Midoriya Izuku had a lot of free time on his hands. He loved to spend hours tucked away in the library, diving deep into the winding paths of his mind. But there were times when he felt like crawling out of his skin- when the only relief he could find was pushing his body to the limit. There's a rush in the burn of well-used muscles, an exhilaration in aching lungs that he finds himself returning to.
When late night runs find Izuku racing along rooftops, well... He can't help but become addicted.

Summary
Hizashi caught Shouta’s eye and grinned as Izuku got trapped in place by all three cats attempting to climb his jeans. Shouta reached over to take and squeeze Hizashi’s hand, just because he could. Hizashi was just proud of the progress Izuku had made to get to this point. He was also proud of Shouta for opening his heart and home not only to them, but to a kid they were now raising as well. That was a lot, for the ancient man.
Shouta was also thinking along similar lines, because he’d been around a long, long time, and most of that had been spent without a family. It was by his own choice and he didn’t regret it, not really, but he didn’t want to live like that anymore. He still wasn’t interested in a life of absolute chaos, but he didn’t think he could back to the lonely quiet he’d spent his solitude in anymore. Not after experiencing the joy that came along with the reassuring, happy noise both Hizashi and Izuku brought to his life.
He was going to have to really buckle down on his research because each passing day made him realize he wanted nothing more than to grow old with the family he was slowly but surely building.
