Ilya had never complained about his life. He had everything he wanted: a garage full of cars, the house he had always dreamed of—where, incidentally, he threw the best parties—and he had been captain of the same team ever since his rookie season. Now, at twenty-nine, he had a dream life.
And yet, for the past few months, he had felt like something was missing. He just had not figured out what it was yet.
He sank down onto his couch. Today was an off day, and he was not in the mood to go out partying tonight. For once, he had decided to slow down.
He turned on the TV, landing on a show that was often on at this hour.
“Boring.”
He let out a breath before grabbing his phone to see what was going on. He scrolled through his unread notifications: the hockey group chat, a message from a girl he had never texted back, his group chat with his two best friends, and an email.
An OnlyFans notification.
“Come check out the new profiles.”
He clicked on it out of curiosity.
