Chapter 1: Weird.

Chapter Text

Regect had been in front of the school — Did he want to move? Hell no. But he was forced to, and he was already hating it. And the worse part was, he had no reason to move!

CREAAAK..

Being greeted with . . Bright lights. And a said ‘guide‘ waiting with their arms crossed. He was guessing it was a teacher — So he frowned for a spilt second, changing it back to something that couldn’t be read.

'' Already? . . Ahem — Hello, . . ''
The voice would shake their head as they attempted to say their greeting — But they didn’t know his name, looking down as if it would be painted on the floor.

'' ReGect . '' His voice sounding unexpectedly deep — He could tell by the teachers look,  they were most definitely questioning what name was that.

'' . . Is that — '' The teacher attempted to speak, but he would cut them off before they could have said something that would have offended him and more pissed than he already is.

'' Just — Call me Re. '' His eyebrow twitched from the interaction — But he didn’t want to make a bad impression already, or more so yet.

To be honest, he wasn’t even paying attention what the teacher was saying. He can probably have enough common sense to go find where he needs to go. His eyes trailing around the hallways he will soon walk in most days.

'' And . . Here’s your first class . You understand most of it, right ? '' The teacher would look at the door — Then back at him. Waiting for a response from the other.

'' Mm — Yeah. Thanks… '' He would look at the teacher one last time — Before walking into said classroom. At least the lights are more dimmed than in the hallways. His hands slipping into his pockets.

———

Ze would have his phone behind his computer — Scrolling endlessly on social media apps. Hearing the door open, his gaze lifted up for a second. A clear look of confusion was on his face when seeing an unknown player walk into the already almost full classroom.

Who was this guy?

He slipped his phone back into his pocket — As the teacher pointed at the seat behind Ze, well. At least he can find out whoever this new guy was.. He was sure he was new, as he hadn’t seen someone that looks like that in this school before.

When the guy sat down into the chair — Ze would immediately put his arm over his desk and speak to him, the corners of his mouth curving up slightly as he spoke.

'' Im guessing you are new . '' Ze felt stupid for asking that question. — But he didn’t want to show how his personality was is towards others .. Yet. His arms resting now on the front part of the guys desk.

'' Yes . I thought that was clear . '' The guy would look over at Ze, his voice didn’t have any emotion to it that was easy to read. — Which already irritated him.

Ze would stare at the guy for a few moments. — He slowly turned back around to face forward. Letting what he said last float in between them both.

He looked back up at the teacher quieted down the class — Now staring at his open computer on a new tab. A thought came through his mind immediately while he started to zone out, staring at a random student near the front of the classroom.

That was a really shitty conversation.

After that thought ran through his mind, his head lowered down to his computer keyboard. He needed a nap, badly. And he didn’t want to act like his usual self when in school.

The last thing he noticed — Or heard was other students chatting among themselves, and the guy behind him seeming to shift around. Hearing another creak from the old school chairs this place had..

Technically.. He wasn’t even sleeping. His eyes were still open and he knew what he was looking at — He just .. Was really zoned out. Like he was stuck with himself and his thoughts.

Thinking about sports, his grades.. All of that stuff. A frown slowly settled in on his face when he realized he had soccer practice — until 7pm. He loved the sport, but he really didn’t want to go.  To deal with his coach, and his teammates that focus more on him than their training.

I mean..

At least he was still popular?

As long he contains himself — Or more so how he acts during school.. Then he should be fine, as long he still had something to be  known for.

He forced his eyes shut after the last part dared to even step into his consciousness. Not wanting to admit that having that role would affect him so much.

His eyes would soften down to a light shut, since at this point .. He was probably out like a baby. His hands instinctively going into his hoodie pockets, like his hands were freezing cold from even staying for another second outside of them.

He didn’t remember anything after that.

———

Regect look around the classroom. Already seeing how other people would act, and making notes on .. Who to avoid. He was honestly bored — Like bored to the point he could walk out the classroom and take the scolding like it’s nothing.

His eyes went back to the guy sitting in the seat ahead of him.

…

Sleeping in class? Wow, what a classic. He was going to do the exact same thing, and probably do that in all his classes. At least for the first .. 3 days?

Ehh.. But that’s boring.

He didn’t even realize he was actually zoning out, and when he zoned back in. He was staring at the guys wallpaper on his computer. And it was himself? He must at least have a bit of an ego.

He eventually leaned back in his chair, letting a loud creak be known through the classroom. His head lifting up to look at the old ceiling, seeing slight marks on some of the tiles. Old school, that’s what he saw when looking up the school name and looking through the information.

Then, that conversation sneaked swiftly back into his mind.
