Summary
Crumpled next to the tub, Kurama leaned forward with the last dregs of his energy, resting his head against the tiled surround. His hair should've fallen in light-blocking locks all around his face, but there was so much blood and sweat and dust crusted into it, it mostly just stuck to his neck and back.
He'd managed to peel the scorched remnants of his clothes off, at least. They lay in a heap by the door to the bathing area, and would bleed... well, more blood, and ash, and dirt and smoke and whatever else had been blown into the air... after they got soaked. Which would be soon. When Kurama managed to move enough to turn on the water and start rinsing off.

Hiruma wanted to know what he was good for, Sena guessed, and resolved to make himself sound useful by any means possible. He didn't kid himself that it would save him from whatever pain was in store for him, but maybe in the end Hiruma might decide not to kill him, if he had some long-term value.
"They ever play you in a team?"
What few pitiful examples of his own usefulness Sena had managed to gather now fell apart in the face of his confusion.
"A sports team," said Hiruma impatiently.
It wouldn't do to look too incredulous. If his master looked at his pathetic body and saw some cannon fodder for whatever sport he had in mind, Sena had to show willing.
It must not have worked, because Hiruma gave a pleased little smirk. "Good, no one's seen you, then."
