Dead Boy Detectives Potion Week is a fandom event celebrating all the possibilities that magic can offer so all of your magical creations are welcome - fanfiction, fanart, gifs, edits, moodboards and more!

The event will run from 5th of October 2025 to 11th of October 2025, and each day a new potion will take effect. You can choose one, a few or all of them, or even combine the prompts however you see fit.

Since it's an event for all things DBDA, all ships and characters are welcome here, same with both sfw and nsfw works. The sky is the limit!

The prompts are:

day 1 - 5/10/25
TRUTH POTION - Perfect for loosening the tongue and learning a few new secrets.

day 2 - 6/10/25
AMNESIA POTION - Removes a person's memories. Temporarily... probably!

day 3 - 7/10/25
INTOXICATING POTION - Works like the finest liquor, even on entities with no digestive system.

day 4 - 8/10/25
DESIRE POTION - Reveals people's truest desires. May also make them need to act on them.

day 5 - 9/10/25

SHAPESHIFTING POTION - For changing into anything and anyone.

day 6 - 10/10/25

BINDING POTION - BINDING POTION - Creates a bond between two people. Or was it between a person and something else? The label is confusing.

day 7 - 11/10/25

MYSTERY POTION - Its label has long been erased and its effects cannot be discerned. Most curious...

Only post works that are entries for the DBDA Potion Week!

Post your work on the right day for each prompt. If you don't make it in time for a specific potion day, don't worry! You can still post whatever you create at a later date, just don't do it any earlier.

Feel free to get as creative with the prompts as you want to, magic is tricky after all, the effects of the potions may end up surprising whoever decides to drink them. You also don't have to limit yourselves to potions - spells and other forms of magic that fit the prompt can be used instead!
