Chapter Text
3 Days After Are You Thrillified?
The library was still occupied. The smell of worn pages and ink floated in the air paired with the occasional turn of the page. Elphaba’s eyes glanced over the same text for what felt like the thousandth time.
It was hard to admit, but her studies had slipped just a little. Diving into her studies was what kept her grounded at Shiz. But that was before. Before friends. Before the Ozdust. Before Galinda.
Galinda.
Now, with somewhat of a social life, Elphaba spent less time studying. Not only had Galinda apologized, but she’d made an effort to spend time with her. She’d walk with Elphaba to classes and continue initiating conversations in their room. Topics ranged from magic, to class, to Nessa. It seemed like Galinda could ask her anything, and Elphaba would willingly give out any information. She didn’t realize how much she’d enjoyed talking with someone who wasn’t Nessa or Dulcibear.
Well, two days ago, there had been little conversation.
Elphaba felt her cheeks flare up as she remembered the game that Galinda had introduced her to. The feeling of being wanted was intoxicating. The way Galinda’s eyes had twinkled; how her hand felt on Elphaba’s cheek; Galinda’s lips on hers.
How Galinda’s body had felt moving on top of her. The sounds she’d made.
Elphaba shook her head and squeezed her thighs together, willing herself to push the memories away, or at least not think about them until she was in the privacy of her own room. She had been bold, but she’d told herself it was because Galinda always brought out a defiant side to her.
She knew that they’d talk about it eventually. But the last couple of days, she’d been returning to the room well after Galinda had gone to bed. Madame Morrible was an unrelenting teacher and continued to push Elphaba harder in her studies, even after Galinda had joined their seminar.
She sighed and scanned the page again. She rubbed her temples and put her things in her bag. Clearly, she wasn’t going to get any work done here. Maybe the walk to her dorm room would help clear her head. And maybe seeing her roommate’s face in person would ease the thoughts that kept coming, unbidden, to her mind.
—
As she pushed her key into the lock, she thought she heard Galinda say her name through the door. Were Shenshen and Pfannee here? She could’ve sworn she’d seen them at the library.
She hesitated. She still had some work to do, but it would be useless if the three of them were together.
She didn’t hear Shenshen or Pfannee respond. Perhaps it was just her exhaustion. But then, a moment later, she heard Galinda say, “Elphie”, it was muffled, but she was sure she heard it. She turned the key and opened the doors with a creak.
When she pushed in, she was surprised to find Galinda alone in the room. The lights were on, casting a pink hue on everything. Galinda laid down in her bed under the covers, making eye contact with Elphaba as she walked in and smiled. She was already in her night clothes, and her hair fell unflatteringly across her face, which was…odd. She noticed this and blew the hair away. “Elphie, you’re back! Early!”
Elphaba smiled back at Galinda and placed her bag at the foot of her bed. “Yes, are Pfannee and Shenshen here?”
She waved her hand, “No, I think they’re studying in the library.”
Elphaba’s eyebrows pinched together, and she looked around the room again before closing the door behind her. She could’ve sworn that she’d heard Galinda say name, but why would she if no one else was in the room? “They’re not here?”
Galinda shook her head. “Why?”
Elphaba raised her eyebrows and shook her head. It’s not that she didn’t believe her roommate, but she could’ve sworn she’d heard Galinda say “Elphie”. No one else was allowed to use that name. Even Fiyero. He had tried once, and the glare that Galinda sent him could have melted him on the spot. “I thought I heard you say my name. Right before I opened the door.”
“I think you’ve been studying too much, Elphie. You’re starting to hear things.” Galinda said sweetly.
Elphaba rolled her eyes. “That’s not how studying works, which you’d know, if you tried.” Elphaba winced, hearing her tone echo in her head. She hadn’t meant it to sound so mean. When she looked back, Galinda had put on a robe and walked towards the door. A feeling of guilt suddenly sat heavy on her chest.
“Galinda, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean it like that.”
The blonde seemed frazzled. She didn’t look at Elphaba directly. Instead, she looked longingly at the door, like she had somewhere to be.
“I know, Elphie!” She said straightening her hair and robe. “I may not be book smart, but I can assure you that I can be a fast learner when I want to be.”
The guilt dissipated, replaced with something else entirely. She didn’t know what it was, or she did, but she didn’t know if she should acknowledge it. But as quickly as it passed between them, it disappeared.
“Then where are you going?” Elphaba shrugged off her jacket and began unbuttoning her blouse.
“I’m just going to the washroom for a moment. I’ll be back in a clock tick.” Galinda said quickly. And then she closed the doors with a soft click.
Well, that was different. Elphaba couldn’t shake the feeling that she had walked in on something. But if Galinda wasn’t going to tell her, she was too tired to push her to share. Apparently, she had imagined her roommate saying her name.
While Galinda was in the washroom, Elphaba changed out of her uniform into her white nightgown and robe and sat at her desk. She wanted to try reading the passage one more time. She pulled her hair into a bun and clipped it, ensuring her hair wouldn’t fall into her face as she read.
She had just settled with the book at her desk when Galinda walked through the door.
“Elphie, I’ve been thinking that we—“ She paused as she saw Elphaba reading at her desk. “I thought you were done with studying.”
“I just need to finish this chapter and notes. It’ll just take an hour or so.” Elphaba explained.
Galinda sighed but approached Elphaba’s bed. Elphaba watched and raised her eyebrow in a question. “Is everything all right?” Elphaba asked.
Galinda threw herself on the bed and whined. “Elphie, we haven’t spent time together in days.”
“It’s been three days.” Elphaba reminded her, turning back to look at her book. She pulled out her notebook and pen and jotted something down.
“Yes, daysss.” Galinda emphasized the “s”. “Not just one. Madame Morrible has you for extra hours in her seminar and then you go to the library.”
Elphaba chuckled and was slightly surprised that Galinda had noticed her absence. She turned to look at her roommate again.
Galinda’s hair that had been slightly disheveled earlier, took on its usual bounce. Galinda’s lips pouted, and Elphaba could almost hear the pleas as Galinda batted her eyelashes. Tonight’s robe flowed to the ground and was tied with a bow at the top, like a cloak. The nightgown was a soft pink and fell right below her knees. The top was also tied together with a pink bow.
Who wore stuff like that just for sleeping?
“Just let me finish this, and then you’ll have me the rest of the night.”
Galinda groaned and then face planted into the bed. Elphaba raised her eyebrows and laughed quietly. This was the side of Galinda that begged for attention, which just made Elphaba not want to give in to her. Remnants of their past dynamic.
Without sparing another glance at Galinda, Elphaba continued reading the passage on levitation.
There was a creak on the floorboard, which told Elphaba that Galinda was probably going back to her bed, but then footsteps got louder, not softer. Strong fingers gripped her shoulders and began kneading. Elphaba’s pen stilled, and she sucked in a hard breath.
“You’re so tensified, Elphie.” Galinda said, standing above her.
There was a shift in the room at Galinda’s words, and every part of her that Galinda touched grew pliant and warm under her touch.
Elphaba closed her eyes and breathed deep as Galinda’s hands hit a particularly hard knot in her neck, probably from hunching over to read. She moaned involuntarily, too lost in the feel of Galinda’s fingers working through her stress to be quiet in her relief. The pressure lessened as Galinda leaned forward, and Elphaba wished that she would continue.
“Come on, Elphie.” Galinda pleaded, whispering into her ear. Her lips grazed Elphaba’s neck, causing her to tilt it to the side. Elphaba fought with disappointment when Galinda’s lips disappeared completely.
“You can finish this tomorrow. Right now, you need a break.” Galinda closed her book, but Elphaba’s finger held its place.
Elphaba hesitated but remembered the entire reason she had come home early was because she couldn’t stop thinking about her roommate. Maybe spending time with her would allow the constant thoughts to cease.
It was worth a try. Or that’s what she told herself.
Elphaba removed her hand, letting the book close, and then got up and sat on the bed. This earned a small applause from Galinda. Galinda quickly followed, sitting across from her, their knees almost touching.
“Ok, but I’m not sure how much more I can tell you about my childhood. It tends to get repetitive.”
“My sweet, sweet Elphie, I don’t want information. I want a rematch.” She said in a deeper tone. “I want my reputation back.”
Elphaba was confused. “What are you talking about? Your reputation is—”
“My reputation as champion of ‘Are You Thrillified?" Galinda interrupted. “I underestimated you last time, and now, I have to redeem myself.”
Elphaba wanted to laugh at the absurdity but kept her face even. Her mind drifted to three nights ago, and her body grew hot as she remembered. The way that Galinda had bragged had triggered her competitiveness, made her bolder. Elphaba had felt a thrill of confidence as she worked Galinda to near frustration. Galinda was not used to hiding her emotions.
Elphaba was.
And it caused Galinda to lose the game.
“But no one knows about that.” Elphaba pointed out.
Galinda leaned forward, brought her finger up to Elphaba’s lips, and shushed her.
“But I know, sweet Elphie.”
Elphaba narrowed her eyes. Galinda removed her hand and placed both on Elphaba’s knees, practically bouncing off of the bed.
“Please.”
Elphaba rolled her eyes, and then looked at her roommate again. Oz, this girl was so dramatic. Galinda’s gaze held her own, except for a fleeting moment when Galinda’s eyes glanced at her lips. As quickly as it happened, Galinda was looking into her eyes again. A shiver went down her spine at the idea of Galinda wanting to touch her again—at the thought of touching Galinda again—even if it was for a game.
“Fine. We can play.”
Galinda squealed and gestured. “After you.”
Elphaba made a show of thinking by adjusting her glasses on her nose. “Should I go first, or is it more polite to let the runner up go first?” She couldn’t help but tease.
When Galinda gasped and put her hand on her chest, Elphaba gave her a playful smirk.
“Ok, Elphaba Thropp,” Galinda nodded her head, a knowing grin on her face. She met Elphaba’s gaze straight on. “I would love to go first.”
Elphaba froze, wanting to take back her offer as Galinda tossed, tossed her hair back and settled into bed.
Galinda Upland’s confidence radiated from her petite frame, and Elphaba had a feeling this was going to be a lot more challenging than she thought.
Galinda sat on her knees and brought her hand up to Elphaba’s collarbone. Elphaba gasped softly, caught off guard that Galinda hadn’t touched her leg. Galinda’s touch wasn’t unsure, but it was soft, almost reverent. Galinda trailed her hand from Elphaba’s collarbone, down her chest, near her breast.
Elphaba tried to will herself to calm down, but her heart didn’t listen. It started beating traitorously as the hand finally stopped, resting above where Elphaba’s heart was.
Galinda paid careful attention throughout the entire journey of her hand and then met Elphaba’s eyes. There was a beat of silence. Elphaba’s lips parted, her breathing becoming faster and more labored the longer Galinda didn’t say anything. Galinda hadn’t even asked the question, and yet, Elphaba’s body was already starting to respond.
“Are you thrillified, Elphie?”
“No.” Her voice came out higher than intended, so she cleared her throat and repeated herself. “No.”
Then, she recalled something from the first game. “I have a question. Are you allowed to skip the leg?”
Galinda smiled sweetly as she let her hand fall.
“Elphie, that’s for young school girls who don’t know what they’re doing. You’re much more formidable.” Galinda leaned forward, her face was close to Elphaba’s ear. “When I said that you had permission to touch other parts of my body, I mean tonight too. Is that still true for you?”
Elphaba took in a sharp breath and nodded; her heart beating wildly in her chest. This version of Galinda was different from the one who played the first game. Not only was Galinda more straightforward, but she was also hiding her emotions better than she had before. And she seemed to know exactly what to say to get a reaction from Elphaba. No wonder she had taken Elphaba’s challenge with such enthusiasm in their first game. Galinda’s experience was evident, but there was something about Galinda that challenged Elphaba—emboldened her to want to outdo her friend. And maybe get some of the reactions she had received last time.
“Do you want to try something different?” Galinda teased. “Other than the leg.”
Elphaba raised her eyebrows at Galinda and took a second to plan her move. Remembering her disheveled hair earlier, Elphaba brought a hand up and ran her fingers through Galinda’s, finally stopping to rest on her cheek. Galinda leaned into the touch and closed her eyes, causing Elphaba’s heart to swell with validation. She massaged again, but allowed her fingers to drag just a bit, creating a slight tug, as she asked, “Galinda, open your eyes.” Remembering how Galinda had to constantly remind her their last game.
Galinda’s eyes opened, meeting hers.
“Are you thrillified?” Elphaba asked.
“No.” She shook her head, and then Elphaba removed her hand.
On Galinda’s turn, she brought her hand up towards Elphaba’s face. Elphaba thought it would stop at her cheek and was about to tease Galinda about copying her. But instead, she reached to the back of Elphaba’s bun and undid it, allowing her braids to fall across her shoulders. Before Elphaba could protest, Galinda also removed her glasses. Both movements brought Galinda’s face close enough to Elphaba’s that Elphaba could feel Galinda’s soft breath against her.
Galinda leaned past her shoulder and placed her glasses on the nightstand.
As she returned, her lips stopped right by Elphaba’s ear. “Trust me, Elphie, I’ll stay close enough that you can see me without them.”
The hair near where Galinda had whispered stood up, causing Elphaba to shudder.
Galinda smirked and asked, “Are you thrillified?”
Fearing her voice would betray her, Elphaba took a moment to compose herself. “No.”
Pulling inspiration from their last game, Elphaba brought her hand up to Galinda’s robe, and pulled on one of the ends. The bow unraveled easily, allowing Elphaba to push the robe off of Galinda’s shoulder so that she was only in her nightgown. Elphaba leaned closer, letting her fingers trail along Galinda’s skin as she pushed Galinda’s robe down her arms. She saw Galinda’s eyes flick down towards her lips.
The room suddenly felt too hot, and her own robe was too suffocating.
Galinda should have taken it off with the glasses.
Her own thoughts surprised her, reminding her of the “something else” that she couldn’t name earlier.
I can assure you that I can be a fast learner when I want to be. Her roommate had said.
Elphaba forced herself to concentrate on the present and asked, “Are you thrillified?”
This time, it was Galinda who cleared her throat. “Well played, but no.”
Galinda seemed to think about her next move, because she didn’t do anything for a moment. Then she shifted and placed her hands Elphaba’s knee pressing against them. “Spread your legs.”
Elphaba nearly choked. “Wh-what?”
Galinda pushed against Elphaba’s knees, repeating her request wordlessly. Elphaba felt a deep flush start at her face that went down to her toes and flared up the most at her core. Obediently, Elphaba spread her legs and placed her hands on her own knees. Galinda moved into the space that Elphaba’s legs had previously occupied so that they were still sitting face to face. Starting at the knee, moved both hands closer to the apex of Elphaba’s thighs, stopping just shy of it.
Galinda’s hands were so close to Elphaba’s core. Elphaba held her breath to see if Galinda’s hands were truly done moving.
“Are you thrillified?” Galinda asked.
“No.” Elphaba said, releasing a breath, even as she fought to keep her tone even and her hips still. She was sure she had never lied so much in her life.
Galinda smiled, her eyes drawing in a squint. Elphaba knew Galinda was annoyed, but as soon as it appeared, she concealed it again.
It was Elphaba’s turn now.
Galinda started to move back to where she was, but Elphaba reached out with both of her hands, at first to stop Galinda from moving away from this spot. But she found herself impatient to hear Galinda make the same sounds as the last time.
She placed them on Galinda’s lower back and was about to move lower but stopped. She looked into Galinda’s eyes, and seeing no objection, slid her hands underneath Galinda’s backside and pulled her friend into her lap. Galinda gasped at the unexpected movement.
And suddenly, they were right back where they had been the other day. Galinda straddled her, although Galinda wasn't on Elphaba’s thigh. Although her heart still raced, Elphaba was less panicked this time. Partially because she initiated this. And because this time around, she was able to take in more details.
In this position, Galinda’s dress had ridden up and bunched around the tops of her thighs. Elphaba couldn’t see very well from this angle, but she didn’t need to. She could feel the heat from Galinda’s core, just like before. Her body longed to readjust Galinda to her thigh and feel the arousal of Galinda sliding against her. The thought nearly caused Elphaba to moan out loud and sent a fresh wave of arousal through her own body.
Elphaba shifted to relieve the ache between her legs and adjusted so that they were stabilized. Galinda let out a soft moan as she settled, and then Elphaba leaned forward, brushing her lips over Galinda’s, but not pressing.
“Galinda, are you—”
Galinda cut her off and kissed her, softly at first and then with more intensity as Elphaba followed her instincts and ran her tongue along Galinda’s bottom lip. Galinda moaned into the kiss, sending heat down to Elphaba’s core.
Elphaba had been lying to herself earlier. There was no way that being with Galinda would have cleared her head. The way Galinda’s hands found their way to her scalp and gripped it when Elphaba grabbed her hips to guide her movement, Galinda’s groan as Elphaba licked her bottom lip, the nipples that peaked out from her roommates nightgown and brushed against her own hardened ones…
She’d just added a library’s worth of moments to her memory to relive.
A few moments later, both pulled back, breaths heavy. Elphaba’s lips were slightly swollen and tingled in the best way. There was a flush in cheeks, and when Galinda opened her eyes Elphaba almost gasped. The brown around Galinda’s pupils had nearly disappeared, eclipsed with a want she recognized because it mirrored her own.
She wanted this. Wanted her.
Oz, the realization struck Elphaba like lightning. Stole her breath from her lungs, like she missed a step and the momentary dread of falling made her gasp aloud.
“Are you thrillified?” Elphaba asked, breathless.
Elphaba didn’t know what she had been expecting. Maybe another admission, given that this had worked last time, but it was not so easy.
“No, Elphie, I’m not.” Galinda nearly panted out.
Elphaba wanted to call out her lie. Galinda Upland was unmistakably thrillified. She could feel heat radiating from Galinda’s center at the angle she was straddling. Could imagine a wet spot on Galinda’s underwear that was equal to her own. She stifled a moan at the thought. Selfishly, she was curious at how much further Galinda would draw this. Or how much further she’d let Elphaba go.
Elphaba nodded her head at Galinda, to start her turn. Galinda’s hands cradled her neck, as Elphaba prepared herself. But then, a flash of uncertainty passed as Galinda bit her cheek.
“Elphie,” Galinda said her name so softly, Elphaba almost didn’t hear it. “Earlier, when you said that I could touch you anywhere on your body, did you mean that?”
Elphaba’s eyes widened in surprise. The question sent a powerful shiver down Elphaba’s spine. Her stomach tightened in anticipation of what Galinda would attempt next.
“Yes,” Her voice came out a bit higher pitched than she had intended, and she repeated herself. “Yes.”
Galinda nodded. She adjusted her legs and then using her hips to guide them, pressed Elphaba back into the bed. Elphaba gasped as Galinda lowered them both.
Elphaba’s breath left her as her back touched the bed. The top of Elphaba’s head brushed the pillow, and Galinda let out a soft giggle as Elphaba shimmied on top of it.
All giggling ceased as Galinda shifted so that she straddled one of Elphaba’s thighs. For a moment, Elphaba was sure that Galinda was going to ask her to bring her leg up, but her eyes widened as Galinda shifted so that her thigh pressed into Elphaba’s core.
“Elphie, is this ok? Are you—”
But Elphaba didn’t hear her. Elphaba could only concentrate on the welcome intrusion of Galinda’s thigh finally where she needed it. She screwed her eyes tight, to concentrate on the feel of it, and she moaned as Galinda applied more pressure.
Without realizing it, Elphaba began moving along on Galinda’s thigh, too absorbed in the newness of the sensation and pleasure to give it too much thought or to care about the noises she was making. Galinda’s hands stayed on either side of Elphaba’s head as Elphhaba picked up the speed of her thrusts. There was a tightness that started low in her belly, and Elphaba could feel it begin to build into a release. She was almost there. But then, Galinda spoke. “Elphie, wait.”
Elphaba forced herself to stop moving at Galinda’s words and tipped her head back fighting a groan.
Did something happen? Had she done something wrong?
She opened her eyes, meeting Galinda’s, but there wasn’t any sign of discomfort. Elphaba’s eyebrows pinched together in confusion. “Are you okay?“
Galinda simply nodded and smirked. “Are you thrillified?”
She looked at Galinda, her mouth agape. “Are you serious?“
“Oh, I’m very serious, Elphie.” She punctuated her sentence with a kiss to Elphaba’s forehead. It was so different from the desperate touching Elphaba had just experienced.
She didn’t get to think about it much more because then Galinda lowered one elbow onto the bed. The position brought them impossibly close. Galinda’s full weight pressing her chest into Elphaba’s. Her right hand trailed down to where they were connected. Her fingers felt Elphaba’s folds through her underwear, eliciting a loud moan from Elphaba’s lips. Galinda began to explore her, the feeling of fingers against her instead of Galinda’s thigh caused Elphaba’s eyes to roll up. This was better, so much better. There was no use hiding how wet she was–Galinda could clearly feel it. And she was still so close. Galinda’s lips ghosted over the top of Elphaba’s breast.
“Are you thrillified?” She repeated.
Elphaba was having a hard time concentrating on anything as Galinda’s fingers glided against her again, near her clit but not nearly close enough. Galinda tilted her head up and smiled smugly as she moved her hand up and away from where Elphaba’s clit was. “Elphie,” Galinda reminded her, fingers dancing at the top of her underwear.
Elphaba let out a frustrated moan, trying to chase the friction with her hips, but Galinda’s hands kept her firmly in place. Who knew this girl had so much strength?
Elphaba huffed at the loss. “You—“
“We both know the answer.” Again, Galinda’s fingers pressed into her core, emphasizing the point and eliciting another moan from Elphaba’s lips. “But I just want to hear you say it. For thoroughness.” Galinda clarified.
Elphaba couldn’t believe the ridiculousness of it all. Galinda’s hand moved again to her hip, but Elphaba didn’t chase it this time. Instead, she brought her own knee up, connecting with Galinda’s core. It seemed to catch her off guard. Galinda moaned and looked at Elphaba with condemning eyes. Elphaba could feel Galinda’s arousal on her own leg, but Galinda held her hips still. Elphaba admired her determination.
“Elphaba Thropp, it is not your turn.” Galinda laughed. She leaned down, lips hovering near Elphaba’s ear. “But if you say it, I promise I’ll make it worth it.”
Galinda’s hands wandered lower, pushing into her underwear and brushing through damp, coarse hair coated in Elphaba’s arousal. Elphaba felt as her back arched, her nipples brushing against Galinda as they strained through the fabric of her nightgown.
“I’m thrillified.” Elphaba admitted, breathless. She tilted her head up. “Please, I need–”
Elphaba didn’t get to finish her sentence, because Galinda kissed her at the same time her fingers found Elphaba’s clit. Elphaba and Galinda moaned into the kiss. At the second swipe, against her clit, both of them gasped. The sensation of feeling Galinda’s fingers against her without the barrier of her underwear was so different from her own and yet far more satisfying. Galinda’s hand stilled, which Elphaba used to take control as she thrust against the hand. Her arousal made it easy as she continued her movements. Elphaba anchored one hand in Galinda’s hair and brought her other hand to grip Galinda’s back as she moved. She separated her lips from Galinda’s after a few moments, panting and thrusting faster. More desperate.
Galinda’s lips found the same spot on her neck and kissed with renewed fervor. A part of her wanted Galinda to bury her fingers inside, but Elphaba was so close already she knew she didn’t need it.
“Galinda,” She panted, breath hitching as she tried to warn her roommate about her impending orgasm.
Galinda leaned her forehead against Elphaba’s and nodded. “I’ve got you.”
As she came with a loud moan, Galinda muffled it by pressing her lips to Elphaba’s. Galinda kept her strokes light, allowing Elphaba to recover.
Once Elphaba’s pants had subsided, Galinda nudged her nose with her own. Galinda removed her hand from Elphaba’s underwear but kept it on her hip.
“Elphie?”
“Hmm?” Elphaba said, her body feeling slow and lethargic after releasing the tension in her body.
“Elphie, look at me.”
Elphaba obeyed, opening her eyes to see her roommate’s hair disheveled once more. There was an uncertainty in Galinda’s gaze, which was so uncharacteristical. Elphaba smiled and ran her fingers through Galinda’s hair again, wanting to give some reassurance.
“Are you okay? I know I probably should have asked since it was your first time, but—”
Elphaba pressed her lips to Galinda’s. When she pulled back, Galinda’s eyes were still closed, lips still pursed as if to ask for another kiss. “I’m okay.”
There was a slight hesitancy to Galinda that felt out of place. Remembering her own vulnerability after their first game, Elphaba reached for the hand on her hip and brought it to rest on her chest, allowing Galinda to feel her heart beat hammer in her chest.
“Feel.” She repeated Galinda’s words back to her.
It wasn’t nearly as strong as a few moments ago, but it was there, and based on the way Galinda smiled back and nudged Elphaba’s nose from her own, she understood.
They both smiled, and then Galinda leaned forward and captured Elphaba’s lips in a kiss.
It started off innocently enough, but Galinda’s tongue ran along Elphaba’s bottom lip, and Elphaba opened to her. While Galinda’s hand stayed propped on Elphaba’s chest, Elphaba brought her leg up, meeting Galinda’s core again.
They both gasped at the connection.
She’s more wet than before. Elphaba noted.
Galinda moaned against Elphaba’s lips as she ground on Elphaba’s thigh. Elphaba flexed, giving Galinda more friction against her clit.
“Oz, Elphie.”
The way that Galinda murmured her name, sent another pool of wetness through her. Her name on Galinda’s lips. Her name through the door…
Elphaba’s eyes flew open in realization. The thought so intense, Galinda must have sensed a shift in her, because she stopped her movements and raised an eyebrow at Elphaba.
“Elphie?”
“Can I ask a question?” Elphaba asked, panting.
The truth to this game lay right in front of them, although they hadn’t named it out loud. The touches they’d experienced so far were part of this ruse, this contest that allowed Elphaba and Galinda to prod without the need to name the feeling.
Elphaba knew it. Of course, she did. Why else would Galinda have occupied her mind for days, months even. But Elphaba wanted Galinda to admit it again, the way she had minutes ago as Galinda touched her.
Galinda’s eyebrows knit together. “Yes, Elphie. What—”
“What were you doing before I walked into the room?”
