Gavin is incandescent with fury. “You know what?” he snaps. “Fine.”
He doesn’t need hindsight to conclude the obvious; he knows full well in the moment that this is where he lets things spiral out of control. When he sets his jaw and yanks his tee up over his head, left in his undershirt like he’s about to start a fight, it’s crystal-clear to him that he’s stepping past a point of no return. But—
—there is no but. What threadbare excuse does he have? He made me do it, Your Honor. I was so irritated that I had no choice but to take my clothes off. Gavin leaves his desk and throws himself onto the nest of pillows at the head of his bed, zooms in with the webcam until the focus returns to the lens, and parts his knees.

GV500 leaves the mob, gets on camera, and tries his best to forget about organized crime-- until Special Agent RK900 shows up at his doorstep with some questions about his old employer. Or, how two androids having a bad time get solved by a murder.

Gavin follows the newly-awakened RK900 through the streets just before the revolution, watching him deviate every android he comes across. RK900's glad for the company.

Summary
RK900, the most advanced android CyberLife has to offer, is now himself a full-blown deviant. Connor couldn't be prouder! There's an ever-present, ever-growing need for androids like them (what with rampant anti-android hate crimes and Red Ice distribution growing exponentially). It only makes perfect sense that RK900 work alongside his predecessor, at least it should make perfect sense, but Detective Reed can't fathom why in God's green earth they paired the plastic prick with him.
[Or the one where RK900 is Gavin's partner, and he's having none of it (until he does).]

Detective Conan Stern does his job well. Far better than most, and yet, he somehow still ends up with a partner. A disobedient partner, with a foul mouth, temper, and may just be as broken as himself. How this android made it through any form of quality assurance, he would never know.
But at least it might work out in the end, if everyone plays their cards right.
