Adrien Agreste was in the crowd. Of course, the famous model was invited to the event. Anyone white a brain knew the Agreste name. They had even dressed a couple of the stars on the red carpet.
Adrien ran to the bathrooms to get out of the helter-skelter for a moment. He must have turned a wrong corner cause he was met with a cow?
Why in the world was there a cow at the Oscars? Not backstage or anywhere that would draw attention, but simply Stan.
Stan the cow turned to look as the bathroom door slammed open. A blond human child stared back, clearly confused.
“Moo”
The child, confused, slipped on a puddle and fell on his back.
Adrien winced from the impact, but from this angle he blinked in realization. This wasn't just any cow. No, he had met this cow many years ago.
"Stan?" Adrien said, "Is that really you?"
It took him back to the first commercial he had ever been forced to film by his father. It had featured just him and this tiny calf, huddled together in front of the camera.
Adrien had begged his father to bring Stan home with them, but of course he would never agree to something like that.
Adrien wrapped his arms around the cow, "I missed you so much."
