Chapter 1: Leaving My Dream Behind.. (RIN'S POV)

[January 7th,2019]
The Crowd cheered and roared as the sound of the whistle filled the air,Signaling the end of the game
Announcer:”And Yoichi Isagi manages to get past Itoshi Sae and Itoshi Rin and score!! Securing the Win for BLUE LOCK 4-3!!”
The Cheering got louder as they started to chant
“BLUE LOCK!!”
“BLUE LOCK!!’
“BLUE LOCK!!”

Rin Sat on the Field,His heart beating fast from the adrenaline.His Older Brother,Sae walked over to him,the same cold expression on his face
Sae:”Rin.”
Rin Looked up,his expression neutral but a curious glint in his eyes
Sae:”I know who will change the future of Japanese Soccer…”
Rin:”Nii-chan..”
Rin’s Eyes Sparkled as he looked at his older brother
{”Is this it? Will i finally be praised by nii-”}
Sae:”Him.”
[Sae said as he pointed to Isagi]
Sae:”Yoichi Isagi…He’s the one to Change Japanese Soccer”
Rin Looked at Sae with wide eyes,not believing what he heard. He then stared at the ground deep in thought,not even noticing his older brother walking away from him
{”..What…No no no no,He’s Joking right?! Everything i’ve done to impress him…”}
{“I’ll never be good enough…My only reason to play soccer was impress him..If i cant do that..”}
{“Then i have no reason to play soccer anymore..I Should just Quit. It’ll be better for everyone anyways..”}
He Kept staring at the field,those words from the night that Sae came back from Spain echoing in his head.
Rin tried to ignore the voices but they got even louder,he got up from the field and walked to the locker room,walking past his teammates without saying a word.
He opened his locker,grabbed his phone,a towel since he was still sweaty,and his water bottle.He took a sip of the water before putting it back in the locker and going out to find Ego.
The First place he checked was Ego’s Office,Even though he saw ego watching on the side during the match,he(ego) would probably have been at his office by now.
Rin Knocked on the door once,then twice. Ego opened the door,looking rin in the eyes.
Ego:”What is it Diamond in the rough?”
Rin:”I want to leave Blue Lock.Permanently.”
Ego:”Oh? That’s something I wasn't expecting to hear,May I ask why you want to leave Blue Lock?”
Rin:”It’s None of your Business Four eyed freak..”
Ego:”Well,you do know that if you leave,you wont be able to-”
Rin:”I'm Aware.I don't want to come back anyways.”
Before Ego could say anything else,rin started to walk away to the front of the building,leaving everything(-his phone and his bag) behind.
The Doors opened in front of him and he walked out,not even thinking about his decision twice.
{“Great..now i have nothing to do with my life.I just gave up my dreams just because of jealousy… How stupid am i..”}
{“Soccer was everything to me but now it's just gone. What do I even do now..?”}
Rin Kept walking till he made it to the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line Station in Roppongi
He managed to get a ticket and headed on the first train to Naka-Meguro.
The Train Arrived and he got on,Sitting down and putting on his headphones from his bag,Playing his Favorite Song,Prayer X by King Gnu, while he waited.
[DING! DING! DING!]
||Current Stop:Naka Meguro Station,Platform 2||
Rin got up,this was his stop after all.Even though he already got off the train,He needed to actually get back home so he changed platform’s to Platform 1 to the Tokyu Toyoko Line Train,getting back on the Train to Finally get to Kanagawa Prefecture.
He turned up his music,canceling out the loud chatter on the train,Thoughts and memories going through his mind.
{“There were some other things besides soccer that I did with nii-chan..Im Pretty sure one of those things were ice skating,wouldn’t hurt to try again.”}
{“I don't even remember how to skate properly?!...Well actually it shouldn't be that hard,Its just skating on ice and not falling.”}
[DING! DING! DING!]
||Current Stop:Kanagawa Prefecture,Kamakura City||
He Took one of the earcups(from the headphones) off his ear to hear the announcement better.He got up and walked out the train,heading to the entrance.He Tried to avoid talking to people so once he left the station he put his headphones fully on to block out whoever tried to talk to him
{“To be honest,I don't even know where any ice skating center is,so how the hell am i gonna ic skate?!....I could probably just search it up..”}
Once he got home,he took his keys out his bag to unlock the front door.Once he did,The House was quiet,his parents didn't even care about him coming home,it’d be rare if they even acknowledged him.Sae always took care of him before he went to Spain,but without Sae here,the house was quiet.
None of their laughter being shared when they played soccer together,none of the loud sound of falling blocks of when rin played with his toys with sae. It was just a silly memory..
{“Whatever..what did i expect from them anyways.”}
Rin closed the door behind him,locked it and headed upstairs to his room. Setting his bag and flopping on his bed.
{“I’ll find out where those damn ice skating centers are tomorrow..but right now,i need to take a shower. I smell like the field and food you’d find on kitchen nightmares..aka shitty”}
He forced himself up and headed to the bathroom to wash off and relax.the water hitting his skin as he tried to forget what sae said to him.He stayed in the shower for a while before finally getting out,heading into his room,changing,turning off the lights and laying down.
He pulled the covers over him and laid back,finally falling asleep peacefully.

The Bright Winter Sun shined on rin’s face through the curtains,his alarm blaring through the silence in the room. Rin groaned in annoyance as he covered his ears with his pillow but the alarm wouldn't stop.
He opened his eyes and threw the pillow across the room.Rin grabbed his phone,turning off the blaring alarm and sitting up,his legs dangling off the side of the bed.
{“Well since im up,i might as well start that damn research i said i’d do..”}
Rin grabbed his phone and checked the time.
|14:00pm(2:00pm)|
{“Geez,did I really sleep that long..? AND WHY DO I HAVE AN ALARM FOR 2PM?!”}
{“Whatever..Its not that late anyways so some skate centers should still be open..?”}
He opened google and searched up “Different skate centers in Yokohama”
He kept scrolling till he found one,the “KOSE Shin Yokohama Skate Center”
{“Hm,This seems like a good place,its not open but if i go by train it’ll be open by then.I’ll get dressed then head out.”}
Rin got up,got dressed and headed out with his phone and headphones,keys dangling in his hands.He closed the locked the front door once he left and headed to the The Tokyu Toyoko Line Train.
After all of the trains he took + the Walking(Tokyu Toyoko Line Train->Hiyoshi Station->Yokohama Municipal Subway Blue Line->Tokyu Shin-Yokohama Line->walking which is a shit ton of writing so like just imagine..?) He finally made it to the skate center.
He walked inside the center since it was open,seeing different people skating in the rink.
Rin went up to the front to get his skates since he didn't have his own.
The Lady up front was pretty old,probably in her 80’s but she smiled and bowed when she saw him,a friendly gesture to welcome him.
Masou:”Ah,Itoshi Rin! What a surprise seeing you here,my son is a huge fan!”
Rin:”Oh,uhm,thank you?”
Masou:”What size would you like dear..?”
Rin:”9.5(27.5cm)..”
Masou nodded and headed to the back to grab the skates for rin.It didn't take her long to come back with the skates since they were on the front shelf in the back.
Masou:”Have fun skating dear.”
Rin:”Thank you.”
Masou bowed once again,rin did the same before leaving.He headed to the benches and sat down to tie the laces on his skates made sure to tighten them before getting up so he wouldn't fall face first on the ice.
{Rin:It’s been a while since i’ve done this,i just have to stay up and not fall right..? Whatever’ll figure it out”}
Rin managed to get on the ice smoothly and pushed himself off the sides.He tried to copy others around him by skating carelessly and calmly and it worked…for a little bit.
Eventually he almost tripped but he managed to get himself back up.For days he practiced ice skating,then those days turned into weeks,then months,then years.He joined a Japanese Figure Skating club,the Meiji Jingu Gaien FSC,A year after he started skating.
Two years had already passed and Rin was peacefully skating and spinning around on the ice at the skate center with his headphones on,just blocking out the sounds of others skating but someone unexpectedly skated up to him,they looked familiar but he couldn't really figure out who they were.Rin took off his headphones and put them on his neck.
??:”Sorry to interrupt your skating but,that spin you just pulled off was amazing!”
Rin:”Oh,Thank you.”
??:”You're welcome!”
Rin:”You look…familar..?”
Haruto:”Ah you might’ve seen me on tv..Im Haruto Sanji,An Olympian Figure Skater!”
{“An Olympian Figure skater!? No wonder he seemed familar,he’s a fucking legend…But why is he talking to me..?”}
Rin:”I’ve heard of you,you represented Japan in the 2018 Winter Olympics,correct?”
Haruto:”Yup! That's me!”
Haruto Smiled at Rin

Rin:”Well why are you talking to me..?”
Haruto:”Ah,well i have a offer for you”
Rin:”And that is?”
Haruto:”Well i’ve been watching you for-”
Rin:”You’ve been stalking me?!”
Haruto:”WHAT?! NO NO NO!! I WOULD NEVER!!”
Haruto:”I was trying to say that I've been watching you for a while and I was wondering if you wanted to join the Japanese national team for the Olympics. We’ve been looking for another figure skater for a while and I thought you’d be great.”
Rin:”Me..? Join the National Team..? You're joking right?”
Haruto:”Of course,i see potential in you!!”
Rin:”I…Alright..but how?”
Haruto:”Well..You have to go through a LOTTTT of things,for starters,are you in a Skating Club?”
Rin:”Yeah?”
Haruto:”Perfect! What club?”
Rin:”The Meiji Jingu Gaien FSC..”
Haruto:”Can you do an axel spin?”
Rin:”Yes? I don't get why you're asking me all of these questions..”
Haruto:”Since the JSF is having the badge tests right now and I want you to do it!”
Rin:”Badge..tests..?”
Haruto:”Do i really have to explain everything..?”
Rin:”Yes.”
Haruto:”Finee…The badge tests are to see if you have the ability to skate in the Senior National Championships. 3-4 is novice level,5-6 is Junior level and if you get a 7-8 you’ll be able to head to the senior National Championships!!”
Rin:”So,how do I do it?”
Haruto:”You need your Private Coach to sign off your application form to confirm you're ready for the tests.”
Haruto:”Then once your coach signs it,it needs to be handed to your club’s test chair! Once it’s there they will verify your current JSF membership status and confirm you passed all those “prerequisite” Levels!”
Rin:”What levels..?”
Haruto:”The levels I just explained Idiot!!”
Rin:”Oh right..”
{“I’m honestly not gonna remember all of this..”}
Haruto:”But anyways,before you sign,you have to show your coach you can pass all those tests.”
Rin:”Alright.. Is that it?”
Haruto:”Nope! There’s still more but i’ll tell you after you pass the badge tests and fill out an application!”
Rin:”What if I don't see you again?”
Haruto:”I’ll give you my number!”
Haruto pulled out his phone out of his pocket,Rin did the same and the two exchanged numbers.
Haruto:”So are you gonna head to your skate club now?”
Rin:”Probably yeah..”
Haruto:”I could take you there if you want!”
Rin:”Oh uhm sure?”
Haruto:”Great,let's go!!”
The Two went out to the parking lot,headed to Haruto's car and got in.Haruto Shut the door and started the car once Rin got in. After a 40 minute drive they finally made it to the Meiji Jinsu Gaien Ice Skating rink.
Haruto:”We’re here!!"
Haruto opened the door and got out,rin following behind as they walked into the skate center.Rin’s coach Kukro noticed him and came over.
Kukro:”Ah Rin and- HARUTO SANJI?! O-oh my,what are you doing here-?!”
Haruto:”Im a Friend of Rin’s”
Haruto Smiled
{“Since when were we- whatever…”}
Haruto:”And Rin wants to do the Badge tests so he could get into the Senior National Championships to get into the olympics!!”
Kukro:”I see…And Rin do you agree to this?”
Kukro turned to Rin
Rin:”I guess…?”
Kukro:”Well alright,lets get started then.”
Kukro and Rin got their skates and stepped on the ice to start the test.After passing all the levels,he made it to level 7.
Kukro:”Well,since you passed level 7. I can sign that application form and send it off to the test chair but you will have to wait 2-4 weeks for the results.”
Rin:”Alright..”
Kukro:”Well I'll go sign it now.You’re one of my best students so I have fate that you’ll get in rin.”
Rin:”Thank you coach.”
Kukro nodded before heading to her office to fill up the application form
Haruto:”Great job rin!! You did amazing!!”
RIn:”Thanks..but what now?”
Haruto:”Now,We Wait because our creator is too lazy to write everything else out!”
Rin:”What.?”
Haruto:”Nothing! :)”
Haruto smiled as rin facepalmed and sighed,shaking his head in disbelief.
[Time flew by,After those two weeks Rin went to the Senior National Championship to compete.Then Moved on to the Japan figure skating Championship,then entered into the ISU,Then the Four Continents Championship,,Then a bunch of other events that i dont feel like writing bc im writing at 11:32pm..Rin finally made it to the Beijing 2022 Figure Skating..]

Haruto,Rin and Takeshi were waiting in the locker rooms.Rin was tying his skating and Takeshi and Haruto were just waiting for him to finish.
Haruto:”Alright,this is finals,aka the MOST important part of the Olympics!!
Takeshi:”Didnt you say that before the Semi-finals?”
Rin Covered his more before laughing a little,The comment made Haruto’s face turn red from embarrassment.
Haruto:”Shut it you two!! This is serious!!”
Rin:”Ok ok..”
Rin said as he removed his hand from his mouth,still chuckling a bit.
Takeshi:”Anywaysss,Im pretty sure there starting with the single performances so-”
Haruto:”-Good Luck Rin!!”
Takeshi:”Hey I was about to say that!!”
Rin:”Thank you two..”
He smiled as the other two smiled back.
Rin:”I better go before they call me.”
Rin got up and walked out
Takeshi:”We’ll be cheering you on!!!”
Takeshi yelled from in the locker room,Knowing his friends would being cheering him on.He bent down and made his skates weren't loose but standing back up and waiting for his turn.

basically takes place after their celebration on the field and before isagi's interview

Isagi held his chest,adrenaline running through his body. Bachira came up to him,laughing and cheering
Bachira:”Yocchan we did it!! We beat the U-20 team AND Sae Itoshi!!”
Isagi:”Yeah..”
He said,laughing with bachira,Sae walked up to gigglingly pair,his expression the same as always.
Sae:”Isagi Yoichi,May I speak to you?”
Sae glares at Bachira
Sae:”Alone.”
Isagi:”Oh,uhm sure! W-what do you need?”
Isagi said,stuttering due to the sudden interaction (no he’s not flustered, he's just shocked that a world class player is talking to him. This is NOT shipping sae and isagi).Bachira skipped away from the two,letting them talk.
Sae:”That move you made,getting past me and my little brother was…impressive.You have potential to go against pro’s,But you need to improve on your skills.”
Sae turns to leave
Sae:”But,work on your skills more,that goal and your form is lukewarm..”
Sae walked away,leaving isagi stunned
{“Did THE SAE ITOSHI just say I have potential?! This is crazy..”}
Two reporters walked up to Isagi,One of them was a female(Reporter 1) while the other was a male(reporter 2).
Reporter 1:”Iasgi! May we have a word?”
Isagi:”Uhm..”
He glances over to his right,seeing Rin walk off the field.
{“Ah..he must be heading to the locker room…But why does he look so down?.. Eh whatever i’ll check on him after.”}
Isagi looks back at the reporters.
Isagi:”Sure?”
Reporter 2:”Great! So,how do you feel about scoring the last goal of the game?”
Isagi:”I feel great…I was honestly just in the moment when I saw rin and sae going against eachother,I know someone had to get the ball or it would’ve been a draw so I just cut through y’know? It was like an intrusive thought that just..took over? And imm pretty glad it did,since we managed to win with only a minute left and by one point so-”
Isagi then catches himself
Isagi:”Sorry, am I talking too much…?”
The Reporters let out a faint chuckle
Reporter 1:”Maybe,but it's alright,We have one more question for you. How did it feel to play against Sae itoshi?”
Isagi:”It felt amazing,I never thought I'd be able to play against a professional soccer player like Sae..”
Reporter 1:”I’d 100% understand why’d you feel like that,it can be pretty crazy playing against professional’s”
Isagi:”Yeah..”
He said,chuckling a bit
Reporter 2:”Well,that’s pretty much all the questions we have for you today,is there anything you’d like to say to everyone watching out there?”
Isagi:”Uhm…,I’d like to say if you can believe in your dreams you could do anything!”
Isagi smiled at the camera and reporters.
Reporter 1:”What inspiring words!”
Reporter 2:”Well,Thank you for letting us interview you, Isagi.Congratulations on the win!”
Isagi:”Thank you!”
The reporters grabbed their stuff and left the field while Bachira just jumped on his back.
Isagi:”Ah! Bachira-!”
Bachira:”Yess~?”
Isagi:”For starters,why are you on my back? And two,have you seen rin anywhere? I saw him walking off the field during my interview but he didn't come back.”
Bachira:”I dunno! We could go look for him..?”
Isagi:”Sure,but get off my back first..”
Bachira:”Awhh…Fine..”
Bachira whined as he jumped off of Isagi’s back,They walked off to the field to the locker rooms.The only two that were currently in there were Hiori and Chigiri,The others were still on the field.
Bachira:”Princess!! Hiori-Chan!! Have you two seen Rin-chan?”
Hiori:”I Haven't seen rin since the game ended.”
Chigiri:”And I saw him talking to sae but when sae walked away he headed back here and I haven't seen him since.”
Isagi:”That's..Weird.. Is his stuff still here?”
Hiori:”Nah,its all gone.”
Bachira:”Does anyone have his number??”
Chigiri:”Nah..”
Isagi:”Nope..”
Hiori:”No,sorry..”
Chigiri:”I don't think anyone in blue lock has his number.”
Isagi:”Well what do we do??”
Hiori:”He Might’ve already left? Ego’s givin’ us a two week break before whatever he has planned..”
Isagi:”He is..? I didn't know about that.”
Chigiri:”He told us during your little interview.”
Isagi:”oh..makes sense.”
Chigiri:”Well,I’m gonna head out,Good luck finding Rin!”
Bachira:”Bye Princess!!”
Chigiri grabbed his stuff and headed out,leaving the three alone.
Hiori:”I think I'm also gonna head out.I’m pretty tired after all that runnin’..”
Bachira:”We all should just leave then?”
Isagi:”Yeah good idea.I’ll see you guys when we come back!”
Bachira:”Bye bye!!”
The Three grabbed their stuff and also left,leaving the locker room empty,heading their separate ways out the facility. Isagi headed to the train station and pulled out his phone.

He put his phone away,thoughts still racing in his mind.
{“Today was a bunch of chaos…Im so glad we won but where the hell is rin?! Like seriously one second he was there then he just disappeared?! I don't know even his phone number or his address so i cant even call him to find him..”}
He eventually made it to the train station,buying a ticket and going through to the entrance and getting on the first train to Saitama,sitting down on the first seat he saw.
{“Ughh..why do i keep thinking about him..He’s so.. NO! He’s your teammate Yoichi,nothing more!! Whatever, I'm sure he’ll be back for whatever ego has planned next for us..right? RIGHT?!.”}
[DING! DING! DING!]
[Next Stop:Saitama Prefecture]
Isagi stood up,grabbed his bag and got off the train.
{“Y’know what,just forget about rin and enjoy your break! You can find him later!!”}
After getting through a busy crowd,isagi walked out the train station,heading home while looking for his keys in his bag.Once he got home,he took out his keys and unlocked the front door.
Isagi:”Momm! Dadd! I’m home!!”
Iyo:”Yocchan! You did amazing out there!!”
Iyo said as she went up to isagi,hugging him tightly.Issei also came over,ruffling isagi’s hair.
Issei:”Good job kiddo!”
Isagi:”Thanks you two..,I'm gonna head up to my room,I'm pretty tired after all that running..”
Iyo let go of Isagi,stepping back to let him go upstairs.
Issei:”Well alright,Me and your mother will be waiting down here for you!”
Isagi:”Alright! I’ll be down in a minute! I’m just gonna take a shower first.”
Iyo:”Alright! Just like your father said,we’ll be waiting for you!”
Isagi nodded before heading upstairs,getting to his room and sitting on his bed,throwing his bag down.
{“What if he quit..? GAHH STOP THINKING ABOUT HIM!! …But he would never quit,He's like one of the best players in blue lock…he’s also the hottest with his beautiful blue eyes,his beautiful underlashes..and his thick thighs..”}
{“NO!! SNAP OUT OF IT ISAGI!!.. But i do wonder..What will happen without him..?”}
And that one little question would be answered soon.
After their two week break,Isagi returned to blue lock,Eventually playing for Bastard Munchen in the Neo Egoist League,Then Playing for Blue Lock for the U-20 World Cup,Eventually winning and becoming a professional soccer player later on..

[FEBRUARY 8TH,2022,Isagi’s House]
Isagi,Bachira,Chigiri and Hiori sat in the living room. It's been a while since they’ve seen each other since they're all in different professional teams now so they thought it’d be a good idea to catch up.
Chigiri:”I hate to admit it but I'm so glad we’re not in blue lock anymore. It was fun and all but Ego was a maniac..”
Hiori:”I agree,Ego was a walkin’ mess to be honest.”
Isagi:”True,but without him we wouldn’t even be here right now.”
Bachira:”You guys are right,but can we talk about someone else? Like the Winter Olympics started!!”
Chigiri:”Oh yeah,I’ve heard of it! I think the figure skating part is happening this week?”
Hiori:”Then let's watch it..? If ya guys want to of course.”
Isagi:”S-”
Bachira:”OF COURSE WE WANT TOO!! Yocchan,Can you put it on?? Pleaseee”
Isagi:”Ok ok fine!!”
Bachira:”Yayy!!”
Isagi grabbed the remote,turned on the tv and turned on the Olympics.It was starting with the first male skated,The Announcer on tv then spoke.
Announcer:”For our first starter of the day,Now representing Japan,Itoshi Rin!!”
The Four froze in shock.
{“Rin?!..There’s no way..!”}
Chigiri:”So that's where he’s been! After all these years!?”
Hiori:”I thought he was dead..”
Chigiri,Bachira and Isagi:”HIORI!!”
Hiori:”Sorry,Just Kidding!”
Chigiri:”Well anyways,I have an idea.”
Isagi:”What is it?”
Chigiri:”We should go to the Olympics since we haven't seen him in a while,Besides we were looking for him!”
Bachira:”But the Olympics are all the way in China!"
Isagi:”Then we need to get there!!”
Bachira:”But that's gonna take hours!!”
Chigiri:”Then let's order the tickets right now and go. The figure skating category goes on for a while so he might see him there.”
Isagi:”I can order them! You guys go home and pack??”
Hiori:”Got it!”
Isagi pulls out his phone,ordering the tickets.
Isagi:”Our flight leaves in two hours at the Tokyo Haneda Airport! See you guys there!!”
Chigiri:”See ya!!”
Chigiri,Hiori and Bachira got up and left to get ready while Isagi ran upstairs to his room. He eventually found his suitcase and started packing. He didn't have time to get there by train so he called an uber to take him there. As he put his suitcase in the trunk and got in the car,only one thought was in his mind.
{“I’ll find you again Rin,I’ll make sure of it..”}
