Summary
Jason Todd wakes up in the wrong Gotham.
Here, he stayed dead. Here, his death broke his family so completely they became the monsters they once fought. Dick Grayson haunts the skyline with wings and talons, Barbara Gordon moves like a spider made of shadow, and something that might have once been Batman rules from a corrupted cave.
The city is quarantined, the air tastes of ozone and old blood, and Jason should be running.
Instead, he finds himself drawn to the creature that was once his brother—the one stalking him through twisted streets with eyes that still burn with something almost human.
Some hunts, it turns out, go both ways.

Constantine swore under his breath and knelt beside them, already checking for magical backlash. “You absolute maniac. That wasn’t just a spell—that was a rewrite. You don’t pull something like that without consequences.”
She swallowed. “Did it work?”
Superman landed beside them, nodding slowly. “He’s gone.”
Relief washed across her face—but it was short-lived.“…Good,” she whispered. Then her brow furrowed. “But… that was… big. Bigger than I wanted.”
Batman stiffened. “Define ‘big.’”
Zatanna exhaled shakily. “I didn’t just bind him. I reached… around him. Into the scaffolding of reality itself.”
Constantine went very still. “Zee.”
“There might be…” She winced, pressing a hand to her temple. “A fracture. Small. Multiversal.”Batman’s grip tightened imperceptibly. “Define ‘fracture.’”
She met his gaze, eyes suddenly sharp despite her condition. “Something that answers magic that big"
