Summary
Hermione had mostly convinced herself that she'd imagined the whole thing with Harry and Malfoy. There were plenty of reasons they might have walked off together that might explain everything. Harry wanted to show Malfoy some Quidditch equipment and something hanging in the shed messed his hair up. Harry challenged him to a quick broom race. They’d gotten into a brief physical altercation. Those all made perfect sense.
Why they had ensured they left and came back separately than one another, there was a perfectly innocent explanation for that, too. She just... hadn't been able to think of one in the two weeks spent analyzing the night.
