Chapter 1: Steal My Husband

Chapter Text

In theory, Leo should be happy with his life. He’s thirty-three with a rich husband who treats him like a trophy wife, allowing the Omega to stay at home and live his days cleaning, cooking, and taking care of their home until his Alpha comes home and swoops him into his arms, carrying the Omega off into their bedroom and showing Leo his appreciation.

At least, that’s how it was for their first few years of marriage.

Leo comes from a rich family himself, and his mother always told him that he was destined to marry off rich. She always claimed it was so he could be treated with the respect he deserves, but Leo knows deep down it’s only because that’s the only way an Omega can bring honor to their family.

His parents were always disappointed that he turned out not to be an Alpha, so as soon as his younger sister presented as one, they pushed Leo aside and showered all the attention on her.

It’s fine, though, Leo knows that that’s just how life is for Omegas. If anything, he’s actually one of the lucky ones. Most Omegas end up in an abusive relationship, so Leo’s fine with being the trophy wife. He’s never been keen on cooking or cleaning, but he knows this is all he’s destined for, so he accepts his new life with open arms.

Just smile and sit quietly at his husband's events?

Leo does it with no complaints.

Make sure the house is spotless and dinner is always set on the table (even if his husband usually never makes it home on time)?

Leo does it relentlessly.

Spread his legs and swallow all his moans because his husband thinks they're ugly?

Leo does it quietly.

And for the first few years, everything works perfectly. Leo lives his life in routine, the perfect housewife.

But then…

No matter how much they have sex, Leo never falls pregnant. They try and try, and Leo sets up countless appointments and takes all the medicine he can to increase his fertility, but his doctors say there’s nothing wrong with him.

He’s perfectly healthy and fertile; if he’s really trying as hard as he is, he should be pregnant by now.

Leo’s too scared to tell his Alpha that if Leo’s perfectly fine, there’s something wrong with him.

So, Leo takes the fall instead. He takes the blame. The shameful looks from his in-laws and his own family. His husband's bruising words and frustration.

“Useless Omega...”

“A waste of space…”

“Should have never married you…”

It would be too much of a scandal for the two to get a divorce now, so Leo suffers quietly as his husband starts taking on multiple mistresses, his family pressuring him to produce an heir to their name.

Leo’s own family has given up on him, too embarrassed and disappointed to claim them as one of theirs any longer.

So, Leo waits patiently in a home that no longer feels like a place of comfort, still cooking and cleaning, just for the off chance that his husband does end up coming home, though, those days are extremely scarce now.

Leo doesn't even remember the last time he’s seen his Alpha. He’s spent his last few heats suffering in his cold nest as pain wracked through him, his Omega ready and begging, but no one there to sate him.

Leo’s still fine, though. He has to be. He has no other choice. Most Omegas have it off worse than him…

Leo swallows a distressed whine, blinking rapidly to clear his tears as he stares at another table set for two, but only him there to see the hard work.

He doesn’t know who he’s trying to convince.

God, he’s so, so fucking lonely.

He just wants someone to hug him, to console him, and convince him that everything’s going to be okay, but Leo has no one left.

It’s just him now.

His Alpha comes home randomly on a Tuesday, surprising Leo.

“Oh, Jungmin,” Leo gasps, fidgeting nervously as his Alpha glares at him. There’s a smaller figure behind him, and Leo tries his best not to sniff at the air curiously as a sweet aroma of strawberries fills their home.

“Omega,” Jungmin grunts, sidestepping and bringing forward a young boy.

Leo’s breath hitches as a beautiful face greets him, doll-like lips painted a pretty pink, wide doe eyes, and vibrant blonde hair. He’s dainty, his body curved perfectly, and his demeanor shy, but incredibly polite, as he blinks up at Leo through his long eyelashes, smiling and bowing his head.

Leo bows back immediately, glancing over confused at his Alpha.

Obviously, this must be his next new mistress, but why is he bringing him here?

“This is Sangwon,” Jungmin smiles and pats the boy's blonde hair, “He’ll be staying with us for a while.” Jungmin clears his throat and steps closer to Leo, towering over him, and making Leo shrink into himself, instinctively baring his neck, “I expect you to play nice. He’ll be taking your spot, Omega. You’ll be helping me train him.”

Leo nods wordlessly, watching with tired eyes as his husband leads the new Omega around, talking softly to him and caressing his back gently.

Leo is just so, so tired.

He sighs to himself and turns to prepare lunch, not noticing the way Sangwon’s eyes linger on him.

Jungmin stays with Sangwon in the house for a week longer, blatantly ignoring Leo as he focuses all his attention on the younger Omega.

The only time he even talks to Leo is if he needs something.

“Draw a bath for Sangwon, Omega.”

“Make dinner. Sangwon doesn’t like shrimp or peanuts.”

“Make my bed. Make sure you get the stains out.”

What’s worse is the amount of sex the two seem to have.

Sangwon’s a loud moaner, and his Alpha seems to like it. Leo can hear Jungmin encouraging the Omega to moan louder, to stretch his legs even wider, to take his knot.

Leo can only cry silently in his nest with a pillow over his head, trying to muffle the sounds of everything he’s ever wanted.

Leo can’t even be mad at the other Omega, which is the worst part. He’s so incredibly sweet, always looking at Leo with little stars in his eyes. He’s the perfect Omega. Young, sweet, polite— everything Leo’s not.

So, Leo endures it. He only has to put up with it until Sangwon doesn’t end up pregnant. It’s what always happens. As soon as another mistress doesn’t fall pregnant, his Alpha's family insists he drops them and move onto the next one.

It’s both sad and funny how his in-laws and husband are in denial. They know by now that the problem isn't the Omegas, it’s the Alpha, but they continue to try, anyway.

“Omega,” Jungmin's voice cuts through the air sharply, making Leo flinch from his spot at the stove where he’s cooking beef stew. He swallows his nerves and turns around, bowing his head.

“…yes, Alpha?”

Leo knows better than to look up, so he continues to stare at his shoes, trying his best to ignore the heat of the glare being sent his way.

“I leave tomorrow for a business trip. I won’t be back for two weeks. I expect Sangwon to know everything I expect of him by the time I return. Understood?”

Even if Leo didn’t, it’s not like it mattered. His Alpha’s word is final.

“Yes, Alpha,” Leo responds cordially, deepening his bow and ignoring the way his hands tremble against his stomach.

Jungmin snorts before he turns his attention to the Omega wrapped around his arm, “Come, my love.” Jungmin’s voice sweetens instantly, deep with hidden intentions as he leads Sangwon to the living room, “Let Alpha take care of you.”

Leo turns back stiffly to the stove, idly stirring the pot as the couch squeaks just a few feet away, little giggles filling the air, “Alpha…” Sangwon gasps, a wet smack and the ruffling of clothes following it shortly after, “We shouldn’t…” Sangwon sounds hesitant, but with the way his voice turns breathless, Leo can tell he’s into it.

“Don’t mind him,” Jungmin grumbles, muffled as he kisses at Sangwon’s neck, “He’s not important.”

Sangwon moans loudly, and Leo clenches his fist, his bottom lip wobbling as he fights to control his breathing. He wants to scream, cry, throw everything in sight, but instead, he stands stiff as a board as his husband fucks another man. In the same room as him.

God, Leo’s going to be sick.

“Fuck,” Jungmin hisses as the couch creaks loudly, the unmistakable sound of skin slapping against skin meeting Leo’s ears, “You’re still so loose from last night.”

Sangwon whines loudly, a garbled moan slipping from his mouth, “That’s—uh! That’s c-cause… Alpha fucked me so… hah—! So good la-last night…”

God, he sounds so pretty, so perfect, as he tears apart Leo’s life— his self-esteem, his worth— and Leo… Leo can’t even be mad at him.

Tears fall down and mix into the stew, and Leo sniffles miserably as they continue to fuck right behind him. He risks a glance, and his breath catches in his throat, eyes wide at what greets him.

Sangwon is riding the Alpha intensely, his Alpha facing the young Omega, hands tight on his hips as he’s lost to pleasure, but Sangwon…

Sangwon stares darkly at Leo over the Alpha’s shoulder, and once he sees Leo looking, he smirks, straightening himself up to ride the Alpha even harder, his hair bouncing wildly, and his moans turning louder.

He never once takes his eyes off Leo, though.

Leo freezes like a deer in headlights, trying his best to stop his scent from sweetening as heat floods south, his face flushing as he stares at the two.

Sangwon tilts his head, blinking his eyes seductively, showing off his bare neck.

It’s almost as if… he’s offering himself to Leo.

Leo startles from the thought, shaking his head and turning away, cursing at himself for being so naive.

Clearly, Sangwon’s amused and toying with him, rubbing it in who the Alpha favors now.

Leo shuts the stove off and places a lid on the stew, wiping at his eyes as he shuffles away and towards the stairs, fleeing to his nest.

He doesn’t look back once, but he feels the weight of Sangwon’s gaze on his back the whole time.

Leo keeps himself in his bedroom, already dreading the day that awaits him.

He listens closely, waiting for the sound of the front door closing and a car starting outside, before he gets up and peeks his head out his door cautiously.

He doesn’t step out until he hears the car leave, waiting another five minutes to make sure Jungmin’s fully gone and not returning before he finally makes his way downstairs.

Sangwon sits at the kitchen counter, idly swinging his legs as he scrolls through his phone. Once he hears the stairs creak, he glances up and smiles once he sees Leo, “Good morning, Omega-nim,” Sangwon greets politely, bowing his head.

Leo swallows dryly, confused by the change of behavior that he saw yesterday, but bows back as well, “Good morning,” Leo croaks.

He clears his throat awkwardly before shuffling over to the kitchen, his back to Sangwon, “…I’m getting started on breakfast.”

Leo doesn’t get a response as he searches through the fridge. Instead, a pair of arms wrap around his waist, a cold nose settles against the back of his neck, and he inhales deeply.

Leo jumps, his heart thudding in his chest as he glances automatically towards the door, expecting his Alpha to come storming in and discipline him, “Wh-what are you doing?” Leo panics, unsure if he should step away or just allow the younger Omega to do as he pleases.

Either way, Leo’s in trouble. If Jungmin walks in right now, Leo will take the fall for the blame, but if he pulls away and Sangwon complains about it to Jungmin, Leo will also get in trouble.

It’s a double-edged sword.

The arms around his waist tighten as Sangwon presses his chest against Leo’s back, humming as he nuzzles into Leo’s neck like a cat, “You smell so sweet, Omega-nim,” Sangwon slurs, as if he’s already drunk off of Leo’s scent, “Like a dreamsicle melting on a hot, summer day,” a hand presses firmly against Leo’s stomach, making him swallow a whimper.

“Sangwon… please, I-I don’t—“

“I like the way you say my name,” Sangwon interrupts, his fingers slipping underneath Leo’s shirt and spreading his palm flat against Leo’s skin, making his scent spike and goosebumps rise. A quiet whimper slips through Leo’s mouth. Sangwon groans at the reaction, “God, you smell so good— so fertile.”

Leo freezes once he realizes what Sangwon just said, a feeling of dread washing over him.

“What do you…?”

He can feel Sangwon’s smirk against his skin, “I have a very sensitive nose,” Sangwon giggles, his other hand sliding up Leo’s body until he reaches his chin, turning Leo’s head until they face each other, Leo’s neck protesting at the awkward angle, “I could smell how fertile and ready to breed you are even before I walked into the house,” Sangwon admits easily, as if he’s not causing Leo’s carefully constructed lies to come crashing down.

Leo panics.

“You can’t tell Jungmin,” Leo begs, his breathing turning labored and short, his chest constricting tightly in his chest, “Please, he can’t-“

“I won’t,” Sangwon reassures him softly with a smile, “Your secret is safe with me, I promise.” Sangwon lets Leo go, tilting his head innocently, “So, what are you teaching me today, Omega-nim?”

It takes Leo a moment to remember how to breathe properly again, clutching at his chest as he wills his racing heart to calm down. Sangwon watches him with a knowing look, making Leo’s nerves still feel unsettled, his guard still up as he tries to figure out what Sangwon’s true intentions are.

“...first, we make breakfast,” Leo mumbles, turning his back to Sangwon. Sangwon follows him around obediently, watching closely over Leo’s shoulder. Leo does his best to ignore him, his heart still pounding erratically and his cheeks burning from the intensity of Sangwon’s stare.

Focus, Leo.

“Alpha doesn’t really like traditional Korean breakfasts,” Leo continues as he pulls out all the ingredients he needs, “He prefers American breakfasts. With lots of meat and eggs.”

Sangwon lets out an uninterested noise as he watches Leo oil up the pan, “And what about you? What kind of breakfast do you prefer?”

Leo freezes for a moment, unprepared for the sudden question. It doesn’t matter what Leo likes; he’s just… always gone along with what his parents or husband ask of him. He thinks maybe there was a time when he preferred eating his grandma’s homemade miso soup in the mornings, but that was…

“It doesn’t matter,” Leo whispers, his voice cracking near the end as it trails off. He clears his throat and averts his eyes away from Sangwon’s prying ones, “I only eat what Alpha wants.” Sangwon huffs, clearly displeased, so Leo chides him gently, “You’ll have to learn to do the same, soon. Especially if Alpha decides to keep you.”

“What do you mean, keep me?” Sangwon asks. Leo would have thought he was offended if it wasn’t for his genuinely curious tone.

Sangwon is… a very strange Omega.

“...you’re not the first one,” Leo admits, fidgeting nervously, unsure of how Sangwon will react, “But you’re the first one he’s ever brought back, so he must like you.”

Sangwon is silent for a moment before he leans forward into Leo’s space, their faces inches apart. “I’ll be the last,” Sangwon promises, his eyes flashing with a dark emotion as he stares at Leo intensely, “You don’t have to worry about him bringing anyone else home.”

Oh, that’s strangely… sweet? In a way, but it’s also insanely tragic. Sangwon doesn’t realize that if the Alpha decides to keep him, Leo’s life is basically over. Even if Sangwon doesn’t fall pregnant, he’s heard from his in-laws that they’re thinking about getting a surrogate and just dealing with the fact that the baby won’t be fully theirs. And Leo’s Alpha… can’t even stand to look at him anymore.

Leo will have no choice but to leave, and with nowhere to go since no one wants him, Leo’s pretty much better off dead.

Leo smiles serenely instead, “I hope so.”

They eat breakfast before cleaning the dishes, and then Leo leads Sangwon around the house, guiding the young Omega through Leo’s daily chores.

“Is it really necessary to dust the ceiling fans daily?” Sangwon huffs, his lips pouting as he watches Leo stand on a stepping ladder, reaching up high to clean said ceiling fan.

Leo blinks before laughing softly, shaking his head at Sangwon’s sulky expression, “Alpha won’t be happy if there’s even a single speck of dust,” Leo says matter-of-factly, as if speaking from experience, “Even if it looks clean, it doesn’t hurt to go over it anyway.”

Leo climbs down slowly, Sangwon’s hands on his waist to help guide him down, and Leo fights a shudder as their skin comes in contact, folding the small ladder and placing it back in its spot in the closet.

Sangwon follows as Leo moves on to the next task, his body moving on autopilot as Sangwon groans and drags his feet behind him, “You do this every day?” Sangwon whines incredulously, “How do you even do it?”

Leo shrugs, “Not every day, but… I do as much as I can.”

“Do you ever rest?”

“Sometimes. It’s easier to just do all I can, though. It’s my routine at this point. Plus, it makes the time go by faster.”

It also helps distract Leo from just how lonely and touch-starved he is.

“You don’t ever just go out and spend time with friends or something?”

Leo pauses for a moment before he swallows dryly and continues forward, “...Alpha doesn’t let me leave unless I have to… and I-... I don’t have any friends, anyway.”

It hurts to admit, but it’s the truth.

When they get through most of the cleaning tasks, it’s lunch time. Leo heads to the kitchen and prepares a light salad for the two of them.

“It’s best not to eat a lot for lunch,” Leo explains as they sit at the table, “I always prepare a big dinner for Alpha, so I don’t want to be too full when he comes home.”

Sangwon side-eyes the salad, his nose crinkling, “This is literally like two pieces of lettuce… how do you even get full from this?”

Leo shrugs, “You’re not supposed to get full, that’s the point. Plus… Alpha will say something if you start gaining weight.” Leo pushes his salad away, suddenly sick to his stomach as he remembers the last time he gained some pounds. It’s not… a good memory. “I gain weight easily, though, so if you’re able to burn calories, you can eat more.”

Sangwon huffs and rolls his eyes, “That’s stupid.” Sangwon pushes Leo’s salad back towards him, “You should be able to eat what you want.”

Leo blinks, surprised by Sangwon’s reaction, “I can’t, though…” Leo starts slowly, “I’m getting older now, it’s important I watch what I eat.”

“But you hardly eat,” Sangwon protests, “And you’re not even that old.” Sangwon shoots up out of his chair, circling the table until he stands behind Leo.

Leo sits up straighter, his head swinging around to look up at Sangwon, “What are you—!?”

A pair of hands wrap around his waist, Sangwon’s fingers nearly meeting in the middle across his stomach, “This is not normal,” Sangwon grumbles, ignoring Leo’s protests, “He expects you to bear his baby, but he doesn’t want you to get any bigger than this? You’re practically skin and bones!”

Sangwon’s fingers flex, digging into Leo’s skin, making him flinch. “Y-your waist is thinner than mine,” Leo tries prying Sangwon’s fingers off of him, but his Omega preens at the touch, making his grip weak, “And I’m not a big eater, anyway.”

Sangwon snorts, nuzzling into the back of Leo’s neck, “I’m twenty-four and have a much faster metabolism, my waist is supposed to be thinner,” Sangwon huffs, making Leo shiver as his warm breath hits his skin, “I just don’t understand how he expects you to be healthy and support a baby in your tummy, if he doesn’t want you to gain weight.”

Sangwon’s hands tighten on him, his fingers moving from his waist to Leo’s stomach, pressing right below his belly button.

Leo keens, baring his throat and spreading his legs wider, his scent sweetening as slick starts pooling out of him.

Sangwon groans at the reaction, taking Leo’s invitation and pressing his face into Leo’s neck, scenting the other Omega.

Leo tries fighting his instincts, blinking the haze out of his eyes as his Omega swoons inside him, eager at the mention of babies, “I don’t… understand…” Leo admits, his voice shaky and hesitant, “I thought you… hated me.”

Sangwon stiffens before he pulls back slowly, his face scrunched up as if Leo’s words physically wounded him, “Why would you think that?”

Leo is so incredibly confused and lost, still unsure of how to read this young Omega. “You… this is a competition,” Leo's voice cracks as tears swell up, “You’re here to… take my Alpha away,” Leo spits out as his voice wobbles, “You… you literally fucked my husband ye-yesterday and— and rubbed it in my f-face, we’re supposed to… hate each other.”

He wants to backpeddle and just act like none of this even happened. He just has to endure training his replacement, and then once his Alpha is pleased, Leo will be cast aside and forgotten, Sangwon taking his spot.

Sangwon’s face crumbles, and his voice hardens, “How did I rub it in your face?”

Leo sniffles, rubbing at his eyes, sick and tired of crying, “Y-you… smirked at m-me… and… and looked like… you—you were… mocking me… with the fact th-that you had my Alpha… n-not me.”

Sangwon lets out a strangled noise, prying Leo’s hands away from his face, and cooing once Leo’s teary eyes come into view, “Oh sweet thing,” Sangwon wipes at his eyes, cradling his face gently, “It’s not him I want, it’s you.”

Sangwon is eighteen when he first meets Leo.

Well ‘meet’ might be a little bit of an overstatement.

Realistically, Sangwon is eighteen when he first learns about Leo.

He’s joining his parents at a ball hosted at their company, inviting both employees of their company and other companies with which they work closely.

Sangwon stands bored by his father's side, keeping his face neutral as he watches people more than he actually listens to the conversation going on around him, when a very strong scent hits him.

Even though he’s freshly presented, his sensitive nose easily picks up on the sweet and milky scent of freshly squeezed oranges, reminding Sangwon faintly of dreamsicles.

He tries to remain unfazed, but his curiosity wins him over, his head swiveling around to catch sight of who must be an Omega who entered the room.

It doesn’t take Sangwon long to find the source of the smell, and his breath hitches as he freezes, eyes wide as his heart starts pounding in his chest, enamored by the sight of a beautiful Omega with thick, pouty lips and fluffy brown hair.

He has intense eyes that seem to glitter across the room, his face set in a polite smile. He’s wearing expensive designer clothes with shining jewelry decorating his body.

He’s… beautiful, handsome, gorgeous, and Sangwon can’t seem to take his eyes off of him.

There’s an Alpha standing next to him with his hands wrapped around the Omega’s waist, matching rings adorning their fingers, and Sangwon can’t help the heat of jealousy that flares up within him.

He can already tell by looking at them that this Alpha doesn’t deserve the Omega by his side. He should be worshipping the ground he walks on, attending to his every need and want, but instead, he walks around, talking to everyone, ignoring the exquisite diamond he carries beside him.

Sangwon’s father notices that he’s distracted and looks at where his eyes are set.

Sangwon’s father laughs, “Ahhh, has Jungmin caught your attention? He’d be a good partner— very rich and from a good family. Unfortunately, he’s already taken, Won.”

Sangwon shakes his head, “Who’s the Omega he’s with?”

His father blinks, placing a hand on Sangwon’s back and leading them to a more secluded area. Sangwon refuses to take his eyes off the Omega as he’s led further away.

“That’s Lee Leo. He’s also from an important family…” His father hesitates for a moment, “Won, you’re not thinking of starting any problems, are you?”

“I want him,” Sangwon says petulantly, a little too spoiled and used to getting what he wants. He turns to pout up at his father, “I want that Omega, Dad.”

His father laughs again, shaking his head, used to his son's antics, “Unfortunately, you can’t have that one.”

Sangwon whines, “Why not? I could treat him better than that useless Alpha, anyway.”

His father snorts, patting Sangwon on the back, “I don’t doubt that, but Jungmin is a very important business partner.” His father pauses as he takes a sip of his champagne, “There are some rumors floating around… let’s see how things play out first.”

Sangwon reluctantly agrees, but no matter how hard his parents try to distract him, he can’t take his mind off Lee Leo.

Sangwon starts attending more of his father’s events, acting as though he’s interested in the family business, but everyone knows he’s there for only one reason: to catch sight of Lee Leo.

It’s like the older Omega just gets more and more prettier as time goes by, aging like a fine wine, and just making Sangwon’s obsession with him grow deeper.

He hasn’t had the opportunity to talk to the other Omega yet, but Sangwon waits patiently.

He always gets what he wants.

He’s twenty when he hears the word that Leo is infertile and the Kim family is searching for other Omegas to mate with their son so they could have an heir.

Anger festers in Sangwon as he listens to the gossip. It’s all false. Sangwon’s nose has never failed him, and he knows the rumors are all bullshit. Leo’s probably the most fertile Omega he’s ever met, so just what game is Jungmin and his family playing at?

The anger deepens when, at the next company party, he sees a random Omega wrapped around Jungmin’s arm, Leo not in sight.

Sangwon wants to strangle the idiot of an Alpha as he flaunts the new mistress on his arm to everyone.

Sangwon's father seems to notice the dangerous energy and leads him away, “Control your face, Sangwon.”

Sangwon ignores him, “Where’s Leo?”

“You’re still set on that? You know he’s infertile, right? There’s no rea-“

Sangwon’s eyes flash red, and he bares his teeth, growling lowly in warning, “There’s nothing wrong with Leo. His Alpha is a liar.”

His father freezes, sending Sangwon a complicated look, “… I’ll have my men look into it.”

Sangwon feels downright murderous as his father's men look into the situation, painting an ugly picture.

Lee Leo only leaves his house to go grocery shopping, and that’s it. He never has anyone with him, no Alpha, no bodyguards, just him on his own using public transport.

Sangwon immediately sends two of his men to subtly follow the Omega and make sure he gets through his journey safely.

Jungmin seems to have a new Omega on his arms every couple of months, giving them enough time to fall pregnant, and if they don’t, he throws them aside and moves to the next one.

The Alpha also hardly comes home, and Sangwon's heart clenches as he imagines how lonely Leo must be, left waiting in a nest he’s built for years with someone, just for them to abandon him and fuck other Omegas.

Sangwon waits as his father asks of him, originally planning for the couple to divorce so that Sangwon can swoop in and steal Leo, but as the years pass and nothing changes, Sangwon’s patience wanes.

He can’t sit by idly anymore.

“I need you to trust me,” Sangwon says vaguely to his father as they sip and talk to work partners at the next event. His eyes are set on Jungmin and the new Omega wrapped around his arm.

His father side-eyes him curiously, glancing at where Sangwon is staring. He sighs, “You know I do. Don’t get in too much trouble.”

Sangwon grins wildly before standing up, straightening out his outfit as he gets ready for the show, “I know you’ll bail me out if I do.”

He hears his father sigh again as Sangwon saunters off, grabbing another champagne flute from a waiter before clumsily bumping into Jungmin, the Alpha startling and catching Sangwon around the waist.

Sangwon gasps, fluttering his eyelashes and reaching up to grab the Alpha around his biceps, “I’m so sorry!” Sangwon makes his words light and airy on purpose, tears gathering in the corner of his eyes as he pulls out a handkerchief to try and clean up the spilled drink on the Alpha’s shirt, “I wasn’t looking where I was going, I’m so sorry!”

Jungmin’s eyes widen as he takes in the sight of Sangwon, a cocky smirk growing on his face as he grasps the Omega’s hands in his, “I’m fine, I have plenty of suits besides this one, don’t worry. What about you, pretty? Are you hurt?”

Sangwon cackles on the inside, pleased that his plan is already working. Alphas like Jungmin are always easy to manipulate.

Sangwon blushes, tucking a stray blonde hair behind his ear, “I-I’m fine, thank you.”

Even though it physically disgusts Sangwon to do so, he keeps up his act, acting like the perfect and shy Omega straight from Jungmin’s wet dreams, allowing the Alpha to do as he pleases with him.

His efforts pay off after about a month, when, after sex, Jungmin brings up a proposition, “I think you’re the one.” Jungmin sighs, his fingers tracing patterns into Sangwon’s waist, his knot still locked uncomfortably inside him.

Sangwon blinks curiously at him, smiling sweetly. Jungmin grins and kisses him. It takes everything in Sangwon to not cringe and physically recoil; instead, he swoons and melts into the kiss.

“If you’d like, I want you to come stay in my home, where my ex-wife will prepare you on how to take over the household,” Jungmin continues, “And once you learn everything, I plan on kicking him out so we can get married and you can take over.”

Sangwon wants to kick this stupid fucking Alpha in the balls and strangle him with a pillow. He hasn’t even divorced Leo yet, but here he is talking about abandoning him and kicking him to the curb. Sangwon hates him.

“I’d love to,” Sangwon gushes instead, smiling brightly, “I can’t wait to marry you!”

When Sangwon finally sees Leo again, he swears he can feel his heat almost start on the spot, his own Omega howling and swooning at the sight of the other Omega.

Sangwon wants to wrap his arms around the other Omega and bury his face into his neck, scenting him freely and hiding him from the rest of the world. God, he’s missed him so fucking much, and Sangwon subtly inhales as deep as he can, pleased to see that that mily scent is still as strong as the day Sangwon first smelt it.

Sangwon keeps his act up with great willpower, knowing that if he fucks up now, he’ll probably lose his only chance of getting Leo out of this hellscape.

Just wait, Leo. I’ll get you out of here soon, my love.

“It’s not him I want, it’s you.”

Sangwon watches in amusement as Leo’s face flashes through a bunch of emotions in rapid succession, processing Sangwon’s words slowly.

Sangwon can’t help but be a little greedy. He’s tired of waiting.

He moves in closer, their faces inches apart, noses almost touching, “It was so hard for me to act like I was interested in your Alpha when all I wanted to do was bend you over and make you mine,” Sangwon whispers, watching in delight as Leo’s breath hitches and his face burns a bright red.

Leo’s scent spikes in sweetness at the words, and Sangwon groans, his own scent sweetening in response, “Every time he kissed me, I imagined it was you, instead. Anytime he fucked me, it took everything in me to moan his name and not yours.”

Leo whimpers, his walls starting to crumble as he bares his neck, his legs spreading wider so Sangwon can take the spot in between them. Sangwon already knows the older Omega is probably just as soaked as he is, the smell of both of their slick filling the room.

“God, all I’ve wanted to do since I first walked through that door is bite your pretty neck and breed you like you deserve,” Sangwon practically growls, gritting his teeth and closing his eyes as he takes deep breaths, trying to control his hunger.

“S-Sangwon!” Leo gasps, jolting as if Sangwon’s words physically touched him, “We c-can’t!”

Sangwon rolls his eyes, “Why? Because of your Alpha?” Sangwon seethes, “We both know your Alpha doesn’t care about you. That useless waste of space cares more about getting his dick wet than actually taking care of his Omega.”

Leo still looks hesitant.

Sangwon knows that in some kind of fucked up way, Leo probably still cares about his Alpha, so Sangwon keeps pushing, hoping that Leo will give him the chance, “Come on, sweetheart,” Sangwon coos, watching as Leo melts at the words, his eyes turning a little hazy.

Sangwon celebrates on the inside. That’s it, Omega. Give in to your instincts. Let me take care of you.

“I know you want this,” Sangwon moves for the kill, his hand sliding under Leo’s shirt and pressing into the skin right below his belly button, “I can give you what you’ve always wanted,” Sangwon promises, “I’ll fuck you so much better than that Alpha. I’ll fill you up so much that your body will have no choice but to give you a pup.”

The impact of his words is instantaneous. Leo’s body trembles as he lets out a little moan, a shaky hand coming to rest on Sangwon’s hand, pressing it deeper into his stomach.

“Please,” Leo whispers, a little broken, a little desperate, “Please give me a pup, Sangwon.”
