Aka: Forsaken Murder Mystery with the survivors

Notes:

I'm writing this for the fun of it so it won't be beta read, the characters won't be as accurate and I overall won't put as much energy into making it good. Writing using my two hands, passion, my imagination and a dream

Update: This has turned into one of my favorite things I've written so I'm putting more effort into it (especially later chapters) and focusing on it mostly lining up with the characters and personalities, and making the plot make sense!

Chapter 1: The beginning

Chapter Text

The survivors sat at the dining table in the main cabin as they begin discussing the sudden change. For the last few days, or atleast they guessed a few days had passed. They couldn't really tell since it was always night. Anyways, recently no rounds had happened. They hadn't been teleported, killed over and over again as per usual in their eternal hell. No sign of the killers anymore.

"Isn't this a good thing? I mean, should we realy complain? We don't have to fear for fighting for our lives every single day anymore.. shouldn't we be glad?" Noob were the first to break the silence at the table.

After a few moments of silence, the next to speak up is Guest 1337.

"Of course it's a good thing. But logically speaking, we've been tortured here for eternitys now. Why would that suddenly change? Don't you think something has happened to warren this sudden switch?" He asks. Everybody had to agree that it was frightening. Most couldn't decide between being grateful for the sudden stop to their eternal suffering or to be afraid for what worse was to come.

"I agree with Guest. I think the best idea would to be on gaurd if anything sudden happens." Builderman says.

"Should we group up 2 and 2 then? I don't think it's too safe to stay alone right now, especially during night when we're asleep" Shedletsky proposes. The table nods.

"For alone we may not last, together our fates won't end fast" Dusekkar agrees.

"But how do we chooose groups?" Noob asks

"Hmm.." Shedletsky ponders before speaking up with an idea. "How about we draw lots? Everyone, write down your name on a piece of paper and put it in a bowl. Then we'll draw lots two and two, and whoever comes up together will be grouped up for the night"

"That's... pretty stupid" Builderman sighs.

"Do you have any bettter idea builder boy?" Shedletsky taunts.

Eventually everyone agrees on the idea, writes their names down and Shedletsky starts to draw them two and two:

Two Time and Builderman

Guest and Shedletsky

007n7 and Taph

Elliot and Chance

Noob and Dusekkar

"Everybody got their partner for the night?" Builderman asks, slightly exasperated. Everyone nods or says something along the lines of 'Yes.'

"Oh may spawn protect us and save us from whatever is to come" Two Time says and puts their hands together to mimic prayer. Builderman looks as if he's about to kill either them or himself.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever, let's just go" He drags Two Time out by the arm.

"Maybe it wasn't the best disicion to randomize the groups.." 007n7 quietly wonders.

"...Well, see you all tomorrow then! Goodnight guys!" Shedletsky says and Guest waves before they both leave the main cabin as well. Soon everybody has left and the groups are back in their respective cabins together.

"What are the chances, pizza boy? Looks like lady luck is on my side, as per usual" Chance smiles through his shades. They were walking together to his cabin.

"Ugh, you're impossible" Elliot says and tries to seem annoyed, but the slight blush on his cheeks betrays him. Him and Chance were close with eachother than with most other survivors in this place. They were good friends. Though he didn't really have a chance to consider if good friends were all they really were. Well, he absolutly doesn't anymore atleast, but he didn't know that yet. He was secretly glad he got grouped up with them and not somebody else. Everything felt a bit better with the gambler around, although he would never admit it to their face. He could just secretly hope he also felt the same. He got dragged out of his thoughts when they finally reached Chance's cabin, that they agreed on staying in.

"Let's get some rest for now and I'm sure we'll solve something by tomorrow" Chance says. "Goodnight Elli"

Elliot sighs. "Goodnight Chance."
