as someone who was forced to work for the empire when the republic fell, i promise you, kid, you don’t know what you’re talking about. the Jedi were good people and i know that because i knew a few of them personally (including one of the ones shown in the video). so i understand that political unrest is stressful, but going back to the empire will only kill more people.

A group of Jedi Padawans, tentatively aged between 14 and 18, study together for exam week. Identified members of the group are Obi-Wan Kenobi (human, aged approximately 16 standard), Quinlan Vos (Kiffar, aged approximately 18 standard), and Bant Eerin (Mon Calamari, aged approximately 14 standard). Also with them are a male Rodian, aged approximately 16 standard, a male human, aged approximately 16 standard, a male Dressellian, aged approximately 15 standard, a female human, aged approximately 15 standard, and another female human, aged approximately 16 standard.
The group begins the video by discussing which exams they are dreading the most in the coming week. Vos remarks that he is glad to be aging out of “mid-levels,” presumably referring to a grouping of classes Padawans have to take in the middle of their apprenticeships. The rest express their displeasure of having at least* one more year of these classes. The conversation eventually escalates to friendly wrestling before a human girl, aged approximately 15 standard, reminds Kenobi that his Master (Qui-Gon Jinn) will be picking him up for lightsaber practice a few minutes from then. The video abruptly ends after the camera is seemingly jostled by the Rodian boy.
* The ages of the Padawans are not confirmed, as many are still unidentified. Aside from Quinlan Vos (59 BBY - 2 ABY), they are all either confirmed or believed to have died during the Jedi Purge or earlier.

i was asked to make this post by @nykolas after he found a video of a now-deceased Jedi that i knew personally when i was young. i have attached the video to this post so you all can see who i am talking about.
my name is kylah lohmata and i became a gangster when i was 12 years old. i was born on a hutt world and lost my parents and so didn’t have any other options, nor did i really know that there were any others for someone like me. at the time, i worked for an up-and-coming gang (yes, those Riftwalkers) under the name “stowaway” and essentially checked ducts and vents for them, stole some things, etc. one day a few months in i was saved from some angry men by a nice woman who i called “hotwire.” she worked as my “bodyguard” for a while and i eventually found out that she was an undercover Jedi named Depa Billaba. the gang leader (yes, that Zilastra) threatened to kill me if she didn’t surrender, and Depa did.
thankfully, Depa’s old Master, Mace Windu, as well as Master Qui-Gon Jinn and (then) Padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi came to our collective rescue. (for anyone wondering, yes this is about the gang fight in the Slice in 33BBY.)
anyway, so, yes, i personally knew Obi-Wan Kenobi and can confirm that it is him in the video. i’ve seen some speculation on the identities of his friends here, but unfortunately i cannot confirm or deny any of them (aside from Quinlan Vos), though if we’re lucky i may remember him mentioning a name or so during the clone wars. (yes, he and i worked together again during the clone wars. the Jedi found me a job on a military ship and helped me turn my life around for the better. it was incorporated by the republic navy during the clone wars and then again by the empire during the new regime and i stayed on for two months before i couldn’t take it anymore and left to join the rebellion. no, i can’t tell you any classified info about the rebellion. yes, i was one of the pilots.)
granted, i first met Obi-Wan when he was 24 and then again when he was 35, but i can definitively identify the boy in the video as him. i can ask around some contacts to see what’s come of him. i have also attached two holos taken during the clone wars that include both myself and Obi-Wan after different campaigns. the first also includes his old Padawan Anakin Skywalker and his Grandpadawan A. Tano (i can’t remember her full first name, unfortunately—i had a lot more holos but they were destroyed alongside the note i had of her name) and the second includes his friend Quinlan Vos (the same as the video) and another one of the women in the video, whose name I have unfortunately also lost to time.
EDIT: it has been confirmed that Obi-Wan died on the first death star the day it was destroyed but BEFORE it was blown up. darth vader (palpatine’s bloodhound) killed him himself, which doesn’t surprise me at all. it would take a lot to kill that man. may the Force be with him.
EDIT 2: thank you for all of your condolences. it has been a very long time since i have seen him but i will not lie and say that it didn’t hurt when i found out. i see some comments mentioning wanting to do more for the Jedi and other Victims of Imperial Genocides (VIG), so if that is you i would recommend visiting the VIG central webquarters and/or Luke Skywalker’s new Jedi Memorial and Renewal Foundation—all proceeds go to recovering old Jedi possessions and artifacts, as well as CORPSES (it has been proven that the Empire kept the bodies of Jedi to lure others to their deaths) for proper death rites. proceeds are also used to teach a new generation of Force-sensitive children, teens, and adults how to safely and ethically use the Force. thank you!

JEDI PADAWANS DURING EXAM WEEK, 41 BBY
Found by HoloNetworking user @nykolas on a now-defunct archival server. Tentatively dated to 41 BBY. Features then-Padawans Masters Obi-Wan Kenobi, Quinlan Vos, Bant Eerin, (NEWLY IDENTIFIED) Prie Nimali, Siri Tachi, and three others of their age-mates (a male Rodian, a male human, and a male Dressellian). All appear to be between the ages of 14 and 18.
In 19 BBY, at the end of the Clone Wars, the Emperor of the Galactic Empire ordered the deaths of all members of the Jedi Order—Masters (teachers), Knights, Padawans (students), Initiates (children between the standard ages of three and twelve), and younglings (children under the standard age of three), including those infirm and elderly. Having served the Galactic Republic as generals and commanders during the Clone Wars, the Jedi’s population dropped from over 10,000 Knights alone in 22 BBY (pre-war number provided by S. Wren, adoptive daughter of escaped Padawan C. Dume) to less than 100 Jedi total by six months into the Jedi Purge (a term coined by Jedi survivors referring to the period between 19 BBY and the fall of the Empire, during which Force sensitivity was considered a crime punishable by death). Many Jedi survivors have still not come forward for fear of being killed even now. Other non-Jedi Force sensitives (including both adults and children as young as newborns) were also targeted during the Jedi Purge, whether they had ever been associated with the Jedi, Guardians of the Whills (please see the GOTWMF webquarters for more information on them), or any other Force-sensitive group or religion or not.

I’ve done research work on some of her papers (mainly “Pre- and Post-Ruusan Jedi Warfare” and “Ataru: From Ceremonial Dance to Life-or-Death Situations,” though I have read a few others). Yes, we have! The Jedi Memorial Project is an academic collection of Jedi works and analyses shared between over 150 universities in the galaxy and often works in tandem with JMRF. Once a month, we make a point to collect any new materials we’ve found and send them over to Luke personally.

Jedi Memorial and Renewal Foundation (JMRF) Community Welcome Post
Hello everyone, I’m so glad to be creating this community as a memorial space for the Jedi Order and a meeting place for those of us living on. As many of you know, my father was once a Jedi Knight who fought in the Clone Wars (K. Anakin Skywalker) and I knew M. Obi-Wan Kenobi and M. Yoda himself before their deaths. I am so thankful for the outpouring of support that I have received from the community, and while I have also seen much hate, the light of all of you has deeply touched the hearts of many Jedi survivors I have personally spoken to. On behalf of us all, thank you.
This community is designed to handle large and small file uploads (for videos, holos, pdfs, and more) in case you ever come across old holos, videos, or physical photos of Jedi of any time period. Downloads of Jedi books, articles, pamphlets, infographics, etc. can also be uploaded here. Physical books/datacards and artifacts can be donated to the JMRF at your convenience and will be picked up by a volunteer (EDIT: please do not set a pick-up date only to try to meet me—you are likely to be disappointed and my sister will blacklist you herself).
If you are a Jedi or former-Jedi, are Force-sensitive, or knew a Jedi personally, please feel free to reach out to me via the “Living History” process on the main page, even if you do not want to give an oral or holo history interview. We can provide financial assistance if it is needed.

The sad thing is that this whole program will be forgotten by the public in a few years when the novelty of the Jedi wears off for them. They’ll move on and forget about all the people killed by the Empire, turning them into just one more society obliterated, the same way they did to the Ghor, Wookiees, Lasats, Dhanis, Geonosians, and more.

I get that it sucks when stuff like this falls apart, but there is more to keeping a memory alive than just pictures and books. The Jedi and the Ghor and the Wookiees and the Dhanis and the Geonosians and everyone who was killed by the Empire would want for us to make sure the Empire and those who support it can never rise again, so even though we cannot stop the sands of time from washing away at memories, we CAN stop their deaths from going unhonored.

Well said, Plq’r! The JMRF is an effort on behalf of myself and others personally impacted by the Jedi to record history the right way (because the Empire has been writing us out and villainizing us for decades) AND to put these materials together for future Force-sensitives, whether or not they choose the Jedi path. I know that I am one of the last Jedi alive (I’ve met only a handful of survivors of the Purge and even fewer who were taught after the Purge began, like I was) and I know that we very well may never (and, in all reality, probably won’t) return to the heights we once reached, both in size and in impact. That’s a painful truth to swallow—but a truth nevertheless—but what I CAN do in this situation is make sure that the Jedi’s mission for peace lives on past me. The important thing isn’t the size of the movement—it’s keeping the drive for peace alive.

This is untrue—the Jedi attempted to arrest the Chancellor because he admitted to a member of the Jedi High Council that he was the Sith Lord who had planned the Clone Wars. Pretty hard to pretend that isn't a just reason for arrest. (P.S. Even if they had tried to assassinate him, killing an entire group of people isn’t justified.)

I met a Jedi when I was 9 years old. He helped me and my friends turn our lives around. While some of us made bad choices, I know for a fact that the streets of Kwenn would be far more dangerous today if not for the care of Master Piell. Even Piell was a good man who truly cared about us, and he understood how us kids were impacted by the structural poverty we were brought up in. He didn’t just get us free school lunches, he didn’t just get our sponsors back for our education, he didn’t just fix our truancy program—he inspired a love of learning and a love of helping in many of us. We all got together—my whole class, everyone who was still on Essafa Key—to drink and cry the day we found out he died in the war. My parents mourned when the Jedi Temple was burned because they knew that Masters Koon and Tiin were dead—they helped them and their coworkers save their jobs and boost the economy without needing to rely on outside help. We on Kwenn sometimes even call their visit in 33 BYY the Second Grand Renewal and we miss them every day when we remember the old outpost.

I would love to talk to you, and I’m willing to, but if you’re interested in the Jedi on Kwenn, I would definitely recommend talking to @kwennholofeed’s Morn. She knew Master Yaddle (who died in 32 BBY) and a few other Jedi and was part of the Jedi’s plan to stop the Riftwalker takeover of Kwenn—it was a huge deal when it happened.

In addition, I for one just know the people of Kwenn would love to have you visit us in the future! It is. It was made as an archival site, so thankfully it is still doing its job in that regard. However, the founder, Luke Skywalker, hasn’t been heard from in six years, and attempts to contact the co-founder, Leia Organa, have been unsuccessful. I did once reach out to Jedi Knight Ezra Bridger (this was maybe four years ago) and he confirmed that Luke has not been in contact with him since the online community stopped getting official updates. Ezra wasn’t sure why either, it seems like there was some stuff going on behind the scenes. He tried to pick the community up for a while, but couldn’t get the passwords to see the hidden submissions, so he was the one who took down the option so no one would get confused. (Yeah, he totally hacked it.) If you’re Force-sensitive, I recommend checking out the Guardians of the Whills Memorial Foundation (GOTWMF)—they’re the only large organization that works with Force-sensitives currently, but you’ll have to travel to see them, as they took their online resources down a few weeks ago.

Partly. The other reason is just that, as people got older, less people remembered the Jedi. It’s mainly just the elderly who actually have memories of any of them from the Old Republic era, now. Luke Skywalker used to have a troupe of fans, as well, but as I said, he dropped off the map a while ago and was a bit of a recluse even before that. There are so few full-fledged Jedi (I know about Ezra and Sabine Wren, and I’ve heard some things about Sabine’s Master and Ezra’s Padawan, but they’re both pretty hush-hush, Sabine’s Master because she survived Order 66 based on the timeline and Ezra’s Padawan because he was so young then, though I couldn’t tell you about him now) and most of the New Jedi Order was taught by the missing Skywalker and are now also off the map, so time has begun to forget them. That doesn’t mean that the mission is over, though—the Jedi believed in peace, and there is still a great calling for it in the galaxy today.

There is truth to it, that’s for sure. I can’t post private information here but I know that for certain. They’re old Imperial remnants and the rumor is that they have a Sith with them, so I’d advise you to stay careful and lay low if you need to.

Hi everyone! It’s been a long time since this forum was publicly available and accessible. My name is Rey Skywalker and I’m reopening this webquarters so that the resources that were publicly available from 5 ABY to 24 ABY are once more public to anyone looking. I am also reopening but reformatting the private requests/contacts page. For anyone looking for Force training for yourself or a loved one, please access “Living History” -> “Future Steps.” I am not specifically looking to take any Padawans right now, but I am willing to visit to help teach shielding and other Force skills responsibly and ethically and/or to pick up any Force artifacts or old documents you would like to donate.
I’m not really expecting this page to take off, but I did just want to put it back online for anyone who needed access to the archives we have here.

The recorded Skywalkers of the Jedi Order that I know of are myself, Anakin Skywalker (41 BBY - 4 ABY), and Luke Skywalker (19 BBY - 34 ABY). Anakin was Luke’s father, whereas I was adopted into the family.

I’m glad to see this resource back online. I’ve been a member of the community since it first went up in 5 ABY and was very unsettled when everything went down in 24 and our new posts and comments started getting deleted in 33. It’s been a bumpy ride for sure, but it’s good to see the new generation picking up where their elders left off.

When I first found JMRF I didn’t really believe it would stay around to make change, but over the years, it’s been a real force for good, and many people have flocked through here to find help and to give it. I was very worried when Luke abandoned it a decade ago, but I’ll never forget what he told me when I made that first pessimistic comment: the important thing isn’t the size of a movement—it’s keeping the drive for peace alive. As a child and a young woman, I didn’t believe in any of that stuff, but Luke and his webquarters made me get interested, and through it I met my now-husband, who flew for the Resistance during the Battle of Exegol. The First Order managed to take control over the webquarters in 33 ABY, but before that we managed to find a lot of Force-sensitive people who were on the run from the First Order, so I just wanted to thank you for putting it back online and pass on the wisdom Luke said to me: the important thing isn’t the size of a movement—it’s keeping the drive for peace alive.

[A human boy, maybe sixteen years old, flops his face down into his arms on the table. Next to him are two datapads, one set up for taking notes and one set up for reading. Next to him are a small group of friends.]
OBI-WAN KENOBI, muffled: Ugh, why are we tortured like this? Who even needs astronav 4?
[One of the boy’s friends, a Kiffar male perhaps a little older than him, laughs at him. The boy lifts his head just enough to glare at him.]
QUINLAN VOS: Chill, Obes! It’s just funny—you usually love flying! What happened?
OBI-WAN KENOBI, muffled: You heard about my last mission.
QUINLAN VOS: Seriously? It really shook you up that bad?
[The boy glares again. A human girl near them, one around their age and with dark hair, glares at them both.]
PRIE NIMALI: Can you two be serious for once? We have our astronav exam tomorrow, Obi-Wan!
OBI-WAN KENOBI: Serious? You’re the one always playing pranks!
PRIE NIMALI: I am not!
OBI-WAN KENOBI: What about the squid, then?
[The girl freezes and looks at him hesitantly.]
PRIE NIMALI: What squid? There was no squid?
OBI-WAN KENOBI: I think I would remember if the squid didn’t exist.
[The girl looks at the Kiffar boy inquisitively, seemingly trying to be secretive. The boy does not miss this.]
OBI-WAN KENOBI: Why are you looking at Quin? He wasn’t even there!
QUINLAN VOS: I mean, I think I can vouch for you, Obes.
[The girl makes a silencing gesture. The boy, “Obes,” sees this as well.]
OBI-WAN KENOBI: What is this? What do you mean, you can vouch for me, Quin?
[He sounded betrayed. The Kiffar boy, Quin, smirks a bit.]
QUINLAN VOS: I mean, I saw the video…
OBI-WAN KENOBI: VIDEO?!
[The camera devolves into a flood of chaos. “Obes” attacks the Rodian boy near them, yelling something unintelligible about videos and recording. The Rodian boy laughs at him, seemingly having fun.]
BOLLA ROPAL: You’ll never find the datachip!
OBI-WAN KENOBI: You really recorded it?!
[“Obes” tackles the Rodian boy, who continues laughing. The rest of the group laughs along. Suddenly, “Obes” turns around.]
OBI-WAN KENOBI: Don’t think I’ve forgotten about you, Quinlan Vos!
[“Obes” runs at Quinlan.]
QUINLAN VOS: OBI-WAN, NO–
Video paused.
Rey smiled and looked over at her friends, who were fighting much like the two boys were in the recording. She had heard the voice of one of them before—Obi-Wan Kenobi, Luke had told her. He had been his Master for a short time, and before that Luke’s father’s.
He had spoken to her before.
“Rey!” Finn yelled out from where he was being squished by Poe. “Come save me!”
And like any good Jedi should, Rey went, laughing.
