The avian looked at the time and sighed, he should really start getting ready to film a video. He had planned to play a stupid roblox game with Jake and all his friends today, but he really doesn't feel like filming a group video right now, so he sends a message in their disccord server saying that him and Jake won't be able to record with them, saying that they were both very busy. Albert got a few discord notifications from the server of their friends saying stuff like "alright" and "aww mann", but he didn't check them.
He grabs his towel and some new clothes and enters the bathroom to shower.
When he gets out the bathroom, now dressed, he looks at the time.
14:50
It's been 50 minutes since Jake left, yet it feels like it has been hours. He dries his hair and brushes it a little bit and sits on his desk to record.
When he was done he sent the video to Paige and asked Dani to create the thumbnail (he said he forgot to ask her to create the thumbnail yesterday so she wouldn't get suspicious on why he couldn0t record with them).
18:00
Albert was trying to hide how he felt when he was recording. He himself isn't very sure the name of the emotion he is feeling, probably concern, maybe anger?
The avian grabs a brush and starts grooming his pink wings, he decided he'll go outside, maybe he'll go shopping and then get takeout.
Jake doesn't know how many glasses of... What was it? Vodka? Wine? He can't remember what he was drinking at the casino, but he was wasted as fuck. He isn't sure what time it is, but it can't be too late, right? It must be dark because they forgot to turn on the sun!
While walking to his car he runs into an old friend, Denis.
"Oh well well well!!" Jake's words were slurred. "Looks like I ran into the highest level!
Denis raises an eyebrow, he always got along great with Jake, especially since they're both cats (but Jake is cooler, he's a TIGER!!). The black cat isn't dumb, he catched onto the fact the other is drunk, from the wobbly legs, slurred words, and lazy tail wagging.
"Jake, what were you doing getting drunk??"
"I'm a grown man! Can't your 30 year old have a few classy glasses of alcohol?!" Jake responded, he almost sounded annoyed.
"It's not that, it's just we were supposed to play murder mystery together and Albert said you couldn't join because you were quote on quote busy, speaking of which, where is Albert? I thought he'd go to the bar with you"
"Oh I was at the casino, Albert's at home" The tiger was fidgeting with a coin.
Denis is shocked. "So you were at the casino, alone, and you're getting back to your house at fucking 1AM???"
Oh, it's 1am.
"Is it really that late??" Jake looks at his phone, he couldn't see very well what the screen said, it looked blurry.
Denis rubs his temple. "Okay dude, I'm driving you home, you are not drunk driving"
"But in Albert's videos he says-"
"He says that shit as a fucking JOKE you are NOT drunk driving"
Denis grabs the car keys from Jake's hand and pulls him to the boring black car the tiger owns.
"I gambled all my money awaaayyyyy I'm gonna have to beg to zaddy Albert for more..." Jake muttered.
"I didn't need that information" Denis said, seating the tiger on the passenger seat.
While Denis was driving, Jake was poorly singing to whatever song was playing on the radio, he could've sworn he felt a headache creep up. He almost feels bad for Albert for having to deal with this guy.
Albert was waiting for Jake on the dining table, mindlessly scrolling through twitter and liking some fanart he'd find of Cleetus.
When the avian hears the door ring he quickly gets up and opens the door. "Jake I swear if you're-" He was shocked when he saw Denis instead.
"I'm dropping Jake off" Denis moves aside so Albert can see the drunken Jake.
Albert looks almost disgusted at how drunk Jake was, he grabbed him by the arm and pulled him inside.
Denis watched from outisde as the drunk man was being pulled to the bathroom. He wasn't sure if he should leave or stay there. His face scrunches up at the sound of gagging and puking, his fur spiking up from disgust.
Albert pats Jake's back while he threw up in the toilet on his knees. The avian covers his nose with his right wing, trying to block the unwanted smell.
Once Jake was done, Albert placed him on their bed, letting him sleep now.
"Thanks for dropping him off" The avian said to Denis. "You can have a quick snack and head out after"
The black cat entered and sat on the couch, watching Albert pull out a bag of popcorn. "Are you supposed to cook these or put them in the microwave I can't remember, I threw the box out already..." He stares intently at the information at the back of the bag, trying to find out what he's supposed to do.
Denis sighs, getting up to help Albert. "You fucking idiot..." He grabs the bag and puts it in the microwave, turning it on for two minutes. "Also, dude, why didn't you record with us today?"
"Ehh, I actually didn't feel like it... Me and Jake have something we have to solve together and he was out and all that."
"Oh, sorry man... I'm assuming you wanna talk to him about his tendencies to go to the casino?"
"Yeah..." The avian sighs "Wanna watch a movie?" He suggests, trying to change topics. "We could watch the new fnaf movie"
"Sure"
Albert grabs the TV remote and starts looking for Five Nights at Freddy's 2. While he was doing that the microwave beeps so Denis goes and grabs the bag of popcorn. "Do you have any drinks?" He asked.
Albert nods. "Check in the fridge"
Denis sat back down with the popcorn and drinks.
They started watching the movie, everytime an animatronic was on screen Albert would hide behind his big wings, scared. Whenever he'd do that Denis would laugh hysterically at him. Who knew a 28 year old man was so afraid of toy Chica?
There was a part wher the Marionette did a jumpscare, which made the avian let out a high pitched scream, his wings shaking as he held himself in them.
Jake was sleeping peacefully in his room, tucked into the covers, tail wrapped around his legs, hugging Albert. He was awaken by the scream, eyes fluttering open a little. He looks at his boyfirend, only to find out- He was hugging a pillow. His fur spikes up, ears jolting up, quickly letting go of the pillow. He hears some laughs in the living room and gets up to check what they were. He had a small headache, but payed no mind to it.
"Albert...?" He muttered as he quietly walked down the stairs to the living room. He was surprised to see Denis and Albert watching a movie, sitting together, maybe they're sitting too close for Jake's likeness.
Luckily Albert and Denis didn't see Jake, cause the tiger didn't want to be noticed, he felt betrayed. He can't believe Albert would invite their friend over without telling him and start to have snacks while watching a movie without him, and worst of all, they were sitting painfully close, a little bit closer and Albert is sitting on Denis' lap- Jake gagged at that thought. He decided to wobble back up to his room and throw himself onto bed.
Morning
Albert was sleeping on the sofa, Denis on the other side asleep aswell.
Jake got up and walked to the kitchen, making three coffees, Albert's and his are exactly to their liking, Denis' a plain boring coffee (Jake isn't sure what Denis likes).
Albert woke up to the sound coming from the kitchen, he got up and hugged Jake from behind. "Morning loveee" He said sleepily.
"Why didn't you tell me you invited Denis?" The feline sounded annoyed.
"What??"
"Why didn't you tell me you invited Denis???" He repeated.
"I didn't invite him, he appeared at our door, dropping you off"
"Well why did you let him fucking stay???"
Albert let's go of Jake. "Because it was 1:30am and he just did me the favour of dropping you off after you had too many drinks at the fucking casino!"
"Well did you have to be sitting so close to him?? Did you have to fucking fall asleep on the same sofa???"
"Jake for fucks sake I was just sitting next to him! I wasn't sucking his dick!"
"And I'm supposed to believe that??" Jake's fur was spiking up.
Albert tenses up. "Are you accusing me of cheating on you?? You know at least I'm not asking my boyfriend for hundreds of dollars to gamble away!"
Denis wakes up to the arguing. He gets up and heads to the kitchen.
Jake notices Denis coming so he tries to brush his fur back and tries to calm down a little, gently wagging his tail to seem calm. Albert tried to calm down aswell, grabbing his mug and taking a sip of his coffee.
"Sorry for falling asleep on your couch" Denis said, rubbing the back of his neck. He could sense something was off, but decided it must be something personal.
"It's alright! I was just hoping to wake up next to Albert but oh well." Jake said, shooting Albert a side eye. "Anyways, here, I made you a coffee" He gave the black cat his coffee. Denis thanked him and took a sip.
"When do you guys want me to leave?"
"Uh, maybe after you have breakfast, me and Jake have something we have to do." Albert said.
Denis nods, wagging his tail from side to side.
"I'll drop you off" Jake offered. "By the way, thanks for taking me home I would've crashed into a tree if it weren't for you" He said, trying to sound as grateful as possible.
"I'll come with" The avian said.
"Great.." The tiger muttered through gritted teeth.
"Thanks."
They all had breakfast together on the dining table, they had some biscuits and fruit in the middle of the table for them to eat. If it weren't for Denis they'd be having a silent, very awkward breakfast with a sense of hatred in the air. 'Thank you Denisdaily for your talkative and cheerful personality' we all say in unison.
Once they were done, they head off to the black car and got in. Jake was driving, Albert was on the passenger seat and Denis was sitting in the back. He had Albert's phone that was connected to the car's radio and was putting songs of their choice, holding Albert's phone like a child playing games.
After they dropped Denis off, they stopped at an empty park and sat on a bench, they weren't sure how to continue their conversation from before.
"I still can't believe you're acccusing me of cheating on you" Albert said, fidgeting with one of his pink feathers.
"I mean, you fucking invited another man to our house without even telling me, and then slept in the same fucking couch as him" Jake replied with, brushing his tail with a little comb he has, not wanting to look at Albert.
"For fuck sake- Are you even listening?? I didn't invite him, he came to drop YOU off since you were drunk as shit!"
"And you let him stay???"
"Do I have to repeat the same shit for you?? Are you fucking dumb?? Gosh! I told you it was FUCKING 1AM! I wasn't about to leave OUR friend to go home that late, he lives super far away from here and he did YOU the favour of dropping you off. Which, by the way, we have to talk about your trips to the casino"
"Keep the casino out of this shit dude, you're just trying to make me forget about you and Denis" The feline's fur spikes up, he looks at Albert at the face, putting his comb in his pocket.
"ARE YOU LISTENING TO ME??" Albert's voice got louder. He got up to look at Jake, his wings fluttering open threatingly.
"OHH I'M SOOOO SCAREDDDD"
The avian clenches his fists, his veins showing clearly though his skin out of rage.
"Honestly dude! just leave me for Denis already! I've seen the picture you've posted with him!"
"THOSE WERE FROM BEFORE YOU AND ME EVEN DATED?? PLEASE JUST LISTEN TO ME FOR ONCE! YOU ARE SO DENSE" He was practically yelling.
Jake huffs, he crosses his arms and looks away.
"Oh NOW you don't have anything to say. I can't believe you accused me of CHEATING ON YOU. It's like you don't even know me!"
The feline is suddenly quiet, he seemed to be deep in thoughts, he starts feeling guilt creep up on him. "Albert... I-I'm sorry."
Albert rolls his eyes. "Sorry doesn't help" He turns around and flies away. Albert never flies, it's rare to see him do so.
"ALBERT WAIT!!" Jake jumped out his seat, trying to grab Albert, but he was too late. He stared at the avian fly off as he fell to his knees, hie eyes watering up. "I'm so stupid..."
Jake walks around the park, not knowing where to go and what to do. He was panicking, until the little lightbulb on his head lit up. He wiped his tears and drove back to their house. When he got out he looked at the roof and found Albert curled up in a little ball, hidden behind his wings. "Albert!" The feline called. "Please come down..."
The avian looked up at Jake, his eyes were red."Why?? Do you want to accuse me for more dumb shit?? Or not listen to me??" He said, scoffing.
Jake enters their house, going up to the second floor and goes on the balcony to then climb on to the railing and jump onto the roof, being a cat makes him extra acrobatic. "I've realized my mistake, I shouldn't have jumped to that conclusion when I saw you with Denis, I'm truly sorry. Please... Is there any way I can make it up to you?"
Albert just stares at Jake, the apology sounded genuine and from the heart, but he was too stubborn to accept it.
The tiger knew he wouldn't accept the apology immediately, he knows how his boyfriend is, but he has patience. "Also, what was it that you wanted to talk to me about?"
"You going to the casino" Albert gets out of his little ball, tucking his wings back.
"What about it?"
"You have to stop! I can't be giving hundreds of dollars every day!"
"Is that it?" Jake tilts his head to the side.
"No! Worst of all is that I'm afraid you are going to develop a gambling addiction, I love you and I don't want you to leave me home alone the second the stupid casino is open and then for you to come back past midnight! I want to be able to fall asleep next to you with love, not concern!" Albert covers his face with one hand, he was very upset
Jake tenses up. "I swear it's not an addiction...".
"It's going to turn into one if you don't stop" Albert said sternly.
The feline gets up and gets off the roof, entering back into the house. He knows the avian is going to stay on the top of their house until midnight.
Midnight
Albert had been laying on the roof for hours, just staring at the sky. It was a nice view seeing as the sun setted with the crescent moon into the horizon. He watched the stars shine at night, he tried finding a few constellations to clear his mind, but he knew nothing about astronomy so he decided to just admire the lights in the dark sky. He started getting bored so he decided to hop off and jump onto their balcony. He didn't even realize how hungry he was until he heard his stomach loudly growl. He hesitantly opened the door and entered.
"Hello?" Albert called out.
Jake turns on the light of their room, illuminating the place. The avian to found his boyfriend had his laptop open with a roblox game open and some fancy homemade spaghetti on their desk.
"What- What??" Albert was confused as hell.
"Just- Sit down"
The flamingo raises an eyebrow but obeys, sitting down and looking at the game on the laptop. The roblox game was called "for him <<33". That made him giggle a little bit (it was a stupid ass name for a game)
Jake had his phone out, he seemed to be opening roblox up to join the game with Albert.
"So do I join this game?" Albert asks.
The feline perked up and nodded. He was fidgeting with his popsocket a little bit, he was nervous.
When Albert joined the game he found a picnic with cherry blossom trees around the blanket. Jake joined a few seconds after Albert.
"Follow me" Jake said.
The avian's roblox character followed the other player, where he was met with a big wall with something written on it.
Hey Albert, I know you're mad at me but I just want you to know, you mean everything to me. I'm stupid to have accused you of cheating on me and for not realizing an obvious addiction starting. You made me realize what I did wrong and I want to thank you for that, it gave me the opportunity to change myself for the better. With that said, I want to apologize for my actions. I shouldn't be accusing you or neglecting you. I am saying this from the deepest parts of my heart and I really hope you accept my apology, if you don't, that's okay. I just hope you realize how much you mean to me and how the way I wouldn't be in the lucky position I am in right now if it weren't for you.

Albert felt a smile creep on his face as he read that.
"Wow Jake, That was so... Cheesy..."
Jake's eyebrows furrow in worry.
"... But also very sincere" Albert got out his seat and stood infront of Jake. "I forgive you." He grabs his boyfriend's hands as he watched him tear up.
Jake sniffles. "Thank you... I'm so sorry..."
Albert kisses him, holding him close.
When they pull away the avian wrapped his arms around Jake's neck. "Don't you ever think I wouldn't give you the world if I could" He said, with a stupid smirk on his face. He wiped his boyfriend's tears away.
Jake nods and smiles weakly. "Shall we eat?" He asked, he heard Albert's stomach growl a little. "I can tell you're hungry"
Albert nods and sits down at the desk and ate the spaghetti, Jake sitting next to him and also eating from the big plate. Albert had a noodle in his mouth and saw Jake had the end of the noddle he had in his mouth. They were about to do the things couples always do in shows. Their faces inched closer and closer... Until Jake bit the fucking noodle.
"DUDE! We're supposed to do the thing cute couples do in shows! YOU RUINED IT!!" The avian said, pretending to sound annoyed and angry.
The feline laughed loudly, he honestly did that on purpose just to ruin the moment in a fun and playful way.
Albert was quick to join the laughter, covering his face with a hand as he giggled.
"When did you even learn to cook?" Albert asked, a teasing smirk on his face as he tilted his head curiously.
"I'm just good at following baking recipes" Jake said, rubbing the back of his neck.
"Wow... I could never honestly"
"I know, you'd somehow fuck up cooking the spaghetti and leave some random italian raging"
They both giggle. Albert wraps his left wing around Jake's tiger tail, they stared at eachother's eyes and smiled.
Today they felt an ocean full of different emotions, but to be able to end it in a beautiful dinner at night alone, made it all worth it.
