        Ill catch up later but I wanted to say that I *really* love the setup that you've performed here and the characterization of Infinite specifically. He feels almost like a mad seer from an old movie, someone that gives a prophecy that Sonic is helpless against. It also kinda makes the whole infinadow relationship have a lot more depth that I wasn't expecting from the tags.

        Also huge fan of your Sonic and his characterization as well. The way he feels so godly and unstoppable here, and we only see the aftermath of the battle, where hes already ripped the ruby from infinite's chest- absolutely spectacular. Really only matched for me by Rouge and Knuckles being there for Shadow. I'm excited to see why knuckles was there specifically- can't wait to read more :D

        Oh and before i forget- really love the imagery that your words evoke. Particularly the destruction fo the death egg and the throne room and the door that the bedchambers were behind. 10/10, really let me envision this environment in a way that usually makes me go apeshit eheheheh

          YOU GET IT YUSSSSS Infinite in this fic had a presentation of someone all seeing. I can't wait to show you guys more of that + unpacking the behavior fully, it's gonna be a lot of fun!

          I'm glad you like Sonic, he's always a favorite of mine to write. :> As for why Knuckles was there, I felt that since in this fic Shadow was never found, Knuckles would've been a major source of emotional support for Rouge, albeit in subtle ways. He sees her standing off to the side there and just knows what she's thinking due to their time together, so I wanted to evoke a sense that these two have a different relationship typically portrayed because of the stress of Shadow's disappearance.

            I did catch up on the third chapter and I gotta say i *really* love infinites characterization here. Like horrible awful slimy feeling, i want to punch him- but you wrote him so fucking well it makes me excited to see more of him and what si going on and deciphering the mysteries at play here.

            And awh, im glad that knuckles was there for her at least :3 Speaking of which huge fan of rouge stepping up in the third chapter. My queen
