Genya pov
How did this happened....maybe it all started when I met him.....

January 7 1899 the Taisho era
I was born during one of the worst snow storms that ever hit. My mother barely survived since my father was to busy drinking, to get the doctor here but the doctor wouldn't be able to get here anyway. But miraculously she survived by luck even though she thought it was her beloved god that save her.
She think that the god most wanted her to survived, so she can birth a beautiful daughter. So that the god would bestow her the best life as possible when her lovely baby girl is born, but instead she got a boy aka me.
She was very disappointed when I was born, she didn't even wanted me in her arms since I was a boy. And when father came to look at me apparently he was disgusted, because even though I am a boy I was small and weak in his eyes.
But I am glad he forced my mother to take care of me even though it was her punishment, for birthing a weak baby boy to this world.

August 1901
Age 2
Well my father disappeared last year in the middle of night, but I think he left us since mother was unable to get pregnant. Which causes them to fight all day, because she kept on talking about how the god failed her. But the top reason he also dissappear was because of me, he viewed me as a nobody since he was hoping for an alpha not a weak child.
And it did made me sad since I was wondering where my father went to and when he will come back.....but he never did come back.
When mother realized that father was never coming back. She blamed me since the god must be punishing her for some reason. Since father was the one paying the house an everything. But luckily mother have hidden stashes of money since she didn't trusted father with the cash.
Mother thought we would be able to live in the house for maybe 2 more years. Until she could get a job, or maybe sell me off since I am a worthless good for nothing child in her eyes.
Maybe I should have been born as girl so I wouldn't be worthless in her eyes, and maybe father wouldn't have left us. Or the gods wanted to punish us for some reason.

March 1902
Age 3
Well it happened we were kicked out of our home since mother couldn't pay the rent. All the money she save up only lasted us for one year.
I remember how pissed off she was that we were losing everything, or more like she was losing everything. Nobody would take us in, her parents disown her for dating father and her beloved grandparents are long gone. Even the relatives members didn't want to deal with her because they thought she was delusional.
When I tried to cheer her up with a hug she just pushed me real hard on to the ground. Then started to say this was your fault useless brat that, or wished that I died during birth.
But I forgave her since that was her way of showing love....right?

July 1902
Age 3
I am so hungry but I slept through it since it help me stop thinking about food. I love to sleep but sadly today I couldn't fall asleep since it was so hot today......so hot. But mother haven't came back all day since yesterday. I wonder she finally left me like father did.
Well that what I thought because I saw her coming into an alley way, were we are currently living at. She have a big smile on her face that I ever seen....I wonder why I couldn't make her smile like that.
Before I could think of the reason why she was so happy, she grabbed my arm so harshly and started dragging me out of the alley way. Then she started to talked about how one of her childhood friends would take them in until we could get back onto our feet.
I was so happy that we can get shelter over our head, and finally get food in our stomach an not those rotten, or left over food. Then she told me they have a son that is 5 years older than me and that mean I finally have a friend to play with.
But then she started to tell me that I need to be in my best behavior, or we will get kick out because of me.
While she was telling me these things I became so sad that I started to cry which was a no, no in mother book. Because she stop walking and turned around to slap me in the face. An started to say boys shouldn't be crying because that was unmanly, but I couldn't help started to cry even harder since that slap really hurt.

Little genya pov
In a quiet tone " Mother why do we have to change our cloth and get myself a hair cut "? In a stricter tone " Because we need to look good for them, and as for hair it was so matted that all your hair needed to be chop off. * scoff * But I wished the barber have cutted all your hair off, but nooo he have decided that your top hair looked save able. Now your mohawk will make us look bad "!!
In a quiet tone " But I like the mohawk mother---" " WELL I DON'T LIKE IT BRAT!! * pinch her nose then sigh * Look you better be on your best behavior or you'll regret it, understood ". I nodded my head then in a timid tone " yes mother ".
Later
When we got there it wasn't a big house unlike our big house, but I shouldn't be complaining since these nice people allowed us to stay here. I felt a sharp pinch then a sharp tug on my ear " Remember be on your best behavior brat ". Then mother walked up to the door and started softly knocking I just followed behind her.
" Coming "! Someone said in a very soft tone. I stay hiden behind mother for safety when the door slides open revealing a small woman. " Oh Noa * gentle smile * I am glad you were able to come here ". The small woman said to mother " Oh Shizu * gentle smile back * I am just glad that you and your husband allowed us to stay here * slightly bowed * so thank you ".
So the small woman is name Shizu, I peeks out behind mother to get a better view " Oh this most be Genya * gentle smile * ". ( Eek!!!! ) I quickly hides behind mother and grab on to her komoto. " Sorry about him Shizu he just....* slight plain tone * shy ". I hear Mrs. Shizu giggling " Oh it ok Noa. I understand because to him I am a stranger in his eyes. * bent down then in a more softer tone * Hello Genya my name is Shinazugawa Shizu but you can called me Shizu * gentle smiling * ".
I spoke in a quiet tone " You have the same last name as I do "? " Genya--" " It seem like we do Genya * gentle giggles * I guess that make us family ". ( Family? )
Before mother could speak up another voice speak up " Mother are they here "? Someone spoke in a calm voice but also excited at the same time.
I quickly hid behind mother again " Oh my this most be Sanemi, he look just like his father * smiling * ". Mother said said them, I peeks from behind mother to see who this Sanemi person is. I see a unhappy kid looking at mother ( I wonder why he unhappy? ) but his appearance is weird I never seen a kid with white hair and his eye look like mine but his purple eyes look strange.
He just look " Weird ". After I said that everyone stared at me ( Did I say that out loud * freaking * I better apologize quickly or I get punish! ) " I- " I felt a grabbed on my arm ( OUCH!!! ) " Genya apologize right aw-" " * chuckling * I guess I do look weird don't I * smiling * ". ( Huh? Why doesn't he sound upset? )
Mother is still holding onto my arm real tightly " I am still sorry Sanemi * gripping tighter * Genya didn't mean it ". ( It hurt mother..) " Noa why don't we talk inside while our boys play in the back ". ( Mother please stop it hurts...real badly. ) " I don't know Shizu I would like Genya to st--"
Before mother could finish Sanemi took my other hand " Come Genya lets play in the back * smiling * "! I looked at mother shyly to see if that was ok. She was gripping real tightly then let go of my arm " Ok but please let me know if he does something wrong * tight smile * ". Sanemi just gentle tug me forward to his backyard.

" Genya what do you do for fun "? Sanemi asked me curiously but I kept my mouth shut and looked down. So I wouldn't get into trouble " Hey..what the matter * gently rub Genya head * is everything ok "? ( What do I say? * freaking out * ) " Um.." " Hum "?
We just stay quiet in his backyard for awhile until Sanemi started speaking up " Hey * in a gentle tone * I won't hurt you, I promise.......hum..Hey do you want to play a game "? ( Game? ) I finally look up at his face " What's a.....game "? When I said that he looked shocked " Did I....say something wrong "?
I started to tear up and that when he snap out of it " Nonono you didn't say anything wrong * pulling him into his arms then gently rubbing his back * I was shock is all".
We stayed like that for a few minutes until he speaks up again " How about I reintroduce myself, Hello my name Shinazugawa Sanemi but you maybe called me Sanemi or Nii-chan * gentle smiling * ". ( He...so warm and kind..)
In a quiet tone " My na-name is..." I started to freak out and wanted to hide but he gentle grab my hand " It ok take your time * smiling * ". I took in a deep breath then a deep breath out. Still in a quiet tone " My name is Shinazugawa Genya * bow in a 90 degree angle * it nice to meet you ".

" Hahahah why are you bowing "! I jumped up
( Was I pose to bow? Mother always make me bow to her when she come back or to greet someone higher than me? ) When Sanemi called down he started to talk " Sorry about that but * gentle smile * there was no need to bow to me Genya, since we are family now ".
( Family? That the second time I heared the word family. What is a family? )
" Hey Genya "? ( huh? ) " Yes "? In a quiet tone. " Do you want to fine some beetles "! Sanemi said in a cheerful tone and when I looked into his eyes I could see stars in his eyes " Uh sure...but wh-what does beetle lo-look like--" " Don't worry I'll show you!! So let's GO "!!!
" Hum * nodded his head " o-ok".
