Strictly Professional

Summary:

Teki, Denma, and Giro have been colleagues and work as teachers in Arei High School for older than 20% of the students enrolling there. They've seen each other as close friends and close friends only.

Well, at least one of them.

Notes:

this is a work made in spite to THREE. PEOPLE in which i DESPISE with my heart. this work is supposed to be SATIRICAL and absolute SHIT. do not expect more chapters or better writing

if you know me irl or clock the real names of these people, do NOT and i repeat do NOT say the ship name/real names of those people in the comments. esp to those who are in the same school as me. if i get in trouble (which i probably wont) because of this you'll get your ass dragged in on it too lmao

Chapter 1: Two of Them?!

Chapter Text

Giro has always kept his relationships at school professional.

He never went drinking, partying, making out, or doing anything of that sort with the people he saw every day in his office. And he'd like to keep it that way. He liked how it made him value his real sexual relationships more (though they always died short), and it kept him at a safe but not concerning distance away from the Alphas near him. He wasn't the only Omega on the teachers' staff, of course not, but he was the only Omega without a relationship. He respected himself and his fellow teachers, and he kept that belief for years. He'd see teachers come and go, get together and leave together, and he'd simply smile and laugh awkwardly whenever his colleagues would tease him about it. Eventually, he met two people who had the same opinion as him: Teki and Denma.

Teki used to be the president of the student council before graduating and rising up the ranks to principal. He was always good at leading and maintaining information; even Giro could see the attractiveness in him. He was also charming and (surprisingly) good-looking. Denma was a top student back when Giro and Teki were in high school; in fact, all three of them used to go to Arei High School. Denma was such a good student that his trophies from back then are still displayed in the main hall. It was safe to say that Giro felt at home befriending the two Alphas. Especially Denma, since he was a teacher like him. Giro felt a little too at home.

Giro has always kept his relationships at school slightly professional.

He hadn't noticed how he'd wake up early every day to take longer to get ready, how he would shift in his seat when Denma showed up a little bit late, how Giro would look up at the rain with his umbrella hidden deep inside his bag. Giro shook these feelings and actions off as just "being friendly"; there was no way in hell Giro was going to fall head over heels for his own colleague. How was he going to act around both of them when three of them were already getting on so well as just friends? Now he was writing up schedules for the school's field trip to the aquarium, with that short black hair and strong, stern eyes as his stupid view just before he had to teach his first class.

Giro stopped whatever he was doing to peer over his monitor, taking a glance at what Denma was doing. The man wasn't even doing anything interesting, just reading up on the staff calendar; his eyes barely scanning over the paper, elbow on the desk, and his hand resting against his cheek. Giro caught himself before he started to ogle at his poor friend, pushing up his glasses and getting back to typing up those schedules. Denma seemed to notice how his friend was acting stiff.

"Is there something wrong?" He asked, which made Giro's fingers freeze. His mind was teetering on ignoring his friend or lying straight to his face when he was clearly not okay and there was something wrong. The long wait made Denma sit up, peering over his screen to look at him. Giro let himself have a pathetic smile, crooked and different from his usual ones. "It just feels a little hot in here.." he lied through his teeth. "I think I need a moment outside." Giro suddenly stood up and rushed outside, he couldn't risk the black-haired man to worry over him about something secretly stupid. And besides, he had to be outside anyway.

He needed to greet the students for their morning periods. He stood in front of the gate, fixing himself a bit as students started to walk towards the school. Some teachers were just arriving too, with the man in glasses greeting them and the students with a practiced smile. He was so focused on acting normal he forgot to greet the principal (and close colleague, God, what the fuck was he doing, Giro?) when he parked his motorcycle in front of the school to the side as usual.

"Mr. Asanuma," called Teki. "are you there?" He waved his hand in front Giro's face, making the man in glasses flinch and immediately greet him. Teki let out a chuckle and crossed his arms, standing next to Giro. "You were staring off and greeting nothing for the past minute." Those words made the man in glasses fluster, heat creeping from his neck to his face. When did the students stop coming over to the gates? How did he not notice? Why the hell was Teki standing so close to him—

No. He couldn't take too long to answer. He was already acting weird in front of Denma, he couldn't pay acting weird in front of the principal, of all people. "I came out to go get some fresh air," he answered. "I guess I should exercise with the students during P.E.." He joked, letting out a painfully forced laugh. He could see how the long-haired man's face winced, but laughed alongside him. "If something's wrong, you know you can always tell me, right? Outside of work, too." Teki said with an uncharacteristic amount of unease. Now he had two people worrying over him, Giro deadpanned. He shook his head and pushed his glasses up. As soon as he was about to speak up, his eyes flickered to the principal for just a moment.

The way his eyebrows furrowed just slightly, to the way his lips were pursed and his hair was done exactly right in the light. He almost looked.. cute? He noticed the shine in Teki's eyes, and Giro visibly shivered. There was no way he was falling for his other friend as well. Was he going through his heat early? Had he even taken anything to get this sort of reaction towards his friends?  Teki tilted his head after Giro shivered, and Giro smiled the exact same way he did when Denma asked him if there was anything wrong. "I'm doing alright, Mr. Rei. I might be under the weather." Teki's face slowly went back to normal, hearing that Giro was at least a little bit okay, and the man in glasses sighed. He felt like a burden was lifted off of his shoulders.

It was lunch break, with an hour or two left to spare. The school had a seminar and an event so the only period they had that day was Giro's P.E class.  And it wasn't even that much, Giro had to look after a soccer match so it was practically a free period too. Well, that didn't matter. He didn't have to think about the man when he was clearly in a situation in which he couldn't think of him. Denma had tried desperately hard not to give into his temptations, but it seemed like his Enigma wanted the former. He was pinned against the suspiciously spacious desk (had that bastard been thinking about doing this all day?), with Teki's knee in between his legs. Every kiss and lick made his knee go up, causing Denma to shiver and try even harder to keep his mouth shut. Denma could practically smell Teki's arousal; musky, with a hint of pine and syrup to it. He attempted to pull away from the heated moment between the both of them, but it only made Teki grind up against him more, and he had to slam his lips against the Enigma's so the people outside wouldn't hear a teacher and the principal get it on.

"Teki—" He managed to mumble against his lips, only being able to see the former's yellow eyes boring into his. "—you couldn't even wait until the end of school?" He finally got to push Teki's face off of his, holding his face with his hand. Teki simply stared down at him with an almost lustful and predatory gaze. Denma clicked his tongue and stood up straighter, a horrible mistake, as he slipped and lost his grip on Teki's face. He thought he was about to be pulled in for another kiss, only for the long-haired man to lean into his neck, which was arguably much worse. "Maybe I'm just coming into heat again." He hummed, kissing at it. The man was horny, but not horny enough to leave hickeys on his co-worker. That'd be too obvious. "If you're looking for a quickie, I'm not doing it." Denma snapped back, which made the long-haired man whine. The black-haired Alpha always knew how to shut him down.

"Just once?" Teki leaned away slightly, showing his eyes looking up at him. It looked almost pathetic. Was this the same man who scented the living hell out of him because of Giro? Denma had to watch himself, he had lost to those stupid puppy dog eyes multiple times already. His hand reached up and tangled itself with Teki's long hair, rubbing his scalp which earned a noise from the Enigma. Denma shook his head, but left the possibility of only staying like this for the entire lunch break possible. "You'll get yourself fired, Teki." Denma said exasperatedly. Teki leaned in again and continued kissing at his neck, occasionally letting Denma feel his teeth so the man knew he could bite at any time. While Denma let Teki get his fill, scenting and nuzzling into him like an overbearing dog, he heard a knock on the door. Then, a familiar voice. Teki immediately withdrew from Denma, which was unfortunately disappointing for the latter, and both of them immediately started to panic. They weren't expecting staff or a student to come knock on the principal's office at this time, everyone except for them should've been listening to the seminar. How long has the person been there?

"Mr. Rei? It's me, Mr. Asanuma. I just wanted to talk about this morning..."

Chapter 2: What Was That?

Summary:

Giro would stand in front of the principal's office, holding the printed papers close to him nervously as he wanted to talk to Teki outside of work. He didn't know that somewhere in that room that Denma, his closest friend, was currently getting smothered to death by the man he wanted to talk with.

And that the two men he, Giro, fell in love with were together.

Chapter Text

Teki stared daggers into the door as the shadow that was Giro continued to knock and call out for him. Even though he had pulled away from the Alpha, he was still obviously holding him close. On Denma's end, he was barely even worried. He should've been, but the way Teki froze in his tracks like a deer in headlights was too funny and surprising he had completely forgotten to react to their co-worker just being outside. Being this quiet risked Giro simply walking in, though. So he elbowed Teki in the stomach and gave him a look. The Enigma pulled back fully and fixed himself up, helping his Alpha with the buttons on his shirt and brushing his hair back so he looked like he wasn't licking up their close friend like dessert. Teki slipped into his principal persona, wearing his "golden boy" persona once more. He walked over and opened the door, greeting the man in glasses with a friendly grin. It looked almost forced.

"What are you doing here, Mr. Asanuma? You're supposed to be at the seminar," He looked at his watch, even though he read absolutely nothing. "it's only an hour left." Giro forced a similar smile back, handing the field trip papers to him first. If he were to discuss outside matters immediately, he was afraid of ending it on awkward terms. He would rather crawl into a shell and die than break contact with people he saw daily. "As I said..." Giro started with an exasperated sigh. "I wanted to talk outside of school matters." Teki acted like he was surprised, nodding and letting the man into his office. It was safe to assume Denma was back to being.. colleagues. The Omega made himself at home since it wasn't the first time he had been to the principal's office. He usually spent his time here discussing mundane interests with Teki or talking about the weather over the sound of the printer engines humming with Denma. He sat at the empty desk, which used to be his, but he gave it up for another teacher who had resigned because he didn't need two offices. It was weird that although plenty of teachers needed two spaces, it only took a week before the principal's office only had Denma and Teki's left. The man in glasses brushed it off as he was losing track of what they were going to talk about. How long has he been easily distracted? A few weeks? Only today? And why was the office more suffocating than usual? It reeked of pine.

"So you're finally talking about it," The principal teased, earning a huff from Giro. "even if it didn't take you an entire day." The long-haired man was sitting across from Giro, so he had his body turned towards him. He leaned his hand on his palm oh-so casually, and the Omega finally began explaining. It took minutes of stumbling and muttering for him to get his point across, but it seemed like both the principal (and Denma, who the man in glasses completely forgot about) understood what he meant. Giro wanted a short break, even though it was only a week before the field trip. He felt like his pheromones were getting in the way, and that if he didn't get it checked something would definitely happen. It had been awhile since he went to renew his scent blockers, too. Teki leaned back and stretched the hand he was leaning on, letting out a yawn and stretching his upper body. Denma gave the Enigma an awkward look, which immediately set alarms in Giro's head. He ignored it immediately. "I hope you can understand..." He stuttered, pushing up his glasses and fidgeting with his fingers.

He was about to continue until the Enigma across him cut him off with a lazy smile. "Don't worry!" He exclaimed, standing up and going over to him. Giro shrank instinctively and then backtracked. The long-haired man reached out with one arm and happily ruffled his hair, the dark-brown locks soft and emitting a pleasing scent for the Enigma. "You've been so busy these past few weeks. You deserve some rest." The first thing the Omega felt was warmth that started from the top of his head, where Teki was petting him, and spread towards his entire being like those full-body shivers he had been experiencing for a few days. He was usually okay with Teki patting him, so why did he feel so flustered now? He was far from complaining, though. He found it comforting. He hoped, no, prayed that both of them would take it as something friendly. Teki patted his head a couple of times more, tilting his head with the same lazy smile as the talk between the two. Even if Giro didn't want to admit it, he felt as if time stopped. Once Teki finished messing up his hair even more, the Enigma felt like that was enough and took a step back. He let out a small snicker when he got the full picture: a slightly red-faced Giro with his hair sticking out in multiple spots with his glasses slightly off-center. The long-haired man had to contain himself. He couldn't just ruffle his hair up even more, he was already testing himself and his friend by ruffling his hair for so long. Giro stood up and brushed his hair to be a little bit less disheveled, giving a small wave to the two men in the room. He slithered out of the door, and a deep sigh he didn't even know he was holding slipped out.

Teki sat back down in his seat and buried his face in his arms, making the Alpha who was still in the room with him scoff. Teki leaned his cheek on the table, tapping his foot impatiently. Denma would always look obviously jealous whenever Teki teased Giro, but wouldn't speak up on it. Apparently, giving his poor partner (would he even classify Teki as a "partner"?) the silent treatment always suited best for him. Teki reluctantly turned his head to look at Denma, half-lidded eyes dragging themselves over his stern figure. The black-haired man seemed to give up, grabbing the field trip's papers. He rolled the thick sheets and marched up to the sulking man, whacking him harshly with the makeshift bat. "What the hell were you thinking?!" His clipped tone echoed in the office. His words fell on deafened ears, though, as his victim only narrowed his eyes and hissed at the pain. "You were the one that told me his scent spikes when we're around him!" He whined. Since the long-haired man was an Enigma, heats and ruts didn't effect him as badly as Betas, Omegas, or Alphas. Knowing this information, Denma just felt even more anger towards him. He whacked him again. "This is why you don't hang out with Alphas and Omegas who are glued to you." He crossed his arms, and the other replied with a groan. He sat up groggily and snatched the papers away from Denma before he gave him more brain damage. "You're lucky he's just dense towards his feelings, Teki," The black-haired pulled a chair and sat a little bit to Teki's side. The long-haired man leaned his head back, baring his neck, and covered his eyes with the rolled stack of paper. "because if he wasn't into us as I've predicted he would've gotten your ass beat and thrown across the prefecture." Denma added, and poked at the side of Teki's neck. The man flinched and slapped his hand away, a huff of a laugh coming out of him. "Right, right." The Enigma stood up, putting down the stack of paper. Coincidentally, the bell rang, which marked the end of their lunch break. Both of them had to get back to teaching.

"What class are you teaching next, Mr. Masahito?" Teki sneered, grabbing his supplies. The Alpha made a gagging noise, and punched the other in the shoulder. "Economics. For the rest of my teaching days here, Mr. Rei." Leave it up to Denma to reply back with something similar, the man had always been this way particularly towards Teki. After a few final touch-ups, Denma exited out of the principal's office first, with the long-haired man trailing after him. Once the two fell into step, Denma took a sharp turn towards his class and stood his ground in front of it. "You're not coming with me again, Mr. Rei." He scolded, which made the other let out a whine. "You'll be late for your own class! Aren't you subbing for Mrs. Saito?" The Alpha turned around to check if anyone was looking at them through the class door, and for once he was relieved that his students were tardy. The man he was scolding grumbled, putting his hands on his hips and looking down on the floor. He looked visibly frustrated in public that it made Denma hide his schadenfreude. Teki was so doomed for both him and Giro, he wasn't acting like the "golden boy" anymore. The Alpha thought to himself.

Denma started his class with a majority of his students inside, giving them five to ten minutes to get themselves ready since he was not feeling teaching Economics. He put his book down on the teacher's desk and his pouch, sitting down and opening his laptop to take attendance. He could hear the conversations between the students that were already there, catching a few words but paying no mind. As he was calling out various names, the class next to them banged against the thin wall between them. It was then followed by several laughs and Giro's voice clearly scolding but also playing with them. Why wasn't Giro using the gymnasium? Denma thought to himself, hiding his scowl and continuing with attendance. When he got halfway through the list, he realized that they were cleaning up after the seminar. Of course Giro would be a worrywart and use the already small and messy classrooms to do his job as a P.E teacher. Denma thought to himself again. He waved it off and stood up, finishing attendance and getting on with teaching. They were doing some light revising, the Alpha mindlessly droning on about numbers, exercises, and rates when it clicked to him.

Denma was jealous towards Giro the entire day.

The black-haired man's marker stilled against the whiteboard, many thoughts swirling in his head. Mostly about his hatred towards the stupid Enigma, but him being jealous towards a male Omega (he had nothing against it, just surprising for someone like him) was the one that stuck and drilled into his head the most. His students called out to him several times, and Denma had to manually drag his finger away from the whiteboard. He turned around and smiled, a first for the class, closing the cap of his marker. It had only been an hour, and he was supposed to teach for two. But there was no way that he was going to listen to Giro's class having fun while his was the equivalent of a silent film. "How would you all feel if I made our second hour free?" Without even finishing his breath, the entire class burst into yells of agreement and shouts that Denma thought of taking it back. He went over and sat back down to his seat, packing up his book and pouch before opening his phone to message Teki. He excused himself and gave the class a page to work on and read, so that later on when he was eating the principal's face off for servicing an Omega he didn't feel like a lazy ass.

Teki slammed open the door, hair a total mess and definitely sweaty. It was a visible difference to the other man in his office, already ripping up the field trip schedules and other documents Giro handed him during the talk for his leave. The poor Enigma had to catch his breath first, since his class was all the way up in the fourth floor. Surprisingly, he got to the office faster than when he was going to his period. "What are you—" His tone was completely different from how he usually made it to be, shocked and slightly angry. "—we need that for the field trip! What is going on with you?" Teki marched on over and held both of his wrists, and Denma looked at him through his lashes. The Enigma stalled for a moment, because he'd be lying if he said he wasn't into the jealousy the black-haired man was feeling. Teki leaned in a little closer, staring him down. "What is it that you want, Denma? Answer my question." Teki could see Denma choke against the scent of musk and pine, but continued to press on. "You're steeping really low by ripping up important documents because of someone you said I can pursue," His hand let go of one of his wrists, tilting Denma's head slightly up. The black-haired man wasn't that short compared to the other, but Teki really needed to see the face he had on right now. "and I've already scented you during lunch break." That earned him a click of the tongue as well the Alpha leaning even closer to his face. "What I want is my scent on you. I'm sick of you sucking up to the P.E teacher while I smell like a forest." Denma leaned even closer, lips ghosting against the other. His tongue crept out to lick up the Enigma's, before pressing his lips in a hot kiss. Teki was so unfocused during the events leading up to that damned kiss that all he could do was let out a surprised sound, and the Alpha successfully got his other hand free from the other man's grasp. His hands flung to slip under the man's shirt, feeling at his sides before resting at his hips.

Whenever Denma took charge, it was always messy. That man never knew how to initiate things even if it killed him. That's why Teki was always the one doing things, but the way Denma's feelings got in the way as well made it even messier. He didn't care about the volume of his sounds, all he wanted was to put Teki in a little box and kick him. His hands let go of his hips and went at his hair, tangling his fingers in them and pulling roughly. Their lips seperated at that, a string of saliva connecting them both before Denma licked them off. He kissed down from the corner of the long-haired man's mouth to his chin, jaw, pulse point, and Adam's apple. He found a good spot at the crook of his neck, and bit harshly. Teki was good at concealing sounds, but in a situation like this the man couldn't help but whimper. It took the Alpha multiple bites for his scent to fully overbear the Enigma's, fruity with a mix of cinnamon and syrup of all sweet smells. The long-haired man's face was completely red, eyes dazed and glossed over with his hair sticking out in all the wrong places. Denma felt something press against him, and when he looked up Teki immediately darted his eyes away. The Alpha smirked and his hand traveled down his hair to palm against him, coaxing a reaction from the usually dominant Enigma. "Denma.." He managed to say clearly, head lolling down a bit. He breathed through his teeth, hands holding the black-haired man's shoulders. "Please, if you're going to do that then do it back home..." The Alpha's smirk widened, and he put more pressure, making the Enigma moan. Good. He was finally getting there.

"I'm not watching you stick to Giro like a parasite after I've done this." He said simply, and Teki whimpered again. Denma pulled away and dragged the pliant man over to the drawers and cupboards where no one could see them from the door, going down on his knees in front of him. He played with the buckle of his belt, playing with it and drawling out the moment to further tease Teki. The Enigma seemed to get himself together, since his hand gripped at the back of Denma's hair roughly. "Get on with it." He spat, and Denma rolled his eyes. He pulled down his pants, then his boxers, and marveled at the size of that thing.  "You know, I'm never getting used to seeing something like that every day." He joked, and Teki winced at it. He was painfully hard, and the Alpha was just cracking jokes. Eventually, he did take him in halfway, saving the sore throat for later tonight. His hand went up and started to stroke the base, his lips busy at the tip. Swirling his tongue and sucking, it made Teki's grasp on his hair even tighter and harder to not ignore.

He was definitely going to have fun with him.

Chapter 3: A Day of Chocolates

Summary:

It's time to confess to the one you love. That wasn't a problem for Teki, since he's gotten so many gifts on this exact day that it felt normal to wake up with people he knew nothing about handing him bags of chocolate and then go back to his dorm with tons of letters sitting on his bed.

What wasn't normal was his reaction when one anonymous love letter had a scent that he could smell.

Chapter Text

February 14th, 20XX.

That was the day Teru first met Denma, well, his scent, in the very bottom of the list he had of his love letters. The man loved reading them since he could find things people loved that he didn't even know he had, and laugh at some because of how wrong they were. Finishing up reading another bunch, he rummaged through the lessening pile until he found a unique one. It was just a paper folded into two, and there were barely any words. The Enigma could spot it from how harsh the writer pressed their pen against the paper, and how it ripped and had holes in some spots. Did this person hate him or really like him? And why did the room feel so crowded all of a sudden? All of those questions were going to be answered as soon as he opened the forbidden letter, but he just couldn't. The letter had a certain smell to it: strongly fruity, oddly syrupy, and the sensation of cinnamon he hated so much. This couldn't be perfume or cologne, but he doubted it was the pheromonal smell of an Alpha or Omega. Teki couldn't smell scents, after all. That alone scared him, he didn't care if the contents inside that letter were full of hatred or impure love. God knows how strong the writer's scent was if even the Enigma could recognize it.

After leaning his head back and watching the ceiling fan spin endlessly, he decided to peel the piece of paper off and read it. What's the point of a letter if you won't read it? He thought to himself. He was sitting on the floor, so he leaned against his own bed and brought his knees up to his chest. Reading it with one hand while the other played with the carpet underneath. The contents weren't vile, per se, but they weren't friendly. The supposed Alpha who wrote this apparently hated his guts and loved them at the same time, it felt like reading a dialogue from some stereotypical tsundere in an otome game. The letter was somehow the most interesting one out of all of the letters the long-haired man read overnight, so he grit his teeth and continued. A few "I hate you"s and "Move away from my dorm building forever"s and he finished it, tears welling up in his eyes from both the insults and how funny it was. He searched everywhere for a signature or some sign of identity, but all it said was just "someone from one of your classes". Yeah right, like that helped.

The Enigma threw away all of the letters soon afterwards, wiping his hands to get whatever substance he got from the letters and headed on taking a long soak in the bath. He didn't have anyone in particular to spend the evening with, and he still had one more class. He grabbed his toiletries and stuff and headed in the bathroom, with the hot water prepped and waiting for him. He tied his hair into a neat bun and slowly sunk himself in, a sigh of relief echoing the bathroom walls. He loved silence, it treated him better than anyone and anything. He sunk in the water deeper, eyes drooping halfway shut because of how relaxed he felt. He was rethinking about the letters and chocolates again, noting his favorite letters and good chocolate brands so he could eat them outside of Valentine's. The man was too lazy to get out of the warm tub to wash his hair, so once he decided it was enough soaking, he leaned over the tub and grabbed his showerhead. Untying his bun easily, he wet it with boiling hot water (something that wasn't deadly for his hair, apparently) and started to wash his hair. He kept himself distracted by humming songs and imagining the letters again. Then, it hit him.

"Move away from my dorm building forever"? But the dorms are seperated by gender...

The revelation wasn't something shocking to the "goodlooking" man, because numerous of people have confessed to Teki. Mostly women, but he had his fair share of men coming after him too. It was the fact that the letter was so different in various ways as well as the Enigma being able to detect the writer's scent that he ended up overthinking it and pulling his showerhead down, his hair against his face and the water entering his nose and lungs. He coughed violently, dropping the showerhead and trying to pull his heavy hair away so he wouldn't die pitifully in the shower. All of his struggling noises and grunts eventually caused the door to slam wide open, and his neighbor, Mirai, clicked his tongue and casually went over and helped him. When Teki finally got some air, he coughed out some water and got it all over his roommate's leg. "Teki, how many times have I told you to shower properly?!" He scolded, slapping the top of his head and retching at the water on his knee. He pulled back to wipe it off with the Enigma's towel, and put it back.

"Stop being a damn kid and look after yourself, you even threw out all of your confessions in the dorm dumpster! You can flex on us all you want for getting a lot of chicks but throwing all those scents away is a waste." And Teki practically shivered at that. His roommate shouldn't even be thinking about scents when he was literally naked and steamy in a shower. "You already know I can't smell that shit," He muttered, and turned around to face the bathroom wall. Mirai knew what his meant and sighed reluctantly, grabbing a stool and sitting on it. "now help me wash off. You don't want me to drown again, do you?" He pouted in his tone, which sent shivers down his roommate's spine immediately. He swallowed some vomit and helped him wash off, with Teki trying to muster up a question that he knew he'd die to again. "Y'know, Mirai," He started, hand spread on the bottom of the tub, rubbing the surface. "do you know any Alphas with strong scents?" That question alone made the roommate's grip loosen a bit on the showerhead, wettening his shirt a little but he maintained his composure again. "I know a few, why're you asking? You can't detect smells like that." And I doubt Alphas come to you. They all think you're one. He added mentally, but held out on that. The long-haired man flushed from his nape to his face, looking away as Mirai scrubbed his scalp. "I read the letters as usual, and one of them was new. The scent was familiar, but it was stronger than usual—"

"You could smell that one?!" Mirai yelled out, making Teki cover his ears and scowl. He buried his face in his knees and fidgeted in the tub, water splashing around him and spilling out of the tub. "It smelled syrupy, fruity, and spicy? It was like an Omega and an Alpha fused and made whatever the hell I read." He muttered, and Mirai immediately replied. "You mean a Beta? A Beta wrote to you?" Mirai's excitement went down, and he lead Teki to lean his head back so he could wash his head properly. Sensing his disappointment, Teki's roommate sighed, patting the wet hair and getting out the knots. "I do know someone who fits that. I doubt he's interested, though." He let out a little chuckle at that, which intrigued the Enigma. So they're probably a he. The long-haired man thought, looking at the flickering light above them. Once he felt the suds and bubbles drain down, he turned and faced Mirai. "Introduce me to him, will ya?" He said with an enthusiastic look, which made his roommate drown him in water. "Don't act so happy when I'm bathing you. You're like a kid."

__

Suspiciously, when the Enigma got the notification that both Mirai and the mysterious Alpha were available at lunch, he immediately started to care a lot about his appearance. More than his hair, and that's saying something. He worried about his complexion, his outfit style, even down to the color combination. He shouldn't be worrying about someone and something as pointless as this. He was popular, for God's sake! He could've shown up in rags and the Alpha he was going to meet would still fall in love with him! (that said, if he didn't fall in love with the Alpha first) He ended up choosing a white button-up shirt, a dark green cardigan, and some comfortable jeans. He didn't want to be too overbearing while also keeping it just a little flashy. He checked his phone dozens of times to be just a little bit late so he wouldn't look like he was excited for the occasion. Once the timing was right, he rushed out the door and speed walked his way to the nearby café. It was one of his favorite spots to study with Mirai, so he knew the way there particularly well. He fixed his hair up more on the way, texting his roommate about the seats, and insisted on paying. If he fell in love with this person, he wanted to give off a good impression first.

Because of the way he ran towards the café, he was unfortunately early and reserved seats for the two guests coming over later. Everything was going wrong for him, and he hadn't even started talking to the writer. He decided to distract himself by doing some assignments, giving off a scholarly vibe while also giving off the "drinks black coffee to impress girls" vibe. Mirai's voice eventually caught on to Teki, as well as the strong scent of syrup. That was definitely them. He turned around and gave the best smile he got, in the middle of a sweet introduction until he saw the absolute hatred in the black-haired man's eyes. That man definitely did not want to be there, and in all honesty, Teki felt like he wanted to get out too. Mirai chuckled nervously and sat the Alpha down first, then getting himself comfortable just across. The Enigma and Alpha sat awkwardly, the assignment open on the long-haired man's laptop completely forgotten. His eyes darted over to the black-haired man, and he couldn't help but gush. They were both wearing the same outfit. Well, the Alpha was wearing something much monotone with cargo pants. Teki opened his mouth to talk again and got shut down immediately. "Why did you call me here?" He spat, and suddenly the entire café felt extremely cold.

Teki decided to get straight to it, and he quickly slipped into his "charming" persona again.  "You were the one who gave me that letter, right? The one with the holes and scratchy handwriting—" He immediately got cut off again with a barely-there mutter, and Teki narrowed his eyes. "—and strong scent!" He finally got one sentence out, which seemed to make the Alpha even more pissed, and the other man crossed his arms. "I needed to get my anger out at you somehow and sometime." He started to explain, and his eyes widened in realization. "Wait, you read all of them?!" He stood up abruptly, pointing an accusing finger and gritting his teeth. "You narcissistic fuck! You get off of those?!" Where did he get that assumption? Teki thought, a sweat beading on his forehead for two reasons. He didn't know why the Alpha was acting this hostile to him when Teki didn't even know his name, and the Alpha was severely hotter than him. Goodness, why wasn't he the one that was famous?! "Woah, woah, don't get to assumptions there.. I don't even know your nam—" And he got cut off again. The Alpha, now known as Masahito Denma, yelled it out and ruffled Teki's hair aggressively. If his stern looking face didn't make him turn his head, his attitude sure did now. Denma was extremely close with Teki.

Denma took a glance at Mirai, and Mirai nodded. The whole thing up to this moment looked premeditated now, and the Enigma was about to complain, when the Alpha pulled his hair up and gave him a harsh kiss on the lips. He bit his bottom lip hard, and pulled away to wipe his lips from blood. "That felt good." The black-haired man muttered, and sat back down while letting go of the long, green hair he was holding. Teki just sat there shocked, absolutely frozen. Denma, at that reaction, just scoffed and opened the menu to browse. His roommate burst into laughter and grabbed a tissue to wipe at his bottom lip. "He just hates you, that's what." Mirai snapped his fingers and made the Enigma get his head out of the gutter a little. "Still want me to introduce you to him?"

All Teki wanted to answer was "Very much so, definitely."

Chapter Text

"Welcome, welcome to the official interview with the main cast of 'Strictly Professional'! I'm your host, █████, and today we'll be reading all your questions to your (not so favorite) favorite characters!"

___

1. "How does Giro's actor feel about the threesome ship with him, Teki, and Denma?"

GIRO: "To be honest, I don't see Denma with Giro.. Even though Giro had fallen in love with him first, then Teki. Denma seems to be protective over Teki, especially in the second chapter."

DENMA: "Don't even talk about that!"

GIRO: "I feel like it would be an interesting trio: Giro and Denma having to babysit Teki's shenanigans, Teki having to deal with Denma's jealousy after bringing in a third person.. I honestly can't wait to get to that part later on in the series. I feel curious, to say the least."

2. "Would Teki's actor realistically (fuck) fall in love with Denma's?"

TEKI: "I'm not that into crazy guys. I feel like dating him would honestly drive me nuts! I'm more of a 'go with the flow' type of guy, so having a fiancé who'd rip up papers 'just because' would make me want to run away and change my identity."

DENMA: "..I think they asked if you would rather date me, not the character, idiot. And I wouldn't date you either! You're obnoxious and rude and gross."

TEKI: "Really..? Well, then.. Ahem.. I still won't date you. You're always tired during shootings and fail your takes."

DENMA: "It's plausible because I have to deal with you."

3. "How does Denma's actor feel about his character being portrayed as a 'tsundere'? And what would he do if he was put in the same situation as him?"

TEKI: "It matches with how grouchy he is all the time. I think he's a splitting image of Denma."

DENMA: "Am I the one answering or not?! And I'm not grouchy all the time! You specifically piss me off. Just you."

TEKI: "How heartless! This is why I won't date you!"

DENMA: "Who the fuck would want to date you anyway?!- Ugh.. I'm fine with it. Sure, I'm getting told to do stuff outside of what I'd actually do with my lover but it's just acting after all."

GIRO: "..You have a lover?"

DENMA: "..If I get one. And I wouldn't be in that situation because I don't write hateful love letters to a student who lives next to me or is in the same class as me. I'd just shoot a text or ignore my feelings until they get in the way of my thinking."

4. "What was Mirai's relationship with Teki in the series during their college days? And what was his (and his actor's) first reaction to seeing Teki (and his actor) for the first time?"

MIRAI: "Mirai had the same relationship as Denma is to Teki, but a few steps lower. That's why he gave Teki that bath. And both of our reactions were, both in character and out of character: 'Wow. He's tall.'"

TEKI: "He's just a little shorter than me."

"Now, now.. Before I continue with the questions.. I would love to introduce two side characters who will be showing up on later chapters about Teki, Denma, and Giro's college life: Raiki and Akashi! Their actors are dating too, you know? Ain't that cute?"

___

5. "What activities do Raiki and Akashi's actors do in their free time?"

RAIKI: "We like to take walks to find new places to just relax in and take in the moment, like libraries or museums. Sometimes we huddle up on the couch and watch whatever we want to watch on the TV, but I fall asleep most of the time so he always brings me to bed. We like to cook together, slee-"

AKASHI: "Let's not give the producers a heart attack! But yeah, we live together so we always spend time together once we get back from set. I'm always tired after seeing Teki and Denma's tomfoolery so when I get back I like, take four hours naps on the couch until I have to be jolted awake because my piercings might get my lips swollen from the weird position I'm in."

GIRO: "You two are what I want most in a relationship."

AKASHI: "Don't jinx it, haha.."

"How well do Raiki and Akashi's actors know each other?!"

6. "What are Akashi's actor's favorite foods, clothes, and smells?"

RAIKI: "Akashi loves anything as long as it doesn't have onion in it, he's allergic. His clothes are mostly made out of anything comfortable like cotton or silk, but he will wear anything as long as it compliments his eyes and shows off his piercings and figure. His nose is actually quite sensitive, that's why he didn't get a piercing there, but that makes him unable to handle most smells like perfume or musk. He prefers clean smells like laundry or grass. The most he can handle are fruity scents."

TEKI: "..That's scary."

DENMA: "That's normal..?"

7. "What are Raiki's actor's favorite movies, drinks, and places?"

AKASHI: "Uhh... We recently watched 'Whisper of the Heart' and ever since then he has been rewatching it non-stop. He doesn't have the energy to handle movies, so I think he doesn't have any...? And I know the answer to the second one! His favorite drinks are jasmine tea and warm water! He's sensitive to most flavors but he likes how jasmine tea makes him alert. He talks so little that his throat dries up so he always has a thermos full of warm or boiling water with him. His favorite place...? Anywhere I am, obviously."

RAIKI: "Answer properly.."

AKASHI: "Hehe.. He likes aquariums and cafés.."

DENMA: "I feel like the difference between how much he knows you and how much you know him is big."

TEKI: "I bet he knows what position he sleeps in."

RAIKI: "..In my arms."

AKASHI: "Stop that!"

"These last few questions are from my dearest readers or friends!"

___

8. "Who do you hate the most in 'Strictly Professional'?"

"Teki. Everyone who I've given a shot at reading the series in real life has always fallen in love with him, and he gets the most fan art. It pisses me off because he's the character I've written the laziest."

9. "Who do you like the most in 'Strictly Professional'?"

"It's a hard tie between Akashi and Giro. When I draw the series, which is rarely, I always draw Giro and Akashi in different outfits. I love putting Giro in turtlenecks and Akashi in cute tops. Since I haven't introduced Akashi properly in the series, I'll say Giro."

10. "What was inside Denma's letter in 'A Day of Chocolates'?"

"I would get publicly executed if I said the things Denma wrote in that letter from all those years ago... Kidding. I don't have any plans on revealing the true contents, but Denma said 'I love you' once in it."
