This was awesome!! Awesome!! Although... sometimes I wonder if we got Howard right... I sensed respect for him in Tony... specially in Iron man 2, I love the scene with the new element ;). This was really an amazing story!! Be well!!
Howard isn't really in the movies much so all we've really got is the comics and, well, Tony's messed up psyche to go off. And comics!howard is definitely at least incredibly negligent, if not abusive (a scene where he forces a young - like five or six years old - Tony to drink bourbon, saying it'll put hair on his chest sticks out in my mind.)
Tony definitely respects Howard on some level though, if only because Howard was a genius
