"Hime, I just don't understand. You and Orochimaru? It can't work, surely?"

"Eh, he's hot when he's a woman."

"Tch. Right, and he's such an accomplished housewife, and mother now. Ridiculous. Why not just date a woman, instead of a man who's good at being a woman?"

"You *don't* get it! It's inherently queer to change your gender, no matter how well you perform the role expected of that gender! Oro and I will always have a queer relationship, whether that's friendship or more. You and I will always have a straight friendship. Low value. I can get that anywhere."

Notes:

Somebody mentioned Tsuna/Oro as a ship and, like, I see it as asexual / queerplatonic, but yeah I can absolutely see them in their old age, still looking young and fabulous, bitching together and co-parenting. Why not? It would fit into my as-yet-unwritten au, too
