“It’ll be fun!” he says. “It’ll be like Watford again, like we’re roommates, you know, except without all the contempt and trying to kill each other.”I realize I’ve been staring at his mouth this whole time. “Yes, well, without the Anathema there’ll be nothing to keep my hands off you.” Did...did I just say that?
“Oh,” he says, mouth hanging open a bit (mouth breather). He closes it, pulls his bottom lip between his teeth. “Good, then.”
SIMON
I think of what Baz said, earlier. That he wants his hands all over me. (That feeling’s mutual too.) I’ve got a list of things I want to do to Baz, & I’ve crossed some of them off since we’ve been together. I’d like to cross off some more.
The part of me that really wants this is starting to be a lot more demanding than the part that's scared shitless.
Yes, there's sex. But there's also a lot of feelings, personal growth, & massive metaphorical trust falls.

"You're the same," mutters Simon. "What'd you do? Sing to them?"
"Yes," Baz says coolly, "I sang them lullabies until they drifted off to dream world. No," he adds before Simon can figure out if he's joking or not, "I played my violin at them."
"At them," Simon repeats.
"To them," he amends. "It works on my sisters."
"You're like the Pied Piper," says Simon, semi-awed. Baz sniffs haughtily.
"Hardly."

“Baz—" Simon starts, and Baz reprimands himself for thinking of his best friend as lovely (even though he is, even though he has thought so for quite some time.) He shakes his head, raises an eyebrow again, encourages Simon to continue. “Is it weird if I haven’t, ah,” Simon pauses, takes a deep breath. And now Baz stops walking, because Simon is blustering, and as endearing as it may be, he has never liked to see Simon struggle— “I haven’t kissed anyone!” Simon blurts hastily, his cheeks blazing, his hands still tugging mercilessly at his sleeves.
