and popped a CD into the player and the three started to dance. Luna sat in the corner nursing her drink, she sipped it and started cough at how strong it was “Jesus” she spluttered. The other girls giggled “You get used to it” Zara said before rolling her eyes back at the others. The more they drank the more Luna began to loosen up. She laughed and danced with the three “See fun isn’t it?” Hallie said. Luna nodded “Yeah, it is” she laughed. “In fact..” she lifted the bottle of vodka and took a long swig “Damn girl you catch on fast” Zoe said as Luna coughed.
“Hey girls, having fun?” Mikey asked coming through the door. “Mikey!” Hallie said and hugged him. The man kissed her on her head “Hey gorgeous” he said. Luna titled her head “Are they?” Zoe nodded “Mikey is Hallie’s..boyfriend” she slurred. Luna nodded “I thought she was dating Lucas?” Zoe and Zara laughed “Yeah, no. Lucas is just a friend, we just give him stuff” Zoe said earning herself a jab in the ribs by Zara’s elbow. “Stuff?” Luna asked. Zara rolled her eyes “Doesn’t matter” she said.
Meanwhile Hallie and Mikey were dancing “So what you think?” Hallie asked him curiously. Mikey looked over at Luna skeptically “Hmm not quite what i was expecting you’d bring, she doesn’t really fit the criteria does she?” he said. “You just said get a girl, you didn’t say any specifics” she said. Mikey sighed “It’s gonna take some work but.. I guess she’ll do” he tutted. “You’ll get her on board right?” He asked the girl sternly. Hallie nodded “Yeah, I can convince her” she said. Mikey kissed the girl gently “That’s a girl” he said.
Hallie made her way back to the girls, sat next to Luna and grabbed herself a drink. “So why is Mikey giving us all this? I know he’s your boyfriend but still..” Hallie sipped her drink “He’s just so nice and thoughtful like that. He takes care of us” she said. Luna frowned “Wait, do you guys live with him?” Hallie nodded “Yeah, we all had some family issues” Luna nodded “Wow..I always thought you guys lives were prefect” she said. Hallie hummed “Yeah we do a good job making everyone think that, keep everyone’s noses out of our business” she said refilling her drink.
“What you about you? You like your family?”. Luna bit her bottom lip “Mostly” she said quietly. “It can be difficult at times” she admitted. “Having ten siblings, can be tricky to get noticed sometimes. Especially when you were the first non-blonde, blue eyed feminine beauty”. Hallie looked at her “Yeah, that’s does sound pretty rough but you can be pretty too” she said. “You think?” Luna asked, Hallie looked at her “Totally” she said. She turned Luna’s face with her hand “You’ve got good bone structure, I can work with it” Luna smiled lightly then noticed the time “Oh, I better go. My curfew was half an hour ago” she said putting her drink down. Zara scoffed “Gotta be a good girl then don’t want to get in trouble with mommy and daddy” she chuckled. Hallie glared at her “please, you wish your parents cared that much about you” she tutted as she stood. “Mikey, babe. Can you give Luna a ride home?” She asked him. Mikey nodded “Sure, let’s go” he said.

Mikey dropped Luna off outside her house “Thanks for the ride” she said. The man shrugged “No bother” he said. “Ya know, you should hang out with us again” Hallie said. Luna smiled lightly then noticed. “Really?” She asked. Hallie nodded “Yeah, you’re alright Luna. Give me your phone”. Luna unbuckled her belt and handled her phone over. Hallie punched in her number “Text me any time” she said handing it back. Luna thanked her and got out the car “See ya” she said heading up towards the house. “That was almost too easy” Mikey chuckled. Hallie looked at him “I’m just that good” she said and allowed the man to kissed her deeply.
Luna entered the house. Her parents were sitting in the living room “Where have you been?” Her mother asked. “I was out with Sam. My bus was late and my phone died. Sorry if I worried you guys” Rita and Lynn Sr nodded “You’re home now and you’re safe that’s the main thing just don’t let it happen again” her dad said. “Go get ready for bed” Rita added. Luna nodded “Night, love you both”. Her parents smiled “Love you too sweetie” her mom said. “Night, rockstar” her dad said after.
Luna entered her room with a smile of her face “What are you so chipper about?” Luan asked her from her bunk. Luna shrugged “Just had a good day, that’s all” she said. Luan raised a brow “Oh yeah? How so?” Luna shook her head “There’s no particular reason, I’m just..happy”. Her sister chuckled “Alright, glad you had a good day” she said as Luna climbed onto her bunk.
The next morning Luna looked herself in the mirror, she had gotten up earlier than she would normal and was now on outfit number twelve. She sighed deeply. No matter what she put on it just didn’t look right on her. Her hips were too wide and her chest was too flat. Luan stirred awake “You been up long?” She asked her sister as she rubbed her eyes. “Not too long” Luna replied, still trying to fix her outfit “What are you doing?” She asked. “Trying to look nice” Luna tutted. Luan climbed out of bed “You do look nice” she said
Luna looked at her unconvinced “No, I look ridiculous” she said. Shrugging off her cardigan to choose another outfit “Since when do you care what you look like?” Luan asked. Luan shrugged “I’ve always cared” she said as ”I’m just tired of not being comfortable with my appearance, I mean. I’m no Lori or Leni” she huffed. As she pulled on a hoodie on “True, you’re no Lori or Leni because you are Luna. And Luna is pretty awesome if you ask me” Luan said supportively. Her older sister rolled her eyes “Except no one wants to be with Luna” she said. Luan looked at her sadly “Luna..there’s someone out there for you and they’ll like you for who you are” she said. “Doubt that” Luna muttered.
At school Luna met her fellow band mates by their lockers “You look nice” Sam said noticing Luna had put on a little bit of shimmer on today. “Ugh don’t rub it in, I look horrible” Luna said thinking the girl was making fun of her “No, I really..” Sam was interrupted by Mazzy “Oh watch out pretty committee passing through” she said under her breath. Hallie, Zara and Zoe walked right towards them. “Can we help you?” Sully asked the three of them as they stood staring at the group. “You? Ew..no” Hallie grimaced.
“Luna, wanna hang out with us after school today?” She then said turning her attention to the girl. The other three just stared at Luna in shock. Luna cleared her throat “Oh, um..I don’t know Hallie, I’ve got plans with these guys” she said. Hallie pursed her lips “Right, well if you change your mind you’ll know where we’ll be” she said before swishing her shiny hair over her shoulder and walking back down the corridor, Zoe and Zara on her heels. “What the fuck just happened?” Mazzy asked looking at Luna.
“Oh they came into the restaurant last night when I was working and we got chatting” she lied. Sully frowned “You weren’t working last night, my family was at your restaurant” Luna panicked as she got her books from her locker “Must of been after you left, I was on the late shift last night” she said quickly. The boy just nodded believing her. “Are you gonna hang with them?” Sam asked her. Luna bit her lip “No, course not” she said.
“Maybe you should” Sully suggested. The girls looked at him “And why would she want to bore herself with that?” Mazzy asked. Sully shrugged “Oh come on, have you never thought what they get up to all day? or the things they talk about? Maybe Luna can find out for us” he suggested. Luna looked at the other “Could be a laugh, we can make fun of them afterwards?” She said, Sam and Mazzy looked at one another “Think you can ask Hallie what shampoo she uses? I wanna know how to get my hair that shiny” Sam mocked imitating Hallie by flipping her hair over her shoulder and making Sully and Mazzy chuckle. “I think I can make the sacrifice” Luna said with a small smile. The group chuckled.
After school, Luna headed towards the school gates “Hey there she is” Hallie said as Luna appeared “Ditched the weirdos did we?” Luna frowned “They’re my friends, they’re not weirdos. You just don’t know them” she stated. Hallie put up her hands in defence “Okay sorry” she said. “Come on, let’s go” she said. They didn’t go to Mikey’s this time. Instead Hallie lead her to the park. There was others there p, including Lucas. Luna gulped nervously. “Hey everyone!” Hallie said hugging them. “Hey Hallie. Girls” Lucas said then saw Luna “Oh hey” he said. Luna waved a little “Hey” she said quietly. “Luna right? One of the Loud girls” Luna nodded and Lucas smirked “Yeah your sister Leni, she used to date my cousin Gavin. She was pretty cool” he said. Luna lowered her head “Oh, yeah..she did” she muttered.
Hallie hooked her arm through Luna’s “Come on, let’s get a drink” she said. Zoe walked across to Zara “Why is Hallie insisting she come along?” She asked. Zara huff “Chill, Mikey asked her” she said. Zoe nodded “Aww…now I get you. I thought Hallie actually wanted to be her friend” Zara just rolled her eyes “Shut up Zoe” she muttered before following after Hallie.
“You like him” Hallie said as the pair walked towards the store “What? No” Luna said. Hallie laughed “Oh my god you so do!” She screeched. Luna blushed in embarrassment “Alright I do, can you keep your voice down” she whispered. “You wanna get his attention?” Luna looked and her and nodded slightly. Hallie smirked she took Luna aside. She searched through her bag and grabbed her lip gloss “Here” she said opening it applying it to Luna’s lips. She then stood back a little “Lose the hoodie” she instructed. Luna did as she was told. Hallie tied the hoodie round the girl’s leaving her in her purple tank top. The girl sighed still not satisfied.
She tucked up Luna’s tank to create a make shift crop top “Hey! What the heck” Luna said feeling the draft on her skin “Trust me” Hallie told her before ripping the collar of Luna’s top slightly so it framed her breasts better. The girl then ran her fingers through Luna’s hair messing it up a little bit. She stood back and admired her work for a second. It was clear she still wasn’t completely satisfied “It will have to do for now. But it will at least get his attention” she said with a wink. Luna shifted uncomfortably “I don’t know, I feel..exposed” Hallie tutted “That’s what boys like, you want him to like you right?” she said. Luna nodded. They arrived at the store “You ever flirted with a guy before?” Luna shook her head.
“Well then, now’s a good time to learn. The clerk as this place will give us whatever if we flirt with him a little”
“What?” Luna exclaimed. Hallie rolled her eyes “Ya know, just give him a wink and flash your tits a little” Luna stared at her “Yeah I’m not doing that” she said. Hallie sighed “Then Lucas will never dare you cause that’s what he likes in his girls. Just think of it as practice” she said. Luan looked through the store window “He’s like fifty!” She complained. Hallie looked “Oh good, it’s the easy one you won’t have to do much. Just ask for two bottles of vodka then leaned on the counter and bat your eye lashes a bit” Luna rolled her eyes “This is so wrong” she said. Hallie pushed her towards the store. “Hallie this won’t work, I. Not exactly..pretty..” Luna said. Hallie looked at her “You’re like a solid six, this guys sees twos and three all day. You’re golden” she saw Luna still didn’t look all that confident. She groaned and ruffled through her bag.
“Here suck on this, no man can resist this trick” she said handing Luna the lollipop. Luna took it and unwrapped it “This is ridiculous, I hope you know that” she said popping the candy into her mouth before entering the store. She walked about the store for a little bit, trying to build her confidence before approaching the counter. “Hey” she said quietly as she removed the lolly from her mouth. The man looked at her “Can I help you little miss?” He asked Luna looked towards Hallie outside who was giving her the thumbs up.
“I’m hoping you can, think you can spare me two bottle of vodka?” She asked then batted her eyelashes. The man narrowed his eyes at her “How old are you?” He asked. Luna gulped “Old enough” she said leaning on the counter. The man leaned towards her “You got anything to prove that darling?” Luna sucked on the candy for a moment “I do have these” she said running a finger across the top of her breasts. The man looked at them and licked his lips “My my, those are certainly impressive” he said “two bottles was it?” He asked. Luna nodded “Uh huh” she said still sucking on the lollipop. “Take three” the man winked “On the house dollface” Luna thanked him and left the store.
“You got three!” Hallie celebrated “You’re a natural” Luna hummed “Well I feel dirty” she said as Hallie opened bottle “Wash it down with some vodka babe” she said handing over the bottle. Luna smiled lightly “Was a bit of a rush though” she said. Hallie chuckled “I knew you’d enjoy it” she said watching Luna drink. “Want to try some of those move on Lucas?” Luna nodded and Hallie squealed “Come on! Let’s go!” She cried, taking the girls hand and the pair ran back down the street.
