Since then, they’d been the closest of friends. They did everything together. One could hardly be seen without the other following in tow, that was how close they were. Everyone in the neighborhood knew it at that point. With Till inevitably meant Ivan was somewhere nearby.
They went to the same school, same classes, same interests, same friends… Even graduated together.
But one day, Ivan started distancing himself last winter.
Now it’s July.
Ivan and his family were moving away tomorrow.
Now, the two of them were going on one last car ride.

till is about to send his own message in the chat, hidden behind a username he knows ivan won’t recognize as his, when he catches sight of what’s sitting in ivan’s lap and he scowls, thoroughly distracted.
as it is, ivan is giggling, about to address the matter at hand. “of course i have mr. tillbun here with me! you all already know he’s my most favorite character of all time!” ivan makes a show of holding up the plush teal bunny to his face and smothering its forehead with kisses. “mr. tillbun loves attention, you know, hehe.”
